What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Postman since its launch, and it continues to be an invaluable tool for me. Within our organization of around 100 developers, it allows us to manage API collections seamlessly and efficiently. Postman remains my first choice, as I find it far superior to other tools in terms of usability and performance.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have been using Postman for over five years, and it remains the best tool in its category with nothing to dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman helps us centralize our API collections, which significantly improves collaboration among developers. By having a single, organized source of truth, our team can work more efficiently, reduce redundancy, and ensure consistency across projects.

What do you like best about the product?
Postman is one of the most powerful and user-friendly tools for working with APIs. It makes designing, testing, and automating API workflows much easier for developers, testers, and DevOps engineers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Heavy & Resource-Intensive – The desktop app consumes a lot of RAM/CPU, especially when working with large collections.
Limited Free Plan – Some collaboration and advanced features (like team workspaces, monitoring, mock servers) are restricted in the free tier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We get the answer where is the issue with API payload and we can test the API.

Simple and powerful tool for API development and testing

  • August 25, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Postman makes API development, testing, and documentation extremely smooth. I like its intuitive UI, support for multiple request types, environment variables, and automated collections. The collaboration features save a lot of time when working in teams, and the ability to mock APIs and generate code snippets in multiple languages is very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Postman feels a bit heavy and consumes more memory, especially when working with large collections. The learning curve for advanced features like scripting or workspace management can be slightly steep for beginners. Also, some advanced features are locked behind the paid version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman helps me quickly design, test, and debug APIs without writing extra code. It eliminates the need for manual curl commands, making API validation faster and more organized. With features like environment variables, collections, and automated testing, it simplifies repetitive tasks and improves team collaboration. This saves development time, reduces errors, and ensures APIs are well-documented and reliable before going to production.

What do you like best about the product?
Postman is one of the easiest software to use to test API endpoints. Everything is clearly indicated and UI is very intuitive and simple. As a mobile application developer, I use it almost everyday at work to test out APIs before implementing it on the app side.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much to dislike about it. It gets the thing done as it says it would.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Implementing API straight into an application takes quite some time. So before implementing it directly, testing it out on Postman helps me get a clearer view of how to implement it later. Also, it helps in testing the API beforehand and finding any issue quickly

The best tool for creating, collaborating and testing with API's

  • August 13, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use, straightforward use, the pretty print option for the JSON response and the automatic headers, and the ability to set environment variables. Its a feature packed application that never lets me down
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. Postman has always come through when Im testing API's. It makes any API run by passing all the required headers automatically and collections are a great way to share the api's with a team member
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. The problem of Sharing API's with developers, Collections make it really easy to share whole API collections with environment variables.
2. API testing, Its so easy to setup auth and hit an api to test the response
3. It also gives you the code to run that api in a bunch of other languages like swift, Golang, C#, etc

Postman -Streamlined Our Entire API Workflow

  • August 12, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The interface feels intuitive and well-organized, so whether you’re a beginner exploring APIs for the first time or an experienced developer testing complex workflows, you can get started without a steep learning curve. Implementing Postman into our workflow was straightforward — it didn’t require complex setup, and within minutes, we were sending requests, organizing collections, and collaborating as a team.
Customer support and the Postman community have also been excellent. Whenever we needed guidance, there were quick responses, plenty of documentation, and an active user community ready to help. We use Postman almost every day — from simple endpoint checks to more advanced testing and automation — and it’s been rock-solid in performance.
The range of features is impressive. From automated test scripts and environment variables to mock servers and detailed API documentation, Postman has everything you need to design, test, and share APIs efficiently. The ease of integration is another big plus — it connects smoothly with tools like GitHub, Jenkins, and Slack, allowing us to integrate API testing into our CI/CD pipelines without friction.
Overall, Postman combines simplicity, rich functionality, and strong support, making it an essential tool in our development toolkit.
What do you dislike about the product?
The desktop app can sometimes feel heavy on system resources, especially when working with large collections or running multiple requests in parallel — this can slow things down on less powerful machines. Syncing workspaces between devices is generally reliable, but occasionally there’s a slight lag before changes appear everywhere, which can be inconvenient during fast-paced collaboration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman solved these problems by giving us a single, unified platform for all our API work. Now, we can design, test, debug, document, and share APIs all in one place. Collections make it easy to organize endpoints by project, and environment variables allow us to quickly switch between development, staging, and production without manual edits. Automated testing means we can validate API responses instantly and catch issues before they reach production.
