Most Realistic AI Avatars for Professional, Engaging Training Content
What do you like best about the product?
What stands out most to me is the avatar realism. In my opinion, Synthesia currently has the most realistic AI avatars on the market. That realism matters because it helps the content feel more professional, more engaging, and more credible for the audience. For someone like me who is creating training and development content, that makes a real difference.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far, It’s been really awesome!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has made my workflow significantly easier and more efficient, especially as I continue building scalable learning content. The platform is intuitive, well organized, and much easier to work with than many other tools in this space. From a practical standpoint, it has helped reduce production friction and made it much simpler to create polished video content quickly.
Effortless Training Videos, Exceptional Usability
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Synthesia is easy to use. I also like the new AI, as it makes videos longer and separates them into more scenes, improving upon previous shorter scenes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The navigation recently changed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Synthesia for mandated training videos, specifically for compliance with Minnesota 245D statutes. It's easy to use, and other products had messed up lip sync.
User-Friendly Video Creation with Minor Glitches
What do you like best about the product?
I find Synthesia very easy to use overall. I love the media imports because it makes everything so simple. It's really easy to put in images or videos, and the process is straightforward. Everything just works well together, whether I'm adding music or other elements. Compared to other similar software I've used, Synthesia is by far the easiest I've come across.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there's glitches when I'm trying to add a scene. It doesn't always add, and I might have to refresh or log out and back in. It's not a huge pain, but it is kinda challenging. There's also an issue with the voice not matching the lips in videos I've created for myself. Adjusting the speed settings helps, but it's still a bit of a problem. Additionally, when sending links, some people can't access them due to firewalls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Synthesia to create concise video summaries of lectures, making it easier for customers to consume. It's great for realistic video pitches that enhance my service offerings.
User-Friendly Platform Enhances Training Videos
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Synthesia is very user-friendly. The creator platform resembles PowerPoint, which makes it familiar and easy to use. I appreciate how it allows us to quickly create branded, specific content to import directly into our LMS. It's incredibly easy to navigate the platform with little to no issues. I also like that it allowed me to sign up for a 'beginner' account at a very affordable rate to get hands-on experience with it before meeting with sales to upgrade.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a library of animated assets to add to the page. The templates have them built in, but it is hard to know what is included in each template. I wish there was a level between the creator and Enterprise. The price jump between the two levels is quite extreme ($600 per year to $10,000 per year).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia helps me quickly create branded, specific training videos for our LMS, simplifying content creation for our employees.
Great Avatar & Dubbing Features, but Lip Sync Needs to Look More Natural
What do you like best about the product?
Basically I appreciate the avatar and dubbing feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lip sync does not produce natural videos. The face and facial expressions become unnaturally contorted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is one tool for video production, especially when an avatar makes sense.
Platform Updated, But with Translation Challenges
What do you like best about the product?
I think Synthesia is the best software at the moment for creating videos, where things seem more natural and offer support for more languages. What is best done is that the videos look more real. It is the best platform to work with companies that need multiple languages, especially to have avatars and voices for each language. This translation function works very well and significantly reduces work hours when used more regularly. So far, it has been very good at offering customizable solutions, and I believe the tools are all customizable.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there could be a tool that makes video editing easier. I still think it is very rudimentary, and the video editor part seems very heavy to run, making it quite difficult to make these small corrections. Furthermore, it seems that every small correction takes a lot of time and uses up regeneration credits, which is quite frustrating. I also find it complicated to have a preview of how things will sound, like being able to listen to the voice-over before generating an entire video, to fix the script before translating. This part of knowing which words should not be translated or things before generating can still be developed. I also frequently need to regenerate videos to correct the pronunciation of company and product names, which consumes credits and time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Synthesia to create avatars and voiceovers in various languages, which significantly reduces my working hours by avoiding recordings in multiple languages, also making translations easier.
Fast, Sleek, and Well-Organised—Fewer Mistakes, Better Work
What do you like best about the product?
Fast work with fewer mistakes. It’s very well organised, and I love the look and feel—modern and sleek.
What do you dislike about the product?
So many changes—sometimes I miss a few updates. But it’s also constantly getting better, which I appreciate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I’m having storage issues with the filing system, which is affecting how I organise my work. I’d like to see improvements to the system so it’s easier to file, manage, and keep everything organised.

Versatility in Languages, But High Prices
What do you like best about the product?
I love the versatility that Synthesia has with languages, which is great for me as a bilingual teacher, as it allows me to save time while developing the quality of the videos. The videos I create are quite good, harmonious, and integrate well into the work I do in public schools. Additionally, Synthesia makes the instructions very easy to make, especially by providing the same image and message in two languages. This is essential for my students who speak different languages, ensuring that everyone receives the same information effectively. I am also happy with how it can be easily integrated with YouTube through subtitles, which is very useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price is quite onerous. Compared to the alternative that artificial intelligence offers today, most of it can be done for a much lower payment. Although Synthesia offers a platform where all of this is integrated, free platforms are already performing the same function.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Synthesia to create instructional avatars, which helps provide a realistic learning experience. It facilitates the integration of images with voice and provides humanization to the work, in addition to allowing teaching in multiple languages.
Revolutionized Our Educational Video Creation
What do you like best about the product?
I use Synthesia for creating educational videos for my certification courses, and I love its human-like delivery despite being AI. I find the ability to choose language and accent extremely helpful to suit my global students, especially since some of my students in India struggle with British or American accents. Synthesia allows me to change the accent to 'Indian' English, which solves the problem. I also appreciate that I can replace images, scenes, and videos from Synthesia's collection or library to perfectly align with the message I want to convey. For instance, I added a short video of a 5-layered cake to make a scene visually appealing, and uploaded an image I created to complement it. The initial setup was very easy, which was a big plus for me. Overall, I'm really satisfied with how friendly and adaptive Synthesia is for my needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like their templates but if they could provide more number of scenes to choose from, it will help. Although I can choose scenes from other media, it takes longer to find the ones that match with the template color schemes etc. Also, the credits in the basic version are too low. I burnt most of them in just one video.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Synthesia for creating educational videos. It reduces the effort in recording and editing by offering language and accent customization. This helps my students understand better, and the ability to replace scenes makes videos visually appealing.
