Very Intuitive, even for a beginner
What do you like best about the product?
We were searching for an AI platform to help produce highly customized videos for our clients. Synthesia makes this easy!
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside is sometimes it takes hours for the video to generate. Do not expect to have every video within an hour.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping to make high quality, marketing videos, without spending a fortune.
Great alternative to live actors.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Synthesia has multiple avatars and are constantly adding new avatars, including some with different clothing/wardrobe options. More impressive though, is the newer avatars that were created outside of a studio environment and present a real-life situational setting for videos. With these newer avatars, the voices have improved and so have the body language movements.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lip sync needs to be improved in some cases, but this is mostly with the older avatars. Some of the actors/avatars need a lot of improvement. However, I don't think there is a single avatar that is perfect with the lipsync. That said, some of the newer avatars have been an improvement on this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our biggest problem was coordinating schedules with our live talent to be able to be filmed in the studio...especially because many of the live talent didn't want to be videotaped and they would never make themselves available. Now, with Synthesia, we can have a "person" speaking to the audience whenever we need to create a video and not have to coordinate schedules. This ability by itself has provided a lot of "buy-in" with the executive management level as they see for themselves how much easier it will be for us to update a video with little effort.

What do you like best about the product?
Super easy and intuitive to use. Great for creating technical training.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some people are still uncomfortable watching the avatars deliver training.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Synthesia to create the training modules for our Customer Certification, and some other internal training.
User friendly technology
What do you like best about the product?
The UI/UX makes the software easy to use without coding and years of experience. Library of media assets is a great feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
Subscription based on seats or users and unable to work on same projects without having to duplicate the video. (Feature is being worked on)

Eliminated the need of using several softwares to create training materials

The personalized avatar is helping us to do demand generation. A combination of volume x personalization can be easily done here

1. Avatar Customization:the customization options for avatars in Synthesia.ai are limited. They may feel that the range of available avatars, facial expressions, or gestures could be expanded to provide more diverse and tailored video content

A great video production tool
What do you like best about the product?
Synthesia has helped us massively in producing media in a quick and consistent manner. The cost & time savings compared to using a production studio are amazing!
What do you dislike about the product?
Some more options around exporting, such as different framerates, would be useful! Additional tools for video editing, such as adding freeze frames, would also be helpful for narrating content.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
After consulting with production companies for our media production, we were shocked at the price and time it would take to produce what we needed. Synthesia has helped us to create media at our own pace at a fraction of the cost. The high-quality avatars mean that we are still conveying everything we need in a high-quality standard.
Synthesia has saved me so much time!

Synthesia has help me in working towards creating a elearning course that would have taken months of recording in a traditional studio.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the Avatars do not look like their mouth is moving in sync with the words being spoken. Some are better than others.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I no longer need to film a huge amount of recording for such a short video. I can create a 5 minute video in under and hour, when before it would take days
I love Synthesia very much and would like people around me to utilize this app!

- A lot of options within each languaage
- Background movies are helpful
- Easy to use (intuitive UI)
- Dictation is useful (There is a bug and the dictation script appears at the beginning of the page whenever a dication is added, but it can be fixed.)

- Not all avatars are nice (e.g., lighting is not very good, body moves too much etc.)
- Mouth motion is not perfect when the language is not English.

It is difficult to generate videos for presentations. Synthesia makes it easy.
