Great platform, good value, a lot of expectations
What do you like best about the product?
Real-time event tracking, very user-friendly interface, very helpful support team, constant improvement and new features introduction.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes their documentation may not be sufficient to implement the features or complete the integration.
There are certain technical limitations that would take some considerable time to have been implemented: one FCM key per project allows only one App per project for example.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Omni-channel campaign management became easy to implement and benefit from since we implemented Exponea.
To show banners on our site or in our mobile app (Android & IOS) if they are in our platform (active session)
To send browser push and/or mobile push if the user has left our platform recently (active session has been within hours)
To send email to those users who have not had active session for a few days.
To send sms if the user's email became invalid
To add the user to the retargeting campaign if the user stopped reacting to our emails/ push notification and sms.
We also can add new channels and test them without any costly integration by using Exponea's webhooks.
A/B testing became usual for our Campaign Managers. We continuously improve our Campaign performance by introducing new logic and by changing the number of touch points and playing with the new offers. It is very easy to use A/B testing in Exponea and you can basically a/b test anything starting from one channel/campaign to the multivariate/multiple mediums when your A variant is consequently replicated through all touch-points during the campaign.
Customer data management and tracking as well as deduplication and merging all identificators to have 360 customer view and act upon it by sending the notification to them via the most recent interaction or preference history (so we won't send the email to user if they have visited our mobile app just a while ago, we will send the mobile push. And if the user do not read our emails, like the last 3-5 emails but comes back after the sms sent then we will send the next notification via sms instead of piling up the unread email number in their inbox)
Exponea is great in terms of managing the User retention by running campaigns that intend to increase the number of returned users and reduce the churn at the early stages when they lose interest and need attention. Yes, i am talking about RFM segmentation and relative ease of implementation of such technique. Yet your Creative and Content guys should be ready for this challenge as your offer should really be relevant and valuable for these segments.
Use of Jinja, JS, SQL, HTML, CSS in creating/editing weblayers, email templates, extracting the data really helps with getting the right result and meeting business requirements.
We are still exploring their features and looking forward to growing our business with them.

Prepare the most detailed list of requirements.
Be ready to roll out the new email sender as Exponea is integrated with the limited number of them (Mailgun, Mailjet, etc).
It is better to buy the tech consultant hours during the implementation stage to avoid falling into pitfalls.

What do you like best about the product?
our experience has been very good and the results achieved significant, for a better performance of our entire work team. However, some of the features and updates have minimal bugs. This if improved, could provide higher quality work and the user could increase their productivity on the platform. This is not to say that it is bad at all. But if it could be much better than it already is.
What do you dislike about the product?
Exponea enables companies to understand their customers and attract them through the collection and analysis of their behavior. You can improve the customer experience and act on their interactions. In addition, the marketing department can evaluate the campaigns and execute an automation in these thanks to the tools provided by the platform. Its interface is fully organized and clean, you can navigate without any problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Exponea for our marketing department to communicate with our customers with a better experience that provides effectiveness and significant impact on revenue increases. Our greatest benefit and we consider the most valuable is that our department and marketing team have established incredible independence without having to implement or depend on IT. This platform offers great flexibility, customization, reports, monitoring and numbers in real time, it is definitely very complete, we also have the ability to develop our marketing campaigns in a simpler and faster way.Thanks to this, we have greater work flow and savings in time that we can focus on other areas of our company. Through email marketing, we get in contact with our users effectively obtaining the best results thanks to A / B tests, we are very happy since we reached objectives in a very short time.

Exponea works very well and is totally suitable for companies that have large e-commerce projects and thus take advantage of the data that the platform provides in real time on user behavior. It is easy to use and simple to configure. The tools and functions it offers such as creating campaigns, granular follow-ups and numbers in real time, personalization, reports, among others, allow your marketing team to obtain a work flow and significant time savings. Totally recommended.

Personalization, having all marketing instruments in one place. We can build multi-channel communications with our customers and then analyse and visualise the results

Think twice before start using it. It is very expensive and I don`t think it worth that. SAS is much better

The Single Customer View which contains insight into things such as Customer Lifetime Value, preferred categories and RFM Segmentations. The out of the box integrations which fuel the events based analytics makes personalised omni-channel communications easily executable.
The team is also great, from the customer success, integration, sales and support services, everyone is always more than happy to go that extra mile to get things done.

