Simplifies Educational Content Creation with Impressive Avatars
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Synthesia is consistent and reliable, with amazing pronunciation and stability in gestures and facial expressions. The way the lighting adjusts for the avatars according to the space is impressive. The outfit customization is a great feature, especially since I can keep the brand colors for the outfits and include my brand logo. The matching gestures make the content feel less AI-generated, unlike previous experiences with other tools. Also, the initial setup of Synthesia was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The credits utilized for voiceovers and avatar generation are the same, which should be improved. If the lip-sync and avatar are not used, then the credits should be used less or can be free. Voiceovers take less server hit compared to avatar generation, so it should take fewer credits.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Synthesia, I don't need a studio, presenter, or cinematographer, and I get output in minutes from the script. It's consistent, reliable, and ideal for creating educational content due to accurate gestures and branding options.
High-Quality Video Creation with Excellent Security
What do you like best about the product?
I use Synthesia for creating videos for YouTube tutorials, and it allows me to create videos quickly from a script with customizable avatars. I like that Synthesia is set up for business professionals who value quality and security. The platform's approach to security is impressive, especially when creating a personal avatar as it requires consent using biometrics and a passcode, which is a higher level of security than many other platforms offer. The stock avatars are very high quality, and the lip sync is excellent. I also find that Synthesia’s avatars are of higher quality compared to alternatives like D-ID and Vyond. The initial setup was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although they allow you to create customized Veo 3 videos with a particular avatar and background, at this time, that doesn't include voice generated directly from a script. I think adding that feature would be a big improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Synthesia to quickly create YouTube tutorial videos from a script. It provides high-quality customizable avatars with excellent lip synchronization and emphasizes security through consent and biometrics.
Frustrated with Partner Program but Easy Video Creation
What do you like best about the product?
I use Synthesia to make AI marketing videos, which helps me save time when creating videos. I like its ease of use, especially the clean interface that makes the workflow fast and simple. The initial setup was quick and straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
The partner program is a scam. They banned me and kept $300 commissions over a tiny keyword mistake. No warnings, no support, and they ignore GDPR requests. Stop stealing money. Issue warnings before banning and respond to human support requests.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most is how easy it is to develop videos in my own language, with the added advantage that I can create them in a very short time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’d like it to include more Latin-looking avatars, along with a broader selection of voices featuring Latin American accents.

It used to take a long time to explain our products and objectives to my agency, and then they would develop videos for us to review. It was a lengthy process. Now we can create the videos in a matter of hours.

It's quite easy to work with too, and I don't know any other product that is so good. The initial setup is going smoothly so far.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Synthesia is so easy to use. It is kind of like using PowerPoint to build the videos. I also like how easy it was to create a virtual avatar of myself. It has consistently worked; I have not experienced any outage, so it it is always available for me to use. The pricing of the minutes is clear for using. I have found tutorials for pretty much everything I have wanted to do. I did have to contact Customer Support for assistance at one point and they got back to me right away with answers.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I don't like is the current pricing; it feels really expensive to only get 120 minutes for the entire year. Would like more minutes - or the ability to purchase a set quantity of more minutes (i.e., another 30 minutes) without having to upgrade to an entirely new level of account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I create educational content and I want, for example, to have ethical dilemmas that students can watch to evaluate the ethical actions to be taken. I cannot hire people to act out the various roles and Synthesia allows me to easily create dialog videos between characters.

What do you like best about the product?
It’s very easy to get started with Synthesia and create AI videos, even with little or no prior experience using the tool. I mainly use it to produce training-related videos, and the ability to generate AI images and short video snippets saves me a lot of time every week.
The Synthesia support site also makes it quick and straightforward to find instructions on how to use specific functions when I need them.

What do you dislike about the product?
As a user, the only thing I dislike about the tool is that, occasionally, the AI-generated voice sounds slightly different in a random sentence or paragraph. This means I end up spending extra time listening to the video multiple times to make sure the audio is flawless before publishing it to our LMS.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia saves me from having to spend hours recording and editing my own audio, thanks to its AI-generated voices that sound very realistic. Once my script is finished, I can generate the audio in just a few minutes.

This system helps me create easy to follow videos for our users to follow along and the AI system helps ensure my points are coming across and detailed.

So far, the only issues I’ve run into are with the AI interaction in the video and with exporting videos, especially when they’re longer.

Still some Robotishness to the avatars when speaking. Sometimes hands or clothes at end of hands are blurred.

We are making setup and welcome videos for new customers. This has quickly benefited us. We are making much more headway with Synthesia. rather than our previous process of Shooting, editing and using a thirdparty voiceover.

I use Synthesia to build e-learnings and marketing materials, and it really helps me with mass production, overcoming language barriers, and providing professional design. I like the simplicity of use and the collaboration option. The initial setup was easy as well.

I would like LMS functionality like MCQs. It would reduce having to use multiple platforms.
