Great DSGVO-Aligned Video Platform, Held Back by Manual Admin Workflows
Reviewed on Jun 21, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Pexip’s EU-localized media storage is critical for our German operations, removing cross-border data transfer compliance risks entirely. Every client video call creates permanent, uneditable audit logs linked to customer records, drastically cutting the time I spend prepping materials for BfDI audits. Layered access permissions also make it simple to log formal meeting consent for sensitive enterprise consultations.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are no ready-made report layouts tailored to BfDI audit requirements, so I spend hours each week reworking raw log exports manually. It lacks native two-way sync with our compliance CRM; copying consent and session details into client profiles daily creates error risks and gaps in our traceability chain. Initial configuration also lacked pre-built DSGVO rule sets, slowing our full rollout.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We run all confidential B2B client video consultations on Pexip to replace non-compliant foreign video tools. EU-resident hosting resolves cross-border data law concerns, while built-in logging and permission controls simplify consent management and data subject access requests ahead of regulatory inspections.

Secure and Reliable for Telecom Compliance Needs
Reviewed on Jun 17, 2026

What do you like best about the product?
Its regulated call recording and secure log storage are invaluable for our Guernsey telecom compliance work. Every customer identity check gets auto timestamped and archived, cutting out tedious manual note-taking and speeding up audit preparation. Video links stay stable on all devices, so client verification calls rarely get interrupted.
What do you dislike about the product?
Record search lacks custom tags to categorize customer calls, making it slow to locate old sessions. Audit exports can’t adapt to our local regulatory form templates. Team access permissions are buried deep in layered menus, wasting time when managing junior staff accounts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Standard video tools couldn’t produce audit-ready call records to meet local telecom data rules. Pexip automates compliant session archiving and delivers consistent remote call quality, cutting post-call admin work and making official audits far simpler to complete.

Robust Security and Seamless Functionality for Banking Needs

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Pexip's combination of enterprise-grade security, reliable performance, and practical work-oriented features, which align perfectly with the rigorous requirements of Germany’s banking and compliance sector. Its industry-leading security framework stands out, as it supports granular user permission management, meeting access restrictions, and activity logging, keeping all sensitive information safe and easing internal audits. The outstanding stability and cross-scenario adaptability are crucial, allowing smooth audio and video during all types of meetings, from short huddles to lengthy discussions, without lag or disconnection. Pexip's user-friendly collaborative functions streamline workflows with high-quality screen sharing and real-time document annotation features. Additionally, the meeting recording feature provides a great way to keep valid archives. The seamless compatibility with our existing office systems, like syncing meeting calendars with a few clicks and an intuitive interface, means even frontline staff can get started quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile operating experience could be optimized. Most of our frontline colleagues work at offline service outlets and often join meetings via mobile devices when they are out on business. We notice that the screen sharing display is not adaptive enough on mobile phones or tablets. When we present detailed SurveyCTO questionnaire data, multi-page compliance documents and complex regulatory tables, the content looks cramped and some small text is hard to read. Besides, real-time annotation functions are less responsive on mobile terminals compared with desktop devices, which affects interactive discussion during remote assessments and data reviews.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pexip solves data security and regulatory challenges with its encryption and control features, eliminates travel for distributed teams, and ensures stable long meetings. It improves work efficiency with its real-time sharing and collaboration functions.

Secure, Compliant, But Lacks Some Features
Reviewed on May 26, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Pexip’s healthcare-focused security framework is its greatest strength, fully aligning with GDPR, PsychThG and SGB V to shield all confidential patient information during video interactions. The consistently clear audio and steady video performance hold up well during extended therapy appointments, while seamlessly linking our on-site consultation spaces and remote team members. Its uncomplicated interface requires almost no technical training, letting all clinical staff operate the platform autonomously. It also enables accessible remote care for patients with mobility issues and unifies cross-team discussions, eliminating the data vulnerabilities of generic consumer video solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile layout is awkward to navigate for quick informal case discussions outside the clinic. Its native note-taking functions are overly simplistic and cannot synchronize with our existing patient record systems. Furthermore, it does not include specialized reporting tools built for PsychThG audits, which means our team has to manually organize log data to fulfill regulatory requirements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This platform makes remote mental health consultations feasible for patients who cannot attend in-person visits. It eliminates critical data safety risks and standardizes communication across our care teams, keeping all daily operations fully compliant with German healthcare regulations and data protection rules.

