Great Email Encryption Tool - but…
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can manage all of the encrypted emails within my organization by accessing one portal and being able to see if the encrypted emails have attachments or if they have been opened by the recipient.
Review UPDATE:
We had Virtru for along time, but started having issues where people couldn't open legit emails that were sent to a group. We also had problems with multiple users where the email wouldn't go out, we had to involve support and sometimes even they couldn't fix it. We switched to Paubox instead.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the chrome extension has a few issues and the encrypted emails don't work as expected, but that is few and far between.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confirming that all sensitive emails are encrypted and safe. Yeah sometimes if you "forget" to toggle the encryption to on, something could go out without proper encryption

they've always solved any issue i've come across. the most recent update about more security has been a big help

What do you like best about the product?
Virtu is easy to use and makes me fee confident that documents sent via email are secure.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does make sending emails a little more cumbersome, but is a small step.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to send all emails securely over our network.
Vurtru has been an easy to use tool for our employees to transfer email securely.
What do you like best about the product?
The tool is incredibly simple for our users. All they have to do is click a toggle button to protect what they are sending. Other tools required that the user remember a particular hash tag for the traffic to be protected. I also find it helpful that the tool can identify and protect sensitive information that the user may have forgotten to protect.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are limitations on Virtru's current ability to identify sensitive traffic. It can spot things like SSN's but it is easy for a user to send confidential information without the tool detecting and protecting it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem we face is the sharing of confidential information with authorized third parties and then those third parties becoming compromised. With Virtru we can revoke access after the data has been shared, reducing our risk exposure to third party business email compromises.
Easy to use and administer email encryption service
What do you like best about the product?
The service is very competitively priced and is easy to administer and manage.
What do you dislike about the product?
It took a little while to add accounts and make them co-terminus.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a healthcare organization and need to be able to send and receive PHI and PII securely. Virtru integrates easily within our email so that the users don't require training to be able to use it.
Virtru...a necessary evil
What do you like best about the product?
Virtru easily integrates with our Google platform, which is a must for my business. It is easy for my team to learn and implement during training and is not hard to remember to use on a daily basis.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, there are many things we have had trouble including having to frequently reinstall the Drive and Email extensions on Google. This is a HUGE inconvenience for my team. Also, we frequently have difficulty downloading documents from Drive that have been encrypted, stating the person does not have access. This is a problem when trying to quickly access documents.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a medical profession, we are required to adhere to HIPAA and though the use of Virtru, we are able to ensure our patient's information is kept safe and secure.
Great incryption service for business email.
What do you like best about the product?
The best and most helpful part about Virtru is the encryption service on emails. This allows me to send sensitive information pertaining to work in a secure manner.
What do you dislike about the product?
In my personal opinion I have not experienced a down side to Virtru.

Email encryption that is used daily to protect sensitive information at all times.

The thing I like most about Virtru is its ease of use. I especially like that it makes suggestions when I otherwise would not think to encrypt.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not anything specific I dislike about Virtru, but it is frustrating when end users do not know how to use it and it slows down workflow.

Protecting sensitive information about students with ease having Virtru software.
It's very easy to use for non-technical folks.
