What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use. A few ways to organize your projects. Very responsive and log accuracy. Never crashed on me.

Nothing to dislike. This is a great tool to use on a daily basis. I constantly keep it pinned on my browser.

fastest and best and rich tool used for api testing ,api data testing,json data,i used it to check the api response i used get ,put,post method for testing and one of the free tool available both in app and web chrome store.
developers are very happy with using it and its a free version so no need to spend any amount on it .it will be really helpful for the organisation as well as the developers also.

What do you dislike about the product?
sometimes frequently crash is happening at the time of bulk upload of testing of data .app also frequently crashes will testing and the sending data time is more compared to others.if the data is large its getting tough to see all data .need some kind of automation or script kind of concepts so that we can check all live data easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
im using to check any duplicate parameter ,parameter missing,data saving,values working perfectly from db or not and i used every time api in post man only.we need regular update and to lower the app bandwith also.

i would surely recommend postman to all my junior developers to have a idea on it and to explore the tool completely and i will suggest all it guys to work and have a basic idea on post man tool and i would keen to give post man to my testing team also so that our app will be safe.so pls use this tool

install time is too high. And not having a Chrome plugin is a problem in overall acceptance.

The main functionality of Postman is free and meets daily needs, but there are some tools with a number of limitations in the free version:

Editing the collection is tied to Postman, i.e. for changes you will need to import, edit, and then export to the project repository

API testing. I worked with a lot of connectors and reviewing API's by postman
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Each project has its own approaches and views on testing and development. We saw more pros than cons for ourselves, and therefore decided to use this powerful tool both for testing and for describing API requests for our project. And from our own experience, we can say that even if you do not use the testing tools provided by Postman, it will be very useful to have a description of the requests in the form of a collection. Postman Collections is live, interactive documentation for your API, which will save a lot of time and speed up development, debugging and testing at times!

Easy to use, can import and export curl. Easy to share collections with the team and can use same collection for multiple environments

Not very robust in terms of api automated testing or load testing

While developing the api, postman come in handy to call those API with authentications to test them further

The feature of saving your collections is amazing. Also, you can automate testing your requests and response which is amazing. Normal requests also get saved in history so you don't have to re-enter

Added provision of script should have been provided for automation support which I feel is missing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use postman to hit my API and check the response for development purpose. In addition, I have create automation suites for the API which run everytime I make a change to test it. The benefit it is time saving.

Setup is Simple & Intuitive . You can save your tests in collections for future use.

Make you work easier and more stable.
What do you like best about the product?
I started using Postman a few months back and i found that i can make my tests automated using the internal actions. I really love the ability to capture the values that i need in variables and use them in the next step that i need it. A easy going program that using a simple way of creating the scenarios you want, using the code editor along with the UI. In addition it provides a very big community that helps you find the answer to you question as it a applications with many users. It really makes my work easier!
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to write the code in a more powerful code editor that is using all the standards every strong code editor does in the industry. There are simple features that can be added in the editor that it will make it far more usable and helpful to the user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I managed to transform my manual tests on an automated procedures that run with a simple click and save me a ton of time for my day by day tasks!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It worth spending some time to check the features and the abilities that is opening to you about creating the scenarios you need. It will impress you by the time you will save. When you will complete the transition to Postman, you will see that it is easy to implement your tests in this environment using the code language (manly JavaScript) and the local or global variables of Postman.
My Feedback About Postman
What do you like best about the product?
I am like many features in the postman API checking tool, Especially Runner Option, pre-request and test script option to handle dynamic data in API and we can navigate to any API in the order we want.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is only one restriction in this tool, while we selecting the parent folder which contains more children folder inside the parent folder, the runner will run only the APIs available inside the first children folder
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To overcome the above-mentioned issue, they given one script to navigate to a particular API, so we can use that option.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
As a tester or developer, you can use the postman for multiple purposes like testing the APIs and do automation in whatever you like, so you can reduce your working time.

I have liked so much postman for many reasons. It is good for all the API's testing that i have created. It is fast and efficient.
It gives a option to create or import collection as a raw text, this thing i like the most. It gives us option to select method for api testing like get,post,put,delete by drop down interface. Overall i like it most.

Postman is good but sometimes it got hanged. The initial setup of postman is trouble some and takes too much time to start.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have tested so many api's in postman. I have used postman in many projects of my company. It is easy to use. I have created different collections for different services.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Postman is the tool for Api testing. I liked it so much. If you are java developer then go for it.
