Efficient Video Creation with Minor Lag Issues
What do you like best about the product?
I use Synthesia to create videos for work, mainly training videos or presentations. It solves the issue of having to re-record audios if the transcript or video changes, as I can just update the avatar's transcript in seconds. I find it produces high-quality videos. It's easy to use, which I really appreciate. The avatars are great, and it has loads of useful templates. The AI option is great as it can make the base of the video for me to save time, and I just need to edit it when needed. There is a diverse selection of avatars to choose from, which is beneficial for creating a wider, more diverse portfolio of training videos, so learners feel included and not excluded. The AI option to generate the video from a prompt or transcript saves loads of time. The initial setup was really easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can lag loads the more stuff you have animated or the more complex a slide is. It can take a lot of time to generate as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia solves the issue of re-recording audio with video changes, allowing quick updates to the avatar's transcript. It offers high-quality videos, saving time with diverse avatars and AI features to edit videos easily.
Flexible, Easy Creation of Polished Videos with Superb AI Avatars
What do you like best about the product?
open flexibility and ease to be able to create polished and professional video content. The use of non-licenced people to be able to generate avatars is a superb touch too
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to be able to create a personal avatar on a blank screen for free and place wherever for the video

Clearer communication and reference points for the team if they miss meetings
Fast, Easy Content Creation with Great Onboarding
What do you like best about the product?
I think it's mainly just how easy it is to create content with Synthesia. It feels as easy as creating a PowerPoint presentation. All I need to be responsible for is getting the scripts in place, creating the templates upfront, and then it's almost plug and play most of the time. The onboarding team has been very good, especially Kamar. He's really helped us understand the product, teach us how to use it, and review what we've created so far, making it a pretty seamless onboarding experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've had a couple of challenges with the templates that have been created so far, so I need to spend a bit more time creating templates. And, obviously, it's a technical tool, so there is a time to get fully competent in how to use it. But in all honesty, it's not too much.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find that Synthesia speeds up content creation and enhances quality, handling frequent updates easily. It's as simple as making a PowerPoint, letting me focus on scripts and templates, making the process almost plug-and-play.
One stop solution
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the avatars, the body language, and how quickly videos can be generated.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t really dislike anything, but the eye contact on a few avatars feels a little off.

Professional and Natural Presentations
What do you like best about the product?
I use Synthesia for demos and product explanations and love that we can now communicate professionally and consistently, without dialects in the presentation. I love the use and applications of Synthesia. It looks natural and the pronunciation is excellent. Additionally, the initial installation of Synthesia was simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
You always have the feeling with AI tools that it is AI... but that is a minor issue. Present something more simply in a natural way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Synthesia, we can express ourselves professionally and consistently, neutral in dialect and appearance.
Easy, Great-Looking Short Videos That Outshine My Own Recordings
What do you like best about the product?
I find it quite easy to create short videos, and they look and sound great. I used to record my own videos, but the Synthesia ones are so much better. If I need to change any details, it’s also easy to do.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is still some way to go on video editing, I don't find the way it works with scenes very intuitive and it still lacks some flexibility on graphic or sound editing. I am comparing with video editing packages like Camtasia.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can get high quality video content created and launched very quickly. For me it is internal communications like trainings and announcements.
Intuitive Video Creation with Excellent Multilingual Translation
What do you like best about the product?
I like Synthesia’s capabilities and how easily and quickly I can create a good video with it. The platform is simple to use and very intuitive. A crucial feature for me is its translation options: I translate my training videos into 20 languages, and the translation quality is very good. I can also see that it keeps improving over time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I miss some of the statistics. I think this should be more automated: I need to know how many views my videos are getting, and I’d like to be able to download an Excel report in a single file instead of clicking through videos one by one. Some editing features are also missing. Once a video is created, I ask people for feedback, and when they send me timestamps for what should be corrected, I can’t jump directly to that point. I’d also like a search option in the script so I can quickly look for certain words.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The translation quality keeps improving. I also really like the AI tools for creating clips and images, and the newer feature that can generate things like process flow diagrams is great as well.
Speech-Pace Timeline That Speeds Up Video Editing Workflow
What do you like best about the product?
The timeline based on speech pace is the most useful tool, because it speeds up my workflow in video production.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’d love to have something similar to the nodebanana workflow: starting from a single frame, then building a grid of different frames for the next cut, while keeping the same color and consistent characters throughout.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gives me the chance to keep doing video production, even though I’m in the IT department now.

I like the feature that lets me create presentations with avatars.

Synthesia Has Revolutionized How We Create Tutorials
What do you like best about the product?
Synthesia has really changed how we create tutorials for our language training—both internally and for our clients. The platform feels intuitive overall, and it’s easy to get started without a steep learning curve. The integrated tools for screengrabs is awesome and easy to use. I wish I had more time to play with all the options!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it’s unclear which features I actually have access to on the Creator plan. Often, things look clickable, but then I find out I need to upgrade to use them. I also sometimes find it difficult to navigate between the different elements on a page, which can make the overall experience feel a bit confusing. Customer support has been a bit hit or miss when it comes to answering questions about subscriptions. I don't find the chatbot particularly useful. I also wish the integrated screengrab option was available on Firefox.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia has made it much easier for us to share and distribute our explanatory content. We’ve used it in particular to explain grammar rules, introduce the content of our e-learning modules, and recap each module afterward. Internally, I’ve also used it to create tutorials for our new systems. It’s also been great for making fun, short teaser videos.
