Postman: The go-to Tool for API Testing.
What do you like best about the product?
What I most like about Postman is how easy it makes testing APIs. You don't need to write code; just to check if an API is functioning, you can make requests and view the response immediately.
The most helpful feature is that it saves time by allowing you to organize requests into collections, reuse variables, and even automate tests.
The advantages of using Postman include:
1. user-friendly design, making it accessible for beginners.
2. Excellent for testing, debugging, and documenting APIs.
3. Simplified team collaboration since collections can be easily shared.
4. Support for automation, facilitating repeated testing.

What do you dislike about the product?
Talking about things I dislike about Postman is that sometimes it feels a bit heavy and uses a lot of system resources. The interface can also feel slow when working with huge collections. Some advanced features are locked behind the paid versions, which can be limiting for small teams or individual users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman solves the problem of testing and working witg APIs without needing to write extra code. Instead of building a full app just to check if an API works, I can quickly send requests and see the responses .
It also solves the problem of keeping things organized - I can save my API requests, group them into collections, and reuse them later.
This benefits me by saving time, reducing mistakes and making it easier to collaborate with my team since we can share the same collections and environment setups.

The Essential Tool for API Development.
What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most about Postman is how easy it is to use, combined with its extensive set of features. Setting up and sending API requests feels very intuitive, making it suitable for both beginners and seasoned developers.
The tool excels at allowing users to create collections, manage various environments using variables, and write automated tests, which makes it extremely versatile for many different tasks. Its straightforward implementation is another significant advantage, as it’s quick to download and start using. Additionally, I have found the customer support to be very helpful.

What do you dislike about the product?
My main frustration with Postman is its performance. The desktop app tends to be quite resource-intensive and often uses a large amount of system memory. As a result, the application can feel slow, particularly when I’m handling large collections or working on complex projects. it is used Frequency of Use in project.
Another issue I have is with integration. Although Postman integrates well with many CI/CD pipelines, I’ve noticed that some of its advanced features require a more in-depth understanding, which can make the learning curve steeper. Additionally, the limitations of the free tier can hinder team collaboration, as managing shared collections becomes more challenging without a paid plan.

The biggest advantage for me is having a dedicated workspace for all my API tasks. Rather than juggling scattered notes and commands, I can store every request in well-organized collections. This setup lets me quickly revisit and reuse previous requests, so I don’t have to rebuild them from scratch each time.
Postman also streamlines the debugging process. Its intuitive interface displays the request, response, headers, and variables all in one place, making it much easier to identify exactly where an issue lies. This efficiency has saved me countless hours of troubleshooting.
Another major benefit is how Postman addresses team collaboration. I’m able to share my collections and environments with other developers, which ensures everyone is working from the same API endpoints and data. Having this single source of truth helps prevent miscommunication and keeps our projects running smoothly.

Great tool for API testing.
What do you like best about the product?
Postman makes it very easy to test an API without writing extra scripts. The initial setup is very easy, just install and you are ready to go.We can also group the similar APIs as a collection and run then any time as they can be saved. We can also share these collections with friends and colleagues and also import external APIs. I think the customer support is also really good. It is my go to tool to test APIs everyday.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it has an initial learning curve. Also some features are only available in paid version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman helps me to check if an API is working as expected or not without writing lots of code. I can save the requests and also group similar requests as a collection which makes it even better. What i like most is the extra options which we get for graphql requests which helps us to try around different requests and get responses accordingly and also the UI for this is very easy, one click and you can update the request and get the expected response. We can also import the APIs and collections which we have not created on postman which makes it more easier to share the date with colleagues and re-use the APIs.
Very convinent to use
What do you like best about the product?
we can make any type of request in postman , that is very good thing infact you can upload file also in postman , to check the file upload route . the best part i like about postman is that you can directly import doc.yaml or anytype of doc file and then can test the route from postman , so it is very convinent to use. i use it very frequently as i am a web developer so i need to use it every time when i need to test my apis , that is i need to use it in every project.
What do you dislike about the product?
i don't find any downside till now , but i find bug frequently in postman , one such bug is that when you create a new request , then select the request type as post , patch , delete or put , still sometimes it shows as get on the left hand side request explorer (where all you request route and type are shown) so , that is the bug i have faced.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
i can easily test my api , it is very convinent to use , whenever i make my backend and want to test the routes and services i use postman , so it is very practical to use , it's ui is very imfomative and clear.
It is very useful application for api testing
What do you like best about the product?
Postman allows creation of collections and allows us to share them which is very useful feature of postman.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as of now, but this should also contain something to create cors error as this error does not occurs on postman but it appears when we use browser.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This allows us to test our apis without any dependency of Frontend development, also it provides script options which makes inserting token in every request very easy.
