All-in-One Endpoint Central: Easy to Use, Powerful Modules, and Timely Support
What do you like best about the product?
Endpoint Central is an all-in-one platform that provides all the modules in one place, from software deployment to managing software and licenses. It also supports vulnerability identification and mitigation through patch deployment, along with inventory management, reporting, and a remote access control feature. It’s easy to use, and the team always provides timely support.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, there isn’t anything we dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly, software deployment and vulnerability management are the main problems and concerns, and they are solved effectively and easily. On this one platform, both identification and mitigation are handled in the same place.
Simple to Use with Powerful Endpoint Management Capabilities
What do you like best about the product?
Manage Engine Endpoint Central is quite simple to use. Additionally, they provide a ton of capabilities for endpoint management, software deployment, patch management, remote desktop, and inventory
What do you dislike about the product?
Manage Engine Endpoint Central does not offer an identity solution by default. So, if you don’t have an on-premises Active Directory, you’ll need to manage user endpoints using local accounts. That said, it does offer integration with third-party identity providers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Endpoint management for Windows and Mac users, including patching, remote desktop access, and inventory tracking. It also supports mobile device management through Endpoint Central’s MDM features.
Smooth EC Implementation for IT—No Issues So Far
What do you like best about the product?
Endpoints are much easier to manage, especially when it comes to patch management and the endpoint inventory reporting is pretty good too.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven’t run into any issues with EC since we implemented it for our IT needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Endpoint Patch Management. We're able to ensure our endpoints are patched up to date. Remote management is made easier.
Phenomenal Automated Patch Management That Keeps Endpoints Secure
What do you like best about the product?
"The automated patch management feature is phenomenal. It takes the heavy lifting out of keeping Windows, Mac, Linux, and third-party applications up to date. The automation policies ensure our endpoints are secure without requiring constant manual intervention from our IT staff."
What do you dislike about the product?
"Because the platform is so incredibly feature-rich, the user interface can often feel cluttered and overwhelming. The learning curve is quite steep for new administrators, and it takes a significant amount of training to figure out where some of the more advanced settings and configurations are buried."
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
"The biggest problem Endpoint Central solves for us is managing a distributed, hybrid workforce. Previously, we struggled with keeping remote devices compliant and updated. Now, we can deploy patches, manage software, and troubleshoot hardware issues without requiring users to connect to the corporate VPN. This benefits us by significantly reducing our IT support overhead and eliminating the need to juggle multiple disparate endpoint management tools."
Robust Features, Needs Smoother User Management
What do you like best about the product?
I like that with ManageEngine Endpoint Central, everything is in one place, especially the application, which is very good. The OS deployment feature is also very good, allowing me to upload the OS directly from one of the computers without using third-party software. Additionally, it offers easy deployment and installation of apps. I also appreciate the application control feature that allows us to manage apps specifically installed and required for our company. Most of the features are unique and contribute to an efficient management experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the user-based deployments, especially from Active Directory, not as smooth as you would think. The user label management could really use some improvement. Also, during the initial setup, the MDM profiles were not getting assigned properly, which was a challenge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use ManageEngine Endpoint Central to manage devices, keeping track of inventories. It centralizes everything, streamlines OS deployment, and allows app control, eliminating the need for third-party software.
Fast, Professional Support from True Experts
What do you like best about the product?
Very quickly support and professional experts
What do you dislike about the product?
Time to increase new updates from our side (Feature requests)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solve a lot of problems like CMDB, Tools using Remote Control, Patches, Software Deployments and a lot of Reports.
Endpoint Central: All-in-One IT Management with Minimal Ongoing Overhead
What do you like best about the product?
Endpoint Central comes pre-fitted with many modules, including OS deployment, a self-service portal, software deployment, patch management, asset inventory, remote management, reporting, and more. For our organisation, having a single tool that delivers all of these capabilities to an acceptable standard is invaluable. There is a fair amount of work involved in configuring each module to suit our specific use cases, but once that is in place, the ongoing management overhead is extremely minimal. After that, the main effort is limited to small, intermittent updates, such as adding new software, deploying group-policy-style configurations, and similar changes as needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product interface feels a bit clunky and never quite achieves a “premium” or “modern” aesthetic. That said, it isn’t a major issue, since the interface is mainly used by administrators.
Out of the box, there’s an intimidating wall of tasks that need to be set up and configured before everything is running smoothly. This includes patch management settings (auto-approving and deploying with test groups), OS deployment (creating a golden image and configuring networking for PXE boot), and software configuration plus the self-service portal. The latter has been significantly streamlined over time thanks to the addition of thousands of templates that Manage Engine have built out since we first implemented the solution.

Endpoint Central boasts an incredibly versatile toolset that addresses more thzn I can fit into a single review. It completely automates and streamlines patch management, software deployment and self-service, provides end-user workstation support and toolsets (remote capabilities, remote command line, inventory details and reporting, and more), OS deployment and configuration, etc.
For the purpose of this review I'll hone in on the end to end deployment and configuration of workstations, which has undoubtedly saved our organisation hours of otherwise menial and repetitive configurations and management.
Using the OS deployment tool, we are able to apply a golden image that already has the Endpoint Central agent installed - using this we can deploy to a blank machine with the major prerequisites already in place; i.e agent installed, domain joined, and an administrator account already pre-loaded for any situations in remote support where cached credentials may be required (Think domain-trust issues and such). This deployment allows the workstation to be already named and loaded into a specific OU in active directory.
The task configurations can vary from browser configurations, software deployments, certification installs, firewall settings, registry changes and more; but most importantly these can be grouped together into custom task configurations that can be targeted based on criteria such as the OU that the PC is based in. This allows us end to end configuration and complete targeted build of the workstation, bar the provisioning of the end-user profile, and frees up what would otherwise be hours of turnaround for staff onboarding/offboarding configurations.

Intuitive Device Management, but UI Needs Polish
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy and intuitive ManageEngine Endpoint Central is to use. It's really easy to find a specific machine and take remote control, which is valuable to me because we have to identify errors and fix them daily. With so many machines, this process could get hard, but ManageEngine makes it easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not yet found something to complain about, besides the fact that I believe the UI could look better. It could be more intuitive and faster.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use ManageEngine Endpoint Central for ease of patching, managing, and control access issues, making it simple to find specific machines and take remote control, which helps me identify and fix errors daily.

Centralized Endpoint Management Made Easy with Powerful Automation
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central is its comprehensive and centralized approach to endpoint management. It makes it easy to manage devices, deploy updates, and ensure security across the network from a single console. I especially appreciate its automation capabilities and user-friendly interface, which save time and simplify daily IT tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central is that some features can feel a bit complex and not very intuitive at first, especially for new users. The interface could be more modern and easier to navigate. Additionally, certain advanced configurations may require more time and technical knowledge than expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ManageEngine Endpoint Central helps solve the problem of managing multiple devices and updates from different places. It allows me to handle everything from a single platform, which saves time and reduces manual work. This makes my daily tasks more efficient and helps keep all systems updated and secure with less effort.