Unmatched Video Interoperability with Room for UI Improvement
Reviewed on May 07, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I like Pexip for its unmatched video interoperability, as it acts as a secure 'bridge' between different video platforms and hardware, allowing seamless communication. This creates a 'just works' environment, eliminating the need for user training or IT intervention. It's also a certified Microsoft Cloud Video Interop (CVI) partner, which is great for connecting various systems with Microsoft Teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pexip is highly regarded for its video interoperability and security, particularly for enterprise, government, and healthcare sectors. However, users have identified several areas for improvement, ranging from user interface complexity to cost and feature parity with competitors. Users often find the interface complex for newcomers, requiring more training compared to simpler platforms like Zoom or Teams. The administration side can be overwhelming, with too many options available, making setup and troubleshooting daunting for non-technical users. The mobile app has been cited as having reduced functionality compared to the desktop version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Pexip for enterprise video conferencing interoperability, acting as a bridge between different video systems. It allows seamless communication without user training or IT help, enabling full audio, video, and content sharing across diverse platforms.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Pexip for video meetings and really appreciate how it brings different platforms like Teams and Zoom together in one place. It makes it easy to join meetings with clients and internal teams without running into compatibility issues. I especially like its interoperability and the way it manages connections smoothly, so the meeting experience stays consistent whether I’m in the office or working remotely. It’s also very easy to use—joining meetings is straightforward, even from meeting room systems. On top of that, I value its reliability and stable video quality, which make a noticeable difference during important calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
One area where I think Pexip could improve is the UI/UX, since it doesn’t feel as modern or as intuitive as some other platforms. The initial setup and configuration can also be a bit complex, especially for new users who are just getting started. Occasionally, I’ve run into minor connection or compatibility hiccups with certain devices or networks, although it doesn’t happen very often.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pexip helps solve compatibility and connectivity challenges in hybrid work, making meetings across platforms like Teams and Zoom smooth and hassle-free. It provides a consistent meeting experience whether I’m in the office or working remotely, and it reduces the need to switch between apps or spend time dealing with technical issues.

Secure, Interoperable, but Complex Setup
Reviewed on Apr 29, 2026

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the interoperability feature of Pexip. It's the best for letting people join the same meeting even if they're using different platforms. The security and encryption are strong as well. The end-to-end encryption level is impressive. Also, I appreciate the browser-based joining, which helps me to join directly from the browser.
What do you dislike about the product?
I try using flexible video conferencing, but it didn't work very smoothly for me. Because the setup is quite complex compared to the platform and the are not very intuitive. I also face some difficulty understanding the configuration and features in English. So it seemed powerful, but not very beginner friendly or suitable or casual users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Pexip for secure communication and enterprise-level meetings, enjoying its interoperability, strong encryption, and the convenience of joining from the browser.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Pexip for video conferencing and collaboration, and I really appreciate its ability to seamlessly connect different video conferencing platforms like Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet. It's great for joining meetings from different conferencing tools in one place, and it helps manage virtual meeting rooms efficiently. The interoperability feature stands out because it eliminates compatibility issues and makes it super easy to join meetings without any friction. I also value the reliability and consistent audio-video quality. The platform is easy to use across devices, which makes it a practical solution for diverse collaboration needs. The initial setup was relatively smooth with a structured process for basic configurations, making it easy to get started with core functionality. Overall, Pexip ensures high-quality video and audio collaboration, simplifying cross-platform communication and making remote meetings more flexible and efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Pexip works well for cross-platform video conferencing, some areas could be enhanced. The interface could be more intuitive for first-time users, and certain advanced settings may require a bit of familiarity to use effectively. For the user interface, simplifying the layout and making key actions (like joining meetings, switching layouts, or accessing controls) more clearly visible would help new users navigate the platform more easily. A more modern design with clearer icons and guided prompts could also reduce the initial learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Pexip to connect different video platforms like Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet, solving compatibility issues and allowing seamless, reliable communication across devices and systems. It simplifies cross-platform meetings, enhances audio-video quality, and makes remote collaboration efficient.

Reliable Bridge for Seamless Video Interoperability
Reviewed on Mar 06, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how Pexip reliably solves our biggest pain point with true cross-platform video interoperability without sacrificing security or performance. It just works every single time. Our team uses a mix of Microsoft Teams, legacy SIP/H.323 room systems, and our external partners regularly join from Zoom or Google Meet. Before Pexip, we spent 10–15 minutes of every meeting troubleshooting connections. Now people join from any platform, on any device, with zero friction. That consistency has made a huge difference in how we run meetings internally and with clients. I also appreciate that Pexip acts as a universal bridge, letting any device, any platform, any system join the same meeting seamlessly. It helps our old room systems talk to Teams, allows clients on Zoom to join without links or plugins, and remote employees can use whatever software they prefer. Plus, it keeps us from having to replace our existing hardware to work with modern tools. It was also very easy to set up initially.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest pain point is the user interface and admin dashboard. It’s very technical and IT‑focused, which means it’s not intuitive for non‑technical team leads or meeting organizers. Simple tasks like setting up a temporary meeting room, updating settings, or pulling basic usage reports often require deeper navigation or even help from IT. It works, but it’s not nearly as polished or user‑friendly as consumer‑grade platforms like Zoom or Teams. First, better out-of-the-box integration with Microsoft Teams would be huge. Right now it works, but it’s not as seamless as native solutions. Things like meeting chat sync, background effects, and real-time presence status don’t carry over as smoothly as we’d like. Making those features feel native instead of bridged would eliminate small but frequent user frustrations. Second, simpler self-service tools for non-admin users. Right now, almost everything requires IT support. If team leads could create, edit, or delete temporary meeting rooms, adjust access settings, or pull basic usage reports on their own, that would reduce our IT team’s workload dramatically. Too many simple tasks are locked behind admin-level permissions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pexip solves our interoperability issues by acting as a universal bridge for all video conferencing platforms. It lets us connect effortlessly from any device, saving time and enhancing professionalism. It also provides secure meetings, supporting on-prem and private cloud infrastructure, maintaining control over data.
