What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Synthesia is how quickly and consistently it allows us to create high‑quality training videos without requiring advanced video production skills. The ability to easily update content, maintain a consistent look and tone across videos, and produce on‑demand learning resources makes it especially valuable for scaling learning and keeping materials current. It significantly reduces production time while still delivering a polished, professional result.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside of Synthesia is that the videos can sometimes feel a bit scripted or less natural compared to live‑recorded content, which requires extra effort to keep presentations engaging. There are also some limitations around customization and interactivity, so it’s not always the best fit for highly dynamic or discussion‑based training. That said, these tradeoffs are understandable given the speed and scalability the platform provides.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia solves the challenge of creating and maintaining high‑quality video learning content quickly, consistently, and without heavy production effort. It eliminates the need for live recording, editing software, and re‑recording every time content changes, which is especially valuable when policies, processes, or tools are updated frequently.
For me, this means I can produce clear, professional training videos on demand, update content easily when information changes, and scale learning across the organization without slowing down delivery. It’s helped reduce development time, improve consistency in messaging, and expand the use of video in learning where it previously wouldn’t have been feasible.

Natural Avatars, Lots of Voices, and Easy-to-Use Customization
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the wide range of avatars and voices available to use. Most of the avatars look and sound very natural. The extra customization options—like adding stock images and animated icons—are also great. I found the software easy to pick up because it’s quite intuitive, and in many ways it feels like it uses the same basic skill set as building PowerPoint presentations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that there were more things that the avatars could do with their actual bodies, like shrug or point to specific parts of the screen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using Synthesia, it often took me several attempts to record a video of myself explaining something while talking over a PowerPoint deck or walking through a product screen. Now I can record with a lot more confidence and usually in fewer takes, because I know I can quickly fix any voiceover slip-ups simply by editing the script.

After attending several of their weekly webinars, it’s clear that the platform is both user-friendly and thoughtfully designed for organizations looking to scale training and communication through video.

Not knowing about updates and we were using an older version and the sound and body weren't matching.

One of the standout benefits is how quickly we can create professional, polished content without the need for extensive video production resources. The AI avatars, voice options, and templates make it easy to develop consistent, high-quality training materials that align with our organizational standards.
Empowers Quick, Flexible Video Creation
What do you like best about the product?
I love Synthesia's avatars and the flexibility they offer in changing backgrounds and outfits. The new expressive avatars are really great for making the content look more human by expressing emotions, which adds enthusiasm to our videos. I also appreciate how quickly Synthesia helps me produce and spread learning content to a vast audience. The ability to download content into a SCORM file and integrate it into my LMS is very useful. Our representative is super helpful, making them a great partner to work with. I also love the Feature Friday sessions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, but I would like to have even more expressive avatars and I would like to learn more about the interactions and if they can do branching (our rep is going to show us what we can do next meeting).

What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy Synthesia's flexibility and its wealth of different personalities, languages, and accents. The platform's ability to personalize and customize what characters are wearing, the scenery, and the overall flexibility allow me to create a company-branded, personal experience for our learners. It's super easy to use and very flexible when changing and modifying things, producing high-quality results. I really enjoy the variety of personalities, voices, languages, and the level of personalization and customization we can achieve within the videos, incorporating music and scenery choices. This enhances the learning experience significantly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, Synthesia has difficulty with a few words. It's tricky to get it to pronounce things the way you need it. Or just have the timing of the speech be a little bit better. Sometimes when it's an actual sentence or statement, it comes out in the final recording as a question. So it's a little hard to make those adjustments. We get around them, but sometimes those do pop up.

I use Synthesia for sales and resource training, where it combats boredom and traditional limitations by creating more engaging and personalized AI-generated content. It aligns with our brand and supports global inclusivity, enhancing the learner experience.

What do you like best about the product?
Lots of options to customize creation to suit business needs. Interface is intuitive and they are constantly updating and upgrading the user experience.

Nothing so far. I am very impressed. Great user experience.

It has helped update training videos easily and at a fast pace. As our business evolves, so does our training. Being able to build a presentation with ease is a game changer.
Seamless Training Videos, Engaging and Efficient
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can upload content and have a video created that I can just edit, which is very time efficient. I like the avatars because they make it feel like there's a person with our learners rather than them being alone. Adding videos in the background and music are features I appreciate, as they enhance the learning experience by making it more engaging and personalized. Also, Synthesia makes it easy to convert PPTs into videos, which helps when we're short-handed on instructors. Setting it up was very easy, and I made my first video within hours. I was able to train my team on using it within a day or two.
What do you dislike about the product?
The avatar sometimes can be a little weird, especially when speaking. I know with AI, it does look like it is AI. So that's one of the things that I just feel sometimes can just look a little on the weird side. But as far as, like, improving, I think the interactive features would be nice, to, I guess, to make it more interactive. I know the current features that we have are good, but I think I personally would like a better way that the user could interact with the video.

I use Synthesia to create engaging training videos, making learning interesting and fun. It helps with time efficiency and allows for independent learning when we're short-staffed. The avatars and music features ensure learners don't feel alone and can match the video's theme.
