Best and fast api tool
What do you like best about the product?
-Postman is a fast API tool.
-It has various features like saving files and creating collections of API's.
-Sharing the postman collections with the team.
-Conversion of code in various languages is the best feature I like.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are options for receiving responses like JSON ,text, etc. There should be some option to set a default value for this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am creating API with Postman. I am converting my code to different programming languages also using its feature. It saves my much time as it has options to share a collection with the team.

If you are a api developer, this is the best tool for your requirements.

What do you like best about the product?
One of the best API platform i have ever used for building and using APIs. It help us to understand entire API lifecycle and thus make me more feasible and easily create better APIs and that to be in quick time.
The best think i like it allow us to store json so that whenever we are back into the app we can directly trigger to receive or send the request and response which reduce time to get results in a faster way.

What do you dislike about the product?
Overall it best app if one is designing or building any APIs. Sometime i felt like we doesn't receive proper response but for that too we are not getting any error response. This make me to troubleshoot and keep retrying.
Other than above there are more pros but not have any cons for same.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It help developers to have good understanding of APIs lifecycle in a simpler way and using this tool, one can have a better APIs and that too in a faster way. We can have test of all type of requests and have better transparency to developer to understand if something is not in a proper way as per the requirement.
This tool or can say application simplies APIs creation more simpler and faster with best APU platform for building and creating APIs.

Plenty of insights, even for a beginner.

Test data management is constructive as you can test the rest APIs with divertised test data on the go.
Console errors provide all valuable information

What do you dislike about the product?
Not much. For test parametrization we need to go for another tool called NewMan, which is a bit coding heavy. As a newbie and want to prove something in org this may not help

Running all my API tests using postman and unearthing defects quite effieciently.
Also, Sharing the json components to the peers saves helluva time in setting up.

Postman is relatively easy to use!
It has a friendly interface and is easy to learn by yourself. No tutorials are needed.
Results are shown in a separate box with many valuable details.
There is a test tool that can help stress the endpoint.

What do you dislike about the product?
If you don't take care of the collections you are using, maybe will be some time where you will become lost in your collections. I mean, you need to organize your collections in folders to know where the endpoint is that you need to test.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a QA, I need to test a lot of endpoints during a workday. Postman is a friendly and helpful tool to solve the problems that I face in this case.
Most of the time, it gives me speed in my workdays since I don't need to use a Linux Terminal to execute and expect results of an endpoint using, for example, curl.

If you are a developer or a QA you can use postman to test your APIs. Is easy and friendly to use, and has an astronaut in the toll icon :)

What do you like best about the product?
It's given me the opportunity to learn more about it because it's linked to so many APIs that I've never had trouble locating the correct API template, which is well-organized and accessible.
I've gotten rid of my excessive emails and slack channels thanks to this software. Now I'm utilising my own private API and it even gives me the opportunity to create my own Postman's API Builder from its Private API Network, and this feature has shared my excessive burden.

It's also highly complex and difficult.
I believe the reporting features should be improved so that essential aspects are not overlooked.
It does not effectively handle SOAK APIs and has limitations in the field of testing.

PostMan is the perfect tool for testing!

PostMan is so intuitive and makes life simple when trying to figure out how to test code and systems with Posts/Gets/etc. You can organize your calls well and it has very helpful error messages that help with testing.

It can be kind of confusing to figure out how to share collections or individual calls with other people, but a quick look in the documentation helps out there.

Testing systems where you need to post into a particular link. Really speeds up the testing process and it's easy to use.

What do you like best about the product?
The best I like is postman collection for API and we can share the collection. The ui is very intutive for the freshers as well as experienced persons to work upon.

There are very few things which I dislike about the postman and that is sometimes it becomes so difficult to manage postman collection and sharing it with the team

I am a software developer and many times I required to do some api integration with the app side. So the API I develop from backend I can validate it with the frontend team.

One of the thing that i dont like is the last last used API tab
Its at the top of tour screen and very hard to read if we have many apis opened earlier
