FloQast is a game changer. It is an organized way to keep our books complete and accurate.
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast is a user-friendly platform that allows us to go through close and non-close items line by line, attach schedules, and tie them to the GL. Each item is tied to our GL and forces a support schedule. It also has a great checklist that can be updated for monthly, quarterly, and annual items to not miss anything. As a reviewer, it is also helpful to have the filters so you can filter for your items to review, your direct reports items, see the status of open items, and see if it is all happening timely. There is also a flux analysis that we have built out to add analysis each month to both our Balance Sheet and Income statement. Being a public company, having a formal sign-off on every item helps with our SOX compliance.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are not many downsides to FloQast. If I had to think of one it is that I would want to customize the reporting a little more so that if I ever export the format matches what we use in Netsuite. There are workarounds but consistent formatting (ex: Account name) would be ideal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast helps keep us organized, timely, and accurate. It saves us an incredible amount of time by having all our accounts, schedules, and sign-offs in one place. I have tried creating my own close lists by person and category in the past and this is far more effective. The saving of schedules helps with version control and access issues as well. For flux reporting, all the work in setting up a template is already done for us.
I am so glad that we chose to implement FloQast - so far the experience has been great!
What do you like best about the product?
The tool is super helpful and has made my team more efficient. Customer service throughout implementation has been great.
What do you dislike about the product?
There can be some functionalities that do not currently exist but the upside is that FloQast seems to take feedback and makes changes to functionality all the time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team is more efficient - we have insight into what everyone is working on, how we are tracking overall and we can see everything in one place.
Flexible and Responsive
What do you like best about the product?
We have been able to put all our "TO DOs" into FloQast Checklists, which helps keep all of us on track + let's managers keep tabs on where things stand.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some quirky things but FloQast's support is quick to respond, and they appear to be constantaly improving. Meanwhile we have found some acceptable work-arounds.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast is helping us identify bottlenecks and giving us the chance to re-adjust schedules around them.
Best Accounting Software ive used in my Career!!!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the checklist style format and how i can see if my manager signed off or not
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be a little slow and laggy and there is issues with updating the Trial Balance

it is solving the headaches of month end close and is making things more streamlined and efficient.
Lower level accounting knowing what is expected of my performance

Knowing what is due and when. Also creates accountability.

I have yet to find anything unusable in FloQast

Not solving any problems per say but putting daily duties in order.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to navigate throughout, user friendly

Nothing I dislike as it does what I need it to do for the jobs I have

Floqast helps us able to open the data we need that is not on a desktop drive
FQ Review
What do you like best about the product?
I love how we can easily reconcile between the TB and our reconciliations. I also like having a list of to do's.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the system limitations. For example our account string is very long and we can only pick accounts. Another module needed to be created for department, entity, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visibility into the status of the close.
Wonderful tool for Managing Workflows
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast's ability to link to external folders and systems to help you manage your workflows in one spot is unmatched. Additionally, the ability to assign due dates and reviewers to individual tasks is great!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that could be improved would be visibility between workflows. For example, it would be great to see your compliance checklist and close reconciliation items in the "All Workflows" view.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast helps our team manage our Month End Close workflow seamlessly and provides visibility on where things are at in real-time to the whole team. It also provides visibility for other important compliance items, saving time and questions.
Great Product - Support Not Tailored for Overseas Market. Definitely better than Blackline.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy and clear checklists to manage close. The reconciliation connectivity to Net Suite is excellent.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overseas support is lacking. It's difficult to attend meetings at 10 pm my time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Close management is very clearly understood by all members of the team.
Best tool for tracking reconciliations, tasks and flux analysis
What do you like best about the product?
Floqast helps to track your tasks and monthly reconciliations in a very easy and efficient manner. It also helps set deadlines on tasks which are time sensitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think reminder email for flux analysis is not sent even if someone is assigned to a particular task. Also, out-of-balance recons need to be notified to the owner in real time.

It saves time and all reconciliation activity for multiple entities can be viewed in one place by management.
