What do you like best about the product?
Easy to make API calls. Option to include scripts helps in the automation process.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to have some sort of logging system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Make API calls for testing and resolving the issues and debugging.

What do you like best about the product?
1. The Postman is really simple to use.
2. You can test your API without using a browser with only a few clicks.
3. It's simple to set up multiple workplaces based on your tasks and requirements, and you can even share them with your friends. This means that everyone is performing the same API testing.
4. They allow for the quick and easy addition and deletion of parameters.
5. It is simple to construct a mock test for the API.
6. They also offer cloud storage for API backups.

1. The UI, especially for beginning users, may confuse and difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Postman is an excellent tool for testing various HTTP requests, and you can easily manipulate the REST request and response. It takes less time for new employees to become productive when they work with our existing codebase.
Postman is an excellent tool for testing APIs
What do you like best about the product?
Postman is an extremely powerful tool for developing and testing APIs. It has a very handy and easy-to-use feature to generate mock APIs and API documentation. This makes it very easy to design APIs. It also has good features for creating collections and environments that can easily be used to call the same APIs in multiple different environments. Postman also has great features to translate API calls into curl requests which makes it very easy to generate requests that can be called through a command line instead of the Postman UI.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that Postman sometimes has issues with SSL and VPNs. For example, when I am connected to a VPN, it does not always propagate through Postman, and the Postman connectivity fails to those endpoints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems we are solving with Postman include being able to call APIs for testing and development. It has a useful UI that makes it very easy to construct API call requests and execute them in multiple different environments. You can also run tests in Postman which makes it very easy to test APIs easily in an automated fashion. The benefits include easy and fast development and testing for APIs.

Easy interface to start with for everyone to test their API's
What do you dislike about the product?
Too many hidden features which not known to many of the users; it's better to have a tour or tips in the startup.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. WHile developing an application, it is essential to pass the correct endpoints and query parameters, so I use postman to check it.

What do you like best about the product?
The best part of using postman is it is bery easy to import collection files and configure headers, parameter and get responses from the api endpoints. We can easily define base urls and variable and use it in other api endpoints
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as such to dislike. Its the best when it comes to api testing and capturing responses
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using postman to test the api endpoints and capture responses Swift, Intix, AWS and Itrackpay endpoints. See the output in html, java, text or json format.
Testing out endpoints without a front end
What do you like best about the product?
I love that postman allows you to test out Endpoints on the Backend of an app without having to have a front-end interface built out. I also love how you can keep a historical log of all the endpoints an individual has tested to see what happened previously as well as use that information to fix bugs in an api
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the limits how many request Postman will store at a time and the layout. I would prefer a dark theme layout for postman to match the IDE Im working with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With postman, I use it to help develop and test backend API's before connecting them with the front end of the application. This makes it extremely easy to test out code we're developing in real-time to ensure data that is received it the correct data that should be going to the front end. This saves alot of headaches in the development cycle as we're able to find any bugs or issues before it reaches the front end engineers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you work on backend applications, I would highly recommend looking into using Postman in your application for testing and developing. A really good tool to have for all backend engineers!

What do you like best about the product?
Postman is an open source and useful tool for connecting to various types of APIs and also for API testing. It is user friendly to test the request and response of Rest APIs using Postman. Also, it can be used for automating API testing. Additionally, the APIs tested by one can easily be exported and shared with a peer in the form of collections and once that is imported, all request response and other parameters get imported.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Api automation feature of Postman is not user friendly and and full automation cannot be achieved in all cases. So the automation should be more flexible
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using Postman regularly in my organization for testing various Hybris APIs for my project. These APIs have various authentication like header, bearer token etc and all are supported by postman. Also, certificate authentication is supported in Postman. I test the request response of all types of API like Get, post, put, delete, patch using Postman.

What do you like best about the product?
I love Postman because it allows me to test out API Endpoints rapidly and get results without having to build out a fully functional front end UI. My favorite feature is being able to adjust the headers to mimic different browsers and request to a test server to prepare for all possible outcomes when developing.
What do you dislike about the product?
i dislike that postman doesnt allow you the ability to run multiple post request at the same time to simulate stress testing on a development server.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With postman, I'm able to test out our companies endpoints on new api features. This allows us to ensure they are working properly before connecting then with the front end application. We have found using postman to be best as it allows us to replicate how the standard user would interact with an application and prepare us to patch any day 1 bugs before they happen.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are a backend developer, I would highly recommend using Postman to test out endpoints on your application, this will save you time from developing a test UI to test it out in. It will save alot of time in your development Cycle!

What do you like best about the product?
Postman is a fantastic program that diversifies the programming language with great internal coding work that includes a definite purpose of the activities to be developed. Their support is extraordinary. I love that I always have a solution. It is very secure and contains a successful scope.
What do you dislike about the product?
It should be a little easier to understand; the learning curve is high, it requires time and patience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have achieved a lot for our web development department by creating sites with integrated and well elaborated Apis. It is brilliant and gives us many internal coding options. This program has served to foster a robust programming language culture.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend Postman to all those programmers who have the platform for web development analysis and website creation with a unique and efficient process. You must be patient because it has a very high learning curve.
Best App for Development, Testing and Managing APIs
What do you like best about the product?
Love the UI, and Features updates Postman gets regularly. Its great for API management with variables, folders and overall the mock servers for running test cases. Postman has been the core to all our backend API development and documentation. The workspaces works great when it comes to switching to different projects for personal or organizations APIs. Earlier Backend Developers faced lot of issues when it comes to managing API's and handover to Testing Teams, now its just few clicks to share the entire repositories or Interactive API docs making the whole process taking it very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The API development will be quite easier, if there could be options to switch tab navigations to a vertical sidebar instead of Horizontal, as more tabs in horizontal mode, makes it hard to switch to the tabs. Otherwise Its great overall product which is fast and provides all the features to make it easy and saves time and cost, which otherwise would eat lot of development time for the developers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We build, test and deploy our API's using Postman. Our testers get help from the test cases and the overall experience that is provided by the Postman Interface is really helpful when it comes to managing large number of APIs and maintaining their changes or versioning them. The GUI works well with any OS, making life easier for developers and testers to test them by having full control over the API's history. Overall a great tool if you want to get rid of the cli. Works well with both free and enterprise need.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a API collaboration tools for your development tool which is easy to use and accessible using both GUI and Web and performs testing automation too, you should definitely checkout Postman. It has a great community and documentation with all the exciting feature releases and upgrades. A Tool which will help your teams improve productivity and collaborate both devs with testers. Highly recommended.
