My experience using synthesia has been very good overall.
What do you like best about the product?
The features that I find most appealing about Synthesia are as follows:
Avatars: The avatars in Synthesia have a remarkably realistic and professional appearance, enhancing the overall quality of the videos.
Templates: The templates provided by Synthesia are visually stunning, adding a touch of beauty and professionalism to the content created using the platform.
Customer service: The customer service team at Synthesia is truly exceptional. They offer valuable assistance, demonstrate patience, and respond promptly to any inquiries or concerns you may have.

What do you dislike about the product?
One aspect of Synthesia that I find problematic is the difficulty in searching for video collections based on their name or author. Currently, there is no option to search using these criteria. However, I am convinced that incorporating the ability to search by collection name or author, particularly the name that appears when you hover the mouse pointer over the video, would significantly reduce the time spent searching and improve user experience. Additionally, expanding the library of videos, especially those featuring the same characters, would be immensely beneficial.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia enables us to produce good quality and professional videos, reducing production time and cost.
Great and very simple to use
What do you like best about the product?
Simplicity and the use of Shutterstock, very similar to Powerpoint in the way you use Synthesia.
What do you dislike about the product?
More flexibility in the animations of the avatars.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Online training is an excellent way of training many people without using a trainer at a fixed time.
Cutting edge and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Absolutely love the choice of avatars and voices within Synthesia. A big plus was their ethics as well - you cannot upload images or videos of other people here - this is very important to me. It is also super easy to use - I have been using it to add depth to my elearning process videos for software training - it makes it so much more professional and engaging - at least I hope it does!
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much I dislike about Synthesia to be honest. I only have a Starter subscription but hopefully will be able to upgrade in the near future. The inability to add logos except in the Enterprise subscription is quite limiting - would be great if you could purchase this as a one off - I work alone and have had one client want a logo - but it wasn't worth it for me to upgrade my subscription to Enterprise for one client - just to put their logo on a shirt. It caused a lot of angst but at least I could change the colour of the shirt to their uniform colour but it was quite an issue. The lack of collared shirts can be an issue at my level - and the fact there are only a couple that can have their shirt colour changed. But these are minor issues only.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a small elearning developer it allows me to add depth to my modules - especially as I work a lot with software process demonstrations - which can be quite boring. To me, it allows me to create quality content consistently.
Outstanding and Attractive Video.
What do you like best about the product?
It is the simplest and easiest AI tool to create an Outstanding and Attractive Video.
What do you dislike about the product?
Adding my own photo and create an avatar just by adding it.

The sheer amount of work that normally goes into writing a script feels like a lot. Add to that the need to then record the VoiceOver, and only then, start preparing the slides, etc, to bring to life your training materials… would normally be a mammoth endeavour. However, since incorporating the new software, I have experienced significant improvements and consolidation of these tasks, leading to enhanced efficiency and productivity.
As an e-learning consultant who has been in this space for the past 15 years, I have become a Jack of all trades. Having a tool like Synthesia that takes away VoiceOver recordings and simplifies video making while offering great layout designs for training content, is a godsend.
Currently working on internal training materials for a large company, I am confident that this tool will enable us to do all the work in-house, for a fraction of the price, and while meeting all the deadlines.

Innovative, great support and very good pricing.

Nothing. In more than a month of using it I didn't find anything bad.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As spanish speaker that I am, they have implemented a spelling option so, even writing in spanish, I can write some word or name in english but write the spelling of that word/name.
Exceptional AI Video Software for Creating Training Videos with Ease and Quality
What do you like best about the product?
The software not only proved to be incredibly easy to use but also delivered outstanding quality products in record time. The user interface of the software is intuitive and user-friendly. Even as someone with limited video editing experience, I found it extremely easy to navigate through the various features and functions. The templates and examples available is really helpful to give ideas of how to make videos even more professional.
What do you dislike about the product?
Automated voiceovers sometimes lack natural intonation or have occasional pronunciation errors. While the technology continues to improve and can be fixed with their diction tool, users who rely heavily on voiceovers may prefer to use professional voice actors for more precise and nuanced audio.

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Synthesia is the people behind the avatars. Everyone i've worked with thus far has been so kind and informative which has made this process so easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside is the lack of a voice-cloning feature

Our CEO and CMO tend to be busy and not have the time to make informative videos for their team, this helps with that. Especially when half of their employees are located in different parts of the country.
Synthesia - AI Videos are pretty good!
What do you like best about the product?
Their service of the team to adapt to my company's need was a big boost to our adopting synthesis.

Sometimes, the avatars voice and facial movements wouldn't match.
The pronunciation or pacing can seem somewhat off at times.
The gestures add some naturality, but are still repetitive and sometimes even ominous.

teacher led virtual sessions. using synthesia is more maintainable and cheap than shooting with real teachers that often would find being a camera actor a hard and disgusting job.
Great Addition for eLearning
What do you like best about the product?
Synthesia has a lot of premade templates available for novice designers. The software is fairly intuitive and userfriendly. There are a lot of avatars and voice options to choose from. This has been great for expanding our microlearning content and adding some video elements to our eLearning courses. Synthesia is constantly updating their product. The newest expressive avatars/voices are incredible!
What do you dislike about the product?
I would really like to see a timeline like canvas, similar to Articulate, where you can hide elements that would otherwise obstruct your view (shapes/text etc, animating in/out). I would also like to see my current credits available within my account instead of contacting support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our brand is real people, so creating videos has been hard within that constraint. Synthesia gives us the look and feel of a real presenter. We are able to quickly produce microlearning content or video additions to our larger eLearning courses in record time. With the addition of the expressive avatars and being able to record your own avatar easily, the videos look even more real. The ability to translate instantly is incredible!
