Easy AI Video Generation with In-Depth Onboarding and Training
What do you like best about the product?
This tool makes AI video generation very easy. I can rewrite the script and iteratively generate matching video voiceovers. The onboarding support and training were in-depth and very helpful for understanding all the features.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were a way to manipulate or art-direct the avatars so they could show a wider emotional range in a more realistic way, or at least have more expressive emotional movement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Shooting videos can be a costly endeavor, and some projects simply don’t have the budget for it. Synthesia makes it much faster and more cost-effective to create tutorials and instructional videos.
Highly Engaging with Expressive AI, Needs Gesture Fix
What do you like best about the product?
I use Synthesia for creating sales training videos for our medical software and find it really helpful because adding AI avatars keeps the content interesting. I appreciate the expressive voices, which usually put emphasis on the right parts of the sentence, making them very life-like. This approach helps solve engagement issues, as monotone voices don't assist in this regard. Paired with matching facial features, Synthesia significantly improves the experience for the user. Additionally, the initial setup was super easy, and I could start working right away. Our team also set up a corporate template that seems to help streamline our process.
What do you dislike about the product?
The gestures on the expressive avatars. I had an avatar who was covering his face, or keeping his hands up during pauses in speaking. I tried to fix by regenerating, but it got progressively worse with each regeneration. I wish there was a slider or something that I could dial the expressive gestures up or down.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia makes my training sessions engaging with AI avatars and expressive voices, keeping the content interesting and lifelike.
Intuitive AI Video Assistant That Saves Time and Delivers Great Value
What do you like best about the product?
Personally I really like the AI video assistant, which can create a video from an input such as PDF or work document. It boasts a really intuitive interface, it's really easy to navigate. You are able to upload your own screen recordings from file and this really helps with the integration experience. It can handle multiple video files and AI generated avatars really well at once with text. I feel like the time saving because of Synthesia really shows where the pricing matches its value. Getting set-up was super easy and support are great for answering any queries :)
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like it could do with improving a few features such as the the way the avatars say certain words in certain languages, the way they move their mouths when speaking, the AI generated custom avatars could do with some refinement also.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia is really streamlining the work processes of content creation on a large scale for me personally. What would usually take 3-4 hours of recording, voice overs, scripts, video editing can all be done in the matter of less than an hour now with the in-app video editor which encompasses all above features
Eases Video Production, Slowed by Rendering
What do you like best about the product?
I use Synthesia to produce enablement videos, and it makes it really easy to produce videos. It's much faster and the outcome is more satisfying. Synthesia is my favorite tool for this.

Rendering takes so long. That's the only issue.

I like how easy Synthesia is to pick up and use. As a first-time user, I was able to understand the platform quickly. I also appreciate the amount of training provided to ensure users get the most out of it. The variety of videos that can be created and edited in specific ways is impressive, offering a lot of options to make videos brand-led. We've always used Synthesia because we see so much benefit from it.

The ability to help with script writing for specific channels.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the lifelikeness of the actual avatars in Synthesia. It makes it more personal when presenting videos, as the personal avatar looks very lifelike. This feature helps in making videos more engaging.

So it's just the cost, really. Reduce the cost. For using the platform.

How quickly content creation can happen, its easy to learn and when it comes to transcripts the review is accessible

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease with which we can generate videos in just a few minutes to a professional standard with Synthesia. It's been very quick and simple to set up, and once the initial assets were in place, it was easy to get going.

Some of the graphic editing abilities could be more finely tuned.

Easy to Navigate—Tutorials Had Me Creating My First Video Fast
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use is what stands out most for me. I’m not the most technical person, yet I’ve found the platform very easy to navigate and use. After watching a number of tutorials, I was well on my way to creating my first video.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I had more control over the avatar’s eyes. In a few of my videos, they end up looking in the wrong direction, and I’m not sure how to correct or adjust this.

It helps bring our company policies to life with engaging videos, instead of boring Word documents that no one ever reads. It also supports us in sharing internal communications much more quickly and smoothly.