Nothing I can really think of so far, things have progressed well and at a great speed but we are early in on our partnership.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Personalisation at scale: Before Exponea we could only personalise content on a per channel basis as a basic level of personalisation. Now with Exponea we’re able to personalise all customer touch points including previously untouched channels such as mobile push and web push. As all communication channels are powered by Exponea’s single and consistent dataset, it enables true omni-channel personalisation at scale.

Top class tool for single customer view and campaign building
What do you like best about the product?
The split between customer attributes and events, with their own attributes, is 100% the best practice way to build a framework that can be tailored to each organisation in terms of which data is pushed, but also how it is used for segments, campaigns and reports. It's the best tool out there. Additionally, the flexibility in the campaign builder to create journeys based on different behaviours, segments and so on, is user friendly and intuitive. Top class.

Complex, yet easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
I like working in Exponea environment. Exponea shows a lot of flexibility when building various campaign scenarios, while it is still easy to use. Navigation is straightforward. Learning curve is pretty steep. You can build very sophisticated personalized marketing campaigns with this tool. Growing list of integrations with other marketing platforms is quite sufficient for us.
Consulting team has provided us with many useful insights and detailed advice. We are currently implementing recommendation module where they are helping us setting up different machine learning models and explaining various features and their impact.
The support team is quick to respond and resolve any problems I encountered so far.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I need to set up more advanced segmentation based on more events and aggregates at the same time. While the intuitive building environment usually helps, here it complicates the process a bit and the computation has to be divided into more sub-stages and aggregates.
It is hard to avoid cluttering of the environment with variables, segmentations and aggregates which are no longer needed. Some cleaning tools would be very useful.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Majority of our campaigns through Exponea are email campaigns. In addition to that we run online display campaigns via FB ads and Google Ads integration. Currently we are starting with a web personalization and recommendation module. Important part of Exponea are reports, there are some predefined reports but also customizable reports which I regularly use to gain customer insights.

I would choose Exponea for my company again.

Our experience with expose cannot be better, we are satisfied with the results we obtain daily. This platform allows you to perform an analysis after the recorded data to interact in the best and solid way with your clients, in this way we attract as many clients as possible, in addition to carrying out automated campaigns that allow you to channel the time saved in other areas.

we have not experienced any problems, this platform is really constantly evolving, its developers are aware of each detail to provide the best user experience, totally grateful to the entire Exponea team.

Our work team feels grateful for the simplification of tasks thanks to the automation and campaign management, it really is a solid and very important tool for companies in general, through email marketing we can contact our clients effectively, it has advanced functions and we made templates for emails, we improved our marketing system incredibly. We track user activity and its integration into our data system has been great. We generate increases in sales as well as attracting potential customers.

For companies exposed would be an option to find a solution to major problems in terms of organization, management and administration. You can also improve your marketing system through automated campaigns and make a stable, personalized and solid communication with your customers. The fact that you can find actionable insights within the platform and activate them straight away within Exponea.

What do you dislike about the product?
Exponea is a tool that has a lot of great features but if I had to think of something I dislike, it would be the email tool that is not as intuitive as all other ESPs out there.
There is also the fact that it is geared towards the retail industry and has not got all the tools needed for publishers such as integration with Google Ad Manager to serve ads to audiences instead of contexctually.

Solving: single customer view, customer identification, unification of data, understanding of our users, tracking all actions on website

It has great capabilities and a responsive support team.

What do you like best about the product?
The human service is what I like most. The Exponea team have been very easy to work with. They have been attentive to requests, training, meetings and have provided to a great level of knowledge and care.
The platform is great for reporting, with dashboards that are easy to customise and share with colleagues. The user experience is great, the tool feels relatively easy to use and learn for everything we've done so far.

So far it is hard to pin point an area for improvement as my relationship with Exponea is relatively new and I feel satisfied so far. However if I have to describe a point, as time progresses and both companies are more familiar with each other - I would like to see more future objectives/future roadmap suggestions from Exponea based on their understanding of Fiflop’s business and customers.
