best api testing software in the industry
What do you like best about the product?
the best part of this software is that we can test any API response if it get,post and others we get the data in JSON which is very easy to read it is the best tool for software developer and also google chrome extension is also available
What do you dislike about the product?
no such dislike found using this software from long time all application I develop I used to test API response with this software
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it solved my API response problem I can easily call my rest API and can check the response in it very easy to use and very fast response even we can check third party API with it

it is the highly recommended software for the developer to test the API call and must use it for checking the rest response with this tool

What do you like best about the product?
I like its beautiful interface where i find everything in the same window what i need. I found this is simple to use.
The most beautiful features i like those are it share abilities , export import , environment wise and workspace wise organizations. Its cloud feature.
I can get all my previous API and history when i log in to another device so this is a big benefit for cloud lover like me.
There are different options to check API response example : raw, pretty, web body etc.
More over role management is very interesting here.
So overall i like the best API testing tool Postman.

What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike some things which are bellow,
1. Some features are not available without log in, that is means if no internet connection exists from the begging of installation some feature will not work even if that is very usefull.
2. Loading time is little bit longer than other

I test API checks all kinds of behaviors, all kind of responses then i implement the API in my projects.
I can work environment wise like test environment , production environment. Even i can work workspace wise these features make my work organized.

Postman is recommended as this is reliable and has every single features required for API testing , software testing, validation testing. Try Postman you will be benefited surely.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that it’s so easy to make network calls and manipulate network requests. It comes in handy when learning the ins and outs of a new API.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that the capturing of HTTPS requests was as good and as easy to use as Charles.

It’s hard to beat postman when exploring a new API. It’s easy to manipulate parameters and experiment. Whether you’re a backend or mobile engineer, Postman can help you.

What do you like best about the product?
This application is the best tool for API testing. It makes API development and testing very simple for the developer. Using this application is very simple and does not require much time to learn this application. I started using this application during my under graduation and I still use this at work. This application is very reliable and I would recommend it to everyone.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of any major issue that I faced with this application. It may take some time to open and load the application and sometimes the application slows down in the middle. But I don't think they are major issues, I'm satisfied with the application.

I will recommend this application to developers who want to test their API. I think it is easy to use application once you understand how the application works, the developer will start to enjoy this application.

I would recommend to understand how to use the application and then use it. It may be confusing but the application is great and once you start using it, you'll love it!
REStful Brilliance - Postman
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to test and evaluate RESTful queries on my servers. It gives accurate messages and header response required to evaluate the services and give proper feedback to the developer.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI looks awfully sophisticated and the synchronization of user data is not very responsive

Back when I was working with Ericsson, I used to test queries for Microservices using Postman

If you're looking for a good RESTful testing software that comes off cheap and doesn't charge your organization for usage, you should definitely go for POSTMAN. It may be sophisticated to use but the vastness of features and services just makes it perfect for all organizational needs.

What do you like best about the product?
It's a free and open source tool which can be also downloaded as a chrome extension. The UI is very intuitive and it's very easy to use. My life as a API developer and a software developer would have been difficult without Postman. It's the best tool available in the market and it's super easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike is that there are just 25 request limits for collections which can be shared across thr organization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We test our built APIs using Postman. Apart from that whenever we want to use third party APIs we have Postman for the rescue.

Sometimes it lags with APIs like it crashes when I do not get a response back. Very rare though

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of development that it provides, the documentation that is automatically generated, the amazing functionality. The dark mode is a really nice feature, too. Implementing it for our organization was very easy and seamless. There was nothing too out of the ordinary when setting it up and we were up and running production wise in less than 10 minutes. I highly recommend this product for everyone and everyone who is getting into API development or thinking of implementing something similar.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI could be a bit cleaner, sometimes it's ambiguous and you don't really know which elements are doing what. Aside from that there is nothing too bad to dislike about Postman. Again, the main dislike is that there are some ambiguous UI elements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems that are being solved are mostly just the normal API development problems such as; Implementing a testing suite, being able to test as you develop for rapid API development, the ability to easily organize your API calls, to see and save the responses.
The benefits have been vast; Our API developers have never been happier with this, the ability to define different errors and see them come to life is very amazing. Programmers can add different comments to each request and add different notes depending on the query, but also show different examples of how the query might be used. All in all, this has been an amazing experience and Postman has changed API development.
