What do you like best about the product?
After using this I didn't touch any other tools, the best part is the ease of use

Nothing as such this products need some additional features

It can handle different calls get post put and how efficiently it gives the result is absolutely brilliant

What do you like best about the product?
With the help of a postman, you can edit the headers, payload and debug your code very easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. But after multiple tabs, if I don't save the API then I lost the API.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I cant imagine create a good quality API without postman. As a backend developer when I wanted to create API then always used postman for that.

What do you like best about the product?
The user interface is excellent and easy to use. We can send requests to any platform with ease and edit any parameters, which is a fantastic feature. We can keep all important APIs in one library and use them when needed. We can even explore and find other user's APIs and use them as references or as required. It has a collaboration feature where a team can work together from any location.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is expensive when it comes to the collaboration feature. The tool hangs a lot for me, and it makes the user experience not suitable. Although the tool supports all devices, it works best only with the desktop version. Documentation lacks many points and it is difficult to get around. Some more tutorials or examples must be added to improve user experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been using this tool while developing my websites to test APIs by sending requests. The results appear in a very readable way and are easy to understand. We can share our API calls with others and even share the team library.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I will recommend this to all the developers out there; this tool helps a lot in API testing and integration. It is open-source, and security is good. You can even check the previous requests made through the history option. Importing and exporting of API is very straightforward. We can automate the testing for API calls.

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing I like about the software that it is very light weight does not required much memory,you can easily make collection of your request and hit it ,you don't have manage request in certain text file ,you can also share your collection with your friend, we can also pass auth code while hitting request

There is nothing to dislike in this ,it is very user friendlly software

Right now we are making restApi, problem we are solving is that we don't have to make UI for any backend services,we can directly hit the backend independently of ui

Postman is best suited instead of soap ui you can make use of post man if you are developing rest api ,it is very light weight and very easy to use,not required any learning.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use as well as the quick setup. The user interface is intuitive, and collaborating and sharing projects between team members is very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downfall I have seen is the small number of team members you can have on the free version. For young entrepreneurs or students, this can be difficult to get the most out of a tool they can't yet purchase.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am constantly using this tool to test web service callouts and verify server responses from different tools. Talking between web applications and CRM's can be challenging to process, but this tool makes that an easy part of development.

You can create multiple environments like development, test, acceptance and test your code with ease. You can even share your collection with your team so you all can be on the same page.

Sometimes when there is very large complex payload for example multiline statements, application gets crashed.

I am testing email and sms triggers using json structure in postman. It is helping our api to work efficiently.

I like the minimalistic UI and all the options available in it.

It makes editing request body faster with intellisense for xml/json/graphQL.

What do you dislike about the product?
No complaints as such, but one missing thing would be a mobile app, it would be hefty, but I think a minimal app to look at the API would make things quicker for few people.

I am a frontend developer, and I collaborate with my team without frequent interaction through postman collection and documentation.

It's easy to use and understand. Very effective and quick. Highly customizable

It could use some improvements in working in different instances of the same request without saving it (it then reflects the saved changes in all instances)

Structure (indent) the body if your request in a way it makes it easy to debug if any issues are returned.

What do you like best about the product?
Group your APIs in the folder is the best way for easy access. Report generation is the best thing provided by Postman using which visualization of API performance is possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
Postman provides great services and so there is nothing to dislike about.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In my organization, I am creating RestAPIs, which I am testing first in postman. Folder structure helps in grouping APIs.

Creating separate collection for each environment and additional variables as global is good part
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I didn't like is we need to upgrade package to create team when adding into postman collection so its hard to add each people in collection from team
