I like the main feature of postman which is api testing, because before postman i need to always make curl request to test my rest apis which is gives me headache.
What do you dislike about the product?
The major issue i am facing while using postman is some time it does not work with files and i am unable to send the file as a payload .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before the postman comes in picture i need to make curl requests to test my restful apis and while using making curl requests i need to pass all content-type and headers and all. which is very difficult and time consuming, postman solves my problem with easy to use design and functionality.

The Best Tool for Managing and Testing APIs Efficiently

  • October 17, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As a Full Stack Developer, I love how Postman makes API development and testing so smooth. It’s super easy to organize requests into collections, use environment variables, and automate workflows with scripts. The interface is clean and intuitive, and the collaboration features make it simple to share APIs and documentation with my team. It’s a tool I rely on daily for both backend and frontend integration work
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is that Postman can feel a bit slow when handling large collections or multiple workspaces. Syncing between devices sometimes lags, and a few advanced features are locked behind paid plans. But overall, these are small issues compared to how much value it adds to my workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman helps me save time by simplifying API testing and debugging. I can easily manage different environments, automate requests, and share collections with my team. It’s made backend and frontend integration much smoother and helps me deliver features faster with fewer issues.

Postman: My Go-To API Testing Platform for Years

  • October 17, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most about Postman is how straightforward it is to use and set up. Ever since my college days, when I was learning backend development, Postman has been my go-to tool for quickly checking API responses. It remains dependable, even in situations where HTTPS isn’t fully configured, which is a real advantage during development. The seamless integration with different environments and tools has made API testing both smooth and efficient and very easy to implement.

The addition of recent AI features has made it even easier to add payloads and authentication credentials, which has noticeably sped up my workflow. I use Postman almost every day and value its comprehensive feature set that manages to avoid unnecessary complexity. Although customer support is usually responsive, I seldom need assistance because the tool is so intuitive. All in all, Postman continues to be a robust and evolving API platform that serves both beginners and experienced users very well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Postman can at times feel resource-intensive and sluggish, particularly when handling large collections or working within complex environments, which may interrupt the development process. Although the tool provides a wide array of features, the learning curve for its more advanced functions can be quite steep for newcomers, potentially posing a challenge for those just beginning to use it.

Additionally, a significant drawback is that many collaboration and advanced features are only available through paid plans, which could restrict access for smaller teams or individual developers. While customer support is usually responsive, fully leveraging Postman's capabilities often demands self-guided learning and experimentation, which can be quite time-consuming. In summary, Postman is a robust and flexible tool, but its performance and pricing can present obstacles for certain users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman addresses the challenge of API testing and development by making the process much more straightforward. Rather than manually sending requests and reviewing responses, I can use Postman’s intuitive interface to quickly build, test, and automate APIs. It also allows me to switch smoothly between different environments, such as development and production, without the need to reconfigure settings each time.

Personally, Postman saves me significant time and effort by automating tests and enabling collaboration with my teammates. While managing larger projects can occasionally become a bit complex, Postman still helps me work more efficiently and reduces the likelihood of errors, allowing me to deliver high-quality APIs with less hassle.
