Essiential API tool for developers
What do you like best about the product?
Reliable, simple-to-use tool to store and organize API, run automation API tests.
Defining environments along with variables makes testing on different environments even more simple.

There are many features that I'm still learning about.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storing API in one place, defining the variables to test on different environments (LOCAL, DEV, STAGING, LIVE), running a collection of API calls.

If you're a back-end developer who frequently works with API, then this is a right tool to try.
Test APIs straight and easy
What do you like best about the product?
Simple and easy to use yet very powerful tool every developer/tester needs to try once for API testing. Many built in features like authentication with different schemes, easy to change request type and request headers are something which suits every bit of REST API features.
What do you dislike about the product?
Postman learn feature should be built into the app itself, currently it needs user to create an account first.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am working on web services with REST APIs and I found it very easy to check/test APIs directly from Postman. While every other service like Twitter, Facebook already provides their data in REST API format, Postman comes in handy while you are working as a REST client and needs to get familiar with API before writing actual code for client.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you use REST APIs in any form at your work then you must use Postman, there is no better way to mock as API client and test your APIs straight away.

What do you like best about the product?
Postman is the wonderful software for testing by all the APIs . This best thing is in Postman software that it is easy to use you don't have to learn so much about postman like how it works and what will it do before using it . I can easily push my apis to controller with many requests like GET , PUT , POST and DELETE . Overall postman is the best tool for me and any other java developer. I hope it will increase its functionality soon.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometime you face some issues in the postman but some type issues are eliminated by them but still we face some issues . Sometimes Postman takes too much time to push apis so we have to wait which is time consuming for any developers .In postman it is difficult to distinguish between how to use raw and body fields for the beginners.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a java developer it is the best tool for me and my team to check apis in faster manner and easily .
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are developer as a beginner or intermediate level and you wants to test your api . Then this software is build for you.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the simple and straightforward layout that Postman's UI offers.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Chrome App based version has been deprecated, thus requiring a download. Not a deal breaker though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to easily test our company's own endpoint as well as 3rd party vendor APIs in no time.

- It's free version provides limited sharing across the the team.
- You can not send multiple request at a time.

Postman API Helper a great helper tool for mobile developer
What do you like best about the product?
Easiness of API execution I like the most in postman.
Collection sharing between team is also nice feature. It will make whole team on same page.
Sharing collection using link is also nice feature.
While executing HTTP URL passing parameter was tedious task for all developers. Here easiness of passing form data parameter is works like charm.
When you want to check validation on the API side then you just need to uncheck parameter. and checked again for include it in request.

I appreciate to provide feature like environment and use of that is somewhat tedious. Sometime once all the environment variable lost their value. They are not indicating or making it highlighted to get attraction of users.
Many time it crashes while there is maximum usage of RAM. They need to look into optimisation process for handling all the crashes due to out of memory.
Because it is a tool which is helpful to developers. And usually IDE of various technology uses maximum memory. So they need to improve.

Very useful while developing mobile application. Sometimes mobile developers need some documentation while integrating API's to the application. But postman itself provides all information regarding API's
Even they are providing folder pattern so you can manage your various packages of API's and prepare collections and share it with team so everyone get notified while any changes need to take or not

Just one recommendation... Make your build stable for ubuntu. I faces maximum issues in Ubuntu 18.04.

What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to use to test API's. Once you have created one connection, you can just copy that and modify it

How it wasn't straight forward to setup an API connection. It was a bit confusing, but once it was worked it, it is very easy to use
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Testing API connections, as well as testing our own development of APIs.

What do you like best about the product?
Postman has very interactive User Interface which lets you explore itself without any kind of a special training or tutorial which is best thing for freshers. Postman is the ultimate tool for creating new APIs in any development language and also Api testing facility is also best. If I had done any mistake in API, then postman gives me exact location and proper reason that why this API is not working properly.
What do you dislike about the product?
For some big and high level projects, API is also very complex and in that case Postman is not working as per expectations and gives very disappointing results and also takes very long time to give results.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In android development, APIs are most important parameters. Without correct response from APis developer can't complete work with precision and Postman is the best solution to check API response and request.

Postman is very helpful in checking the REST AP's. We can import the collections and also import environment.

There is no downside of postman yet except the loading time of postman desktop app.
