It's also user-friendly, which makes it even better.

Grammarly sometimes over-corrects or suggests changes that alter the intended meaning. Its tone suggestions can feel generic or inaccurate in nuanced writing. Advanced features are locked behind the premium version. It also struggles at times with highly technical or creative content.

Essential Tool for Effortless Grammar Correction
What do you like best about the product?
I use Grammarly for everything; it helps correct my grammar and spelling on any tab on my laptop. I love that it's so simple and always simplifies text without overdoing it. The recommendations are really fine, and I can fine-tune the model to add words I frequently use, so it doesn't raise unnecessary alerts. Setting it up was straightforward, as it just needs permission to access tabs, and then it seamlessly monitors my writing. I also appreciate how it rephrases and finds better words, making my writing clearer.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mainly, it might get confused with mid sentences and might ask for rephrases, and then just asks for the rephrasing again and again in the same paragraph. Sometimes it feels like it's not me whose words these are. I feel Grammarly should stop overly influencing people's articulations. Sometimes keeping them as it is much better, like for personal conversations rather than in professional spaces.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Grammarly to correct grammar, spelling, and find better ways to express myself, making my writing simpler while maintaining my speed.
Enhances Writing but Requires Proofreading
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how Grammarly catches errors and provides good suggestions. The AI integration is also very helpful because you can ask the AI assistant to improve your writing, making it concise or more descriptive. I find these options great. Additionally, setting up Grammarly was very easy, nothing complicated, and even a 15-year-old could do it without any issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the style of suggestions in Grammarly isn't as useful as it could be. Grammerly sometimes enforces grammer rules too rigidly and sometime tone mismatch is found in certain right-ups. AI suggestions sometimes takes away the persoanlity if we accept the changes blindly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Grammarly to catch spelling mistakes and grammatical errors, and for minor writing improvements. It offers valuable suggestions, helping writers and professionals by identifying and correcting errors.
Fantastic, Empathetic Support and a Great Tool for Educators
What do you like best about the product?
The customer service was fantastic! I had an issue, and they resolved it within an hour. It really felt like there were real, empathetic people on the other side of the screen!
Grammarly is an excellent tool for anyone in the education field. I would highly recommend it to everyone!

What do you dislike about the product?
Most of the advanced suggestions are available only in the premium version, and the subscription prices are too high for me, as my income is limited. Additionally, the tool often converts my writing to American English, even when I write in Standard British English.
I wouldn’t recommend using the free version—it only corrects basic grammar mistakes, and around 20% of the corrections are inaccurate. It’s not suitable for writing my bachelor thesis in special and inclusive pedagogy

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Grammarly is definitely one of the paid apps worth investing in. As a non-native English speaker, I sometimes struggle with choosing the right synonyms, prepositions, or even punctuation like commas.
With Grammarly, I no longer need to switch to ChatGPT every time I write a message, email, or a longer task explanation. I can correct and improve my writing directly within the app I’m using, which saves me a huge amount of time.
Even though it costs around €150 per year, the time and effort it saves make it completely worth it. Strongly recommended!

What do you like best about the product?
I've used Grammarly for five years, and it's always been easy to use. Integrates incredibly well with whatever browser you use. Best with Google Docs. My writers and marketers use it every day. Implements with most writing software.
What do you dislike about the product?
Free version used to be a great entry-level option, but now you pretty much need the paid version. Not sure how much people trust the plagiarism tracker, but it's better than nothing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping consistent grammar and tone of voice across different writers. Making sure easy writing mistakes are avoided. We don't publish anything without a Grammarly pass.

Grammarly Real Time Writing Assistant That Polishes Everything, Everywhere
What do you like best about the product?
Grammarly has been one of the most frequently used tools for me in 2024, especially for daily writing tasks like emails, reviews, website content, and social media captions. It goes beyond basic spelling and grammar checks by helping improve sentence clarity, tone, and readability, which saves a lot of time during editing. The realtime suggestions are extremely helpful. While writing, errors are highlighted instantly with clear explanations, making it easier to understand mistakes and avoid repeating them in the future. This has slowly improved my writing quality and confidence. Tone suggestions are also useful when switching between professional communication and more casual content. Another strong aspect is its smooth integration across platforms. It works well in browsers, Google Docs, and even while filling out online forms, without disrupting the writing flow. It runs quietly in the background and steps in only when needed. Grammarly feels less like a separate tool and more like a writing assistant that helps keep content polished, professional, and error free every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that can be frustrating about Grammarly is that many advanced suggestions are locked behind the premium version. While the free plan is helpful for basic grammar and spelling, features like tone rewrites, clarity improvements, and advanced style suggestions often require an upgrade, which may not be affordable for everyone. Sometimes Grammarly can also feel a bit too aggressive with suggestions, especially for creative or casual writing, where not every sentence needs to sound formal or polished. There are moments when suggestions don’t fully match the context or personal writing style, so manual review is still necessary. Occasionally, the tool can slow down slightly in long documents or complex web editors, which affects the writing flow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Grammarly is solving one of the most common problems in daily digital communication: unclear, error prone writing that can affect professionalism and confidence. In my case, I used Grammarly extensively during the time when most of my work depended on written communication, including emails, reviews, website content, and online forms. Writing quickly often leads to small grammar mistakes, awkward sentence structure, or tone issues, and Grammarly helped fix those problems in real time. During that period, I relied heavily on the Grammarly app and browser extension. Having the tool active across platforms made a big difference because I didn’t need to copy content into a separate editor. Whether I was typing inside a website, replying to emails, or writing longer content, Grammarly was always available in the background. This saved time and reduced the stress of manually proofreading everything. Another major problem Grammarly solves is tone clarity. Many times, written text can sound too harsh, too casual, or unclear, especially when switching between professional and informal communication. Grammarly’s tone detection helped me adjust my writing depending on the situation. This was particularly useful when communicating with clients or posting public content where clarity and impression matter a lot. Grammarly also benefits me by acting as a learning tool. The explanations provided with each suggestion helped me understand why a change was needed. Over time, this improved my writing habits, and I noticed fewer repeated mistakes. Instead of just correcting errors, it helped me become more mindful of sentence structure, punctuation, and word choice. The mobile app was especially useful when working on the go. I used it frequently for quick messages, notes, and drafts, ensuring that even short content looked polished. This consistency across devices made Grammarly feel like a personal writing assistant rather than just a correction tool. Overall, Grammarly benefits me by improving writing quality, saving time, and boosting confidence. It turns everyday writing into clear, professional communication and helps avoid misunderstandings caused by poor grammar or tone. For anyone who writes regularly, Grammarly solves real world communication problems in a practical and accessible way.
