Very useful for my development work related to IoT

The ease of use, the vast set of features available.

honestly nothing. everything is so easy to use.

Testing api before starting coding. this saves a lot of time that we should otherwise be spending implementing the code to test a new API.

What do you like best about the product?
GET/POST method with all features. All Response type changing facility.

I mostly use postman for REST api test, Response is very helpful for crate pojo/modal class in java, it's save my time.

What do you like best about the product?
The interface is very user friendly and it is very easy to use tool. Really good in testing the APIs and multiple environment creation.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a great tool and user interface is also good but the interface can be improved as per the standard of 2021.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it to test and validate my api requests before using it inside of my codes. It helps me in getting the desired out put with less chances of errors and messy debugging of code.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Postman is really a great tool and once needs to be patient to learn this tool effectively. It can make your job a bit easier.

I wish setup was a bit more intuitive and it offered more with it's free version.

If we save the environment settings it changes for everyone. Also ability to integrate with mobile devices.

login / registration via social network appears from time to time, it is annoying

It allows me to make a HTTP requests in different combinations to the local server or to released version to check it more globally...

It is just the usual every day technical testing, because we always need a tool like that. It very helpful. Recommend it to everybody

What do you like best about the product?
My best feature in the postman is collections. We can simply create a collection and add multiple folders based on the APIs which can be easily shared with anyone. One more cool thing about collections is that we can add variables which can be used in all the folders inside the collection. Folders can duplicated easily where we have like same APIs which can take few more minutes to create them manually from scratch.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing much I dislike but I have one thing in my mind to bring forward which I recommend and also a suggestion to improve the product. I would like to have the customized keyboard shortcuts where user can add their keyboard shortcuts for various features in the application for which the shortcuts are not available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm using Postman for API testing. I like the application and find it very useful with all the features. Previously we used terminal for API testing which is ok but not easy and quick as Postman. From my point of view, The main benefit is that grouping all the APIs of a feature in a folder and grouping all the features in a collection for which we can create variables like authorization token, environment and headers etc. Also the shortcuts for main features is very useful for a fast pace work as developers do prefer shortcuts a lot.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend Postman to all the software developers who work on APIs and test them before they hit UI. It's easy, quick and helpful on daily basis work.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy of use to performing the testing of web services and web api.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometime it does not return the correct response status in success failure even though service is returning the correct data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its working better than the other competitor like SOAP UI while working with Web API.
