FloQast! A game charger for monthly reporting
What do you like best about the product?
We currently regularly use two of FloQast's products, the close and compliance management workflow. The close workflow is a game changer when it comes to monthly reporting. We're able to reconcile all our balances regularly with centrally stored evidence. FloQast has significantly improved our month-end process in terms of quality and accuracy.
FloQast is user friendly and easy on the eye as well. The implementation of FloQast was seamless and my team and I found it very easy to switch from excel reconciliation and email checklists.
The customer support/experience team make it easy for us by promptly replying to our issues. A special shout out to Raheel Zafar.

What do you dislike about the product?
FloQast is still new in the market and are far away from their ceiling. There bits and pieces that could still improve when it comes to the tool. The user access roles could be refined to a more granular level. FloQast could do with collapse feature when it comes to the checklist in the close process
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Timely accurately financial information. We're able to reconcile management accounts accurately on a timely basis with centrally stored evidence. We also house our internal financial control environment and we're a ble to monitor our controls over the financial statements
User friendly, great for audit and month end
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to create check lists for month end, which is really helpful to keep on top of tasks and deadlines
What do you dislike about the product?
Would be helpful if it had the ability to have a work flow within a checklist task. I.e one person has a task, that directly impacts the next person being able to do theirs, so if they could be notified then they know they can go ahead and do their task without having to go in and double check
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keep on top of month end tasks. Able to let the auditors go and review all balance sheet reconciliations without the need for them to request them and have to send them over
Platform of comfort and easy access
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, compatibility with SharePoint, transparent structure
What do you dislike about the product?
Swarm of emails about status updates and changes, could be better getting a daily or timely summary.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are more transparent and accountable in the monthly closing, more knowledge and information can be shared in a comfortable way.

What do you like best about the product?
streamlined and central EOM reoncociliations

the rec report export contains to much infomation, needs to be simplfied

A helpful reconciliation tool
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to link floqast directly to the numbers within the workbook is helpful. The customer suppport is very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The implementation I think was a little more complex than our support team anticipated. We haven't been able to intregate with our legacy systems yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Floqast is a good tool for close management and helps us track our close checklist. We also use it for recons and it is an improvement from our legacy system, which was hard to manage.

What do you like best about the product?
I'm working with one company it's great. More than one is even better! Two of the major benefits we've gained by using FloQast:
1. Close status visibility between teams
2. The Organization of tasks keeps me stress free
We've been able to push the limits of our close process to be faster each month with the clear visibility that comes from FloQasts easy to use interface.

What do you dislike about the product?
Reconciliations are quarantined to 1 folder even if they relate to multiple balance sheet classifications, which leads to multiple reconciliation uploads. Not a big deal, just slightly annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The organization of team related close tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
FloQast has made the month-end closing process so much easier! From keeping up with due dates to completing account reconciliations, FloQast has everything you need! This is a software that all accounting teams should use. It has been very easy to learn how to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like that FloQast offers free reconciliation templates, but I do with there were more available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Utilizing FloQast is helping us make sure all reconciliations are done in a timely manner.

Easy to follow interface, simple design.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the Excel uploads give back errors. Also there are different settings in different places, particularly around user access, so those can be tricky to navigate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reconciliation tool is simple and powerful, makes sure that our Excel recons stay updated with latest numbers from NetSuite, and that all balances get reconciled. Checklist tool is easy to use and helps us keep track of sign-offs.

What do you like best about the product?
It really helps with the reconciliation process and managing the close schedule.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it's pricey for what it does and all the real features are invoiced extra.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It doesn't really solve any problems, it makes tasks and managing them easier but all of that can be done in Teams or other platforms for way less money
Overall a great product for managing month-end close
What do you like best about the product?
I feel that FloQast as a tool has a very clear purpose, and it accomplishes that purpose. When performing the month-end financial close, it is important to a) track the progress, b) ensure accountability of preparers and reviewers and c) be aware of any account fluctuations that occur during and after the close. To have the progression of the close centralized and measured is important to maintaining any deadline requirements as well as finding opportunities for increased efficiency in future closes. The preparer and reviewer sign-offs are great because I believe it increases the motivation of the reviewer to really open the reconciliaiton and ensure its accuracy. The live nature of the syncs is great too to see if any items have been booked to an account after the reconciliaiton has been completed. Rather than finding out the hard way down the road, any variances that occur post-rec can be addressed before the close is finalized.
Beyond the product itself, I have found every FloQast rep that I have worked with to be professional, helpful and genuinely concerned about my user experience.
After using FloQast for our month-end close, I cannot imagine going without it. If I were to ever join a company that did not utilize FloQast for close, it would be one of my initial recommendations.

What do you dislike about the product?
I'm sure it is being worked on/improved, but I found the addition of new entities to our close tracker to be a somehwat clunky process. Our rep was able to assist and get us there, but preferably this would be a process that could be handled internally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast has really enabled us to centralize our close; it has provided the file architecture to keep all our reconciliations in an easily retrievable, logical folder system as well as creating a locus of activity tracking during the close. The visualization of the close has been very helpful as well, being able to see how much has been completed vs. how much is outstanding at any point during the close provides many helpful benchmarks for tracking. As both a preparer and reviewer FloQast has made me much more efficient because my outstanding tasks are always organized and visible.
