SO easy and SO useful!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that it's so simple to have a uniform presentation throughout the videos. Saves so many hours and looks great. I am getting addicted to making vids! Brill!
What do you dislike about the product?
The avatars seem to all have unpredictable movements. But I understand it would probably look odd if they just stayed still. Most people don't guess it's AI in the vids!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Puts my business over in a very professional manner - would never be able to do this without greater expense. It allows me to churn out videos in a very fast and easy way

What do you like best about the product?
I like the possibility of converting texts into voices of professional announcers. I like the ease of the video creation tools, that were not so simple at first, but have been improving. I like the wide variety of avatars. I like the price, is very convenient.
What do you dislike about the product?
You solved very well the problem of synchronizing animations with the times of the text, I congratulate you, but I would like to have an equally incredible solution to edit and insert music and sound effects in the same way that you solved the animations with the implementation of markers. My favorite avatars are Alex (Female) and Will (Man), they are young with a professional appearance, they are both good looking but they do not fall into an exaggerated beauty stereotype; these avatars could pass for French, Mexican, American, English, Australian, Argentine, etc. because they are not blond or black, nor do they have features of a particular race and their clothing is appropriate for business casual; there are other young avatars with generic white physical features but they dress very casually or with ugly suits. Another good example are the avatars of Matt (Male) and Emma (Female) who are of mixed race and could fit perfectly representing many nationalities, however Emma's clothes seem to be too big for her. Improving the clothing of the avatars to make them look better would be a nice improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used to use professional voice talents to make a video tutorial but I was limited in the number of changes or updating the information. With Synthesia, the number of changes I can make is unlimited and that gives me a lot of peace of mind.

More importantly, the TEAM behind Synthesia is top-notch. Quick response time and very customer-orientated. There are similar platforms around, but I stay with Synthesia because of their organization.

What do you dislike about the product?
A few hiccups here and there, as well as many places to improve UX / UI. But I have faith in the team and platform to address these as part of their roadmap.

Quick video production using different languages at scale. Allows me to make client impact at speed and low cost.

There are typical avatars missing. They are all quiet "american". And you have to tune the pronounciation sometimes in a curious way. Very tricky is, that one and the same writing causes different pronounciations in one video 😌

Great AI Avatar Generator/ Video App
What do you like best about the product?
I've been Synthesia for about 2 months, and in that time span they continue to add new features, including the ability to record your screen, and also add videos and other media content. I like that they continue to add additional festures. The AI Avatars are slick, and can really add a whole new dimension to eLearning by incorporating them into your authoring tools such as Storyline or Captivate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Working with multiple text boxes per scene can be a little clunky and confusing, as it becomes increasingly difficult to select the correct text box to edit if they overlap with other text boxes. The only other thing that can be aggravating is the inability to view all 10 scenes along the side of the screen. The last 3 slides are covered by a message box indicating "Max of 10 scenes reached."
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Brings static eLearning content to life with "live" Avatars replacing stock characters. Incorporating Synthesia into Storyline 360 or Adobe Captivate really helps make content more engaging.
Incredibly good quality and synchronization with voice and video
What do you like best about the product?
The best part is that viewers can't tell that this is an AI avatar. It is a very good product that I have used in several of my videos. Love that it also offers incredibly good voice in Norwegian.

Would have liked to have even more editing options in the program.

Helps me make professional videos for my websites. Everything goes much faster, and I can create videoes in few minutes. Also uses it to promote affiliate marketing on tiktok.

Life like voices, these voices arr literally better than the voice over artist i pay before and i get to choose.

For now the only issue i have is the fact that videos cannot take another size asides from the default

We have an English school and we are using Synthesia for creating Avatars to use in our courses. It has proven to be a professional, intuitive, and impressive tool!
What do you dislike about the product?
At the moment, unfortunately, the Italian voices do not sound natural and therefore are not very credible. Another problem is that when the text uses two languages (for example, Italian and English), the pronunciation of one of the two is not reliable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We no longer need to go to the recording studio. This way, in addition to saving the cost of renting the studio, we also save on speakers!
