Effortless Cross-Platform Testing with Seamless Setup
What do you like best about the product?
I use BrowserStack for cross-browser and cross-platform testing. I really like the emulator part of BrowserStack. The sensitivity feature and viewport change features are particularly helpful, as I need to test multiple applications and websites on different devices and viewports. These features really help me test my applications on various platforms. The initial setup of BrowserStack is very easy: just login and choose the desired platform and device.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile compatibility, like if I want to test an application as an emergency and I don't have access to a laptop, then I should also be able to test applications on mobile devices on BrowserStack simply by logging into the platform on a browser. There's a dependency on laptops that I'd like to be eliminated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack solves the challenge of cross-platform testing with its emulator, sensitivity, and viewport change features. It lets me test applications and websites on various devices I don't have, across different environments and viewports.
Essential for Cross-Device QA, Quick Setup
What do you like best about the product?
I like that BrowserStack keeps hardware profiles for older devices and web browsers while also staying current with the latest releases. The connections to these devices are quick and easy to use. I also find it very helpful that I can replicate issues with older browser versions without needing to downgrade my work laptop, as I can just use BrowserStack to access any specific version needed for testing. The initial setup was very easy; it was just a matter of registering and beginning to use the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
There have been times where connections to devices were a little slow or unavailable. There's also a growing number of features that are visible in the UI but are locked behind higher subscription tiers. That can get annoying, seeing consistent features that would be nice to have, but are locked to me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use BrowserStack to test webapps across many devices without needing access to them physically. It maintains older hardware profiles and browser versions, so I can test specific versions without downgrading my equipment. Connections are usually quick and easy.
Reliable Real Device Testing with Excellent Support
What do you like best about the product?
I use BrowserStack for testing applications on iOS and Android. It provides real devices for manual testing, which is both reliable and accurate on actual Android and Apple devices. I like that the BrowserStack support is very quick, and the devices function in real-time with minimum lag. The initial setup was very easy, with the major transition handled by the BrowserStack team.

Versatile Testing with Real Devices but Server Lag Issues
What do you like best about the product?
I used BrowserStack primarily for testing our mobile product with various devices. The main thing is we don't have enough devices to test with all of the environments, including operating systems, and versions in the app. BrowserStack helps us with more optional devices, so we can cover many possibilities and prevent hidden issues. I believe that BrowserStack is quite easy to run and use compared to other platforms. I am able to select devices with different versions, which really helps a lot to investigate issues. Besides that, BrowserStack uses real emulated devices, which is much better than the simulator ones. For manual processes, it is quite easy as you just need email approval and the guidelines are quite easy to use. I also use BrowserStack for Automation testing, as we implement Playwright and use BrowserStack devices to run.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think sometimes the server is quite laggy, especially from my location in Vietnam. Running a full-functioning app can be difficult and cause lag. Also, other functions of the devices like notifications, zoom, and location are quite hard to figure out and use. Additionally, on a personal project level, the price and fees are a bit high compared to my country, although it's easier when the company pays for it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack provides access to a wide range of devices and operating systems for testing, solving our device limitation issues and helping prevent hidden problems. It's easy to use and employs real devices instead of simulators, enhancing the accuracy of tests.
App Live & App Automate Make BrowserStack a Powerful Testing Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing I liked about BrowserStack is App Live and App Automate. App Live allows me to test mobile applications on real devices directly from the browser without needing physical devices. It helps me quickly check the app’s behavior, UI, and functionality across different devices and operating systems. App Automate is also very useful because it allows me to run automated tests on real devices and browsers, which saves a lot of time and improves the efficiency of the testing process. Together, these features make BrowserStack a powerful tool for mobile and web application testing.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I dislike about BrowserStack is that sometimes the session can feel slow or laggy, especially when using real devices through the cloud. This can make testing a bit less smooth compared to using a physical device. Additionally, the free trial has limited access and session time, which can restrict extensive testing. However, despite these limitations, BrowserStack is still a very helpful tool for cross-browser and cross-device testing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack solves the problem of testing applications across multiple devices, browsers, and operating systems without needing to maintain a physical device lab. In real-world development, it is difficult and expensive to keep many devices and browser versions for testing. BrowserStack provides access to a wide range of real devices and browsers through the cloud. This helps me quickly test my applications for compatibility, performance, and UI issues across different environments. As a result, it saves time, reduces infrastructure costs, and improves the quality of the application before release.
Great Device Coverage, but Small Display and Single-Device Limitations
What do you like best about the product?
I like that how we can test out the apps on all major Android and IOS phones and iPads.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few things I do not like about BrowserStack, which are, the display sometimes appears small and we need to maximize the screen more to see the tests. Also, with the basic plan we can use only 1 device. I wish we had the option to use 2 different devices at once in the basic pay.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am working as a software tester and every day I need to test new apps on various android and ios devices. So browserstack helps me testing all those apps on all the mobile devices which I want.
Easy Access to Real Devices and Browsers Across Versions
What do you like best about the product?
It’s easy to access real devices and browsers across different versions and models without relying on procuring physical devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the real devices don’t work as expected, and the chatbot itself doesn’t fix minor issues when I raise a query. Customer support needs to improve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Right now, in my current work, I’m handling around 150 mobile applications. It’s very hard to automate and run the results using a lab or physical devices. With BrowserStack parallel runs, I’m able to run all the apps within a short time and get the results. The time it takes to run all the apps has been reduced significantly. BrowserStack fixed that problem for me.
Great for Multi-Device Testing, Needs UX Improvements
What do you like best about the product?
I use BrowserStack mostly to ensure that websites render correctly and to check viewports, and I primarily use the live and automated browser testing features. The initial setup was very easy and I had no complaints. I really like BrowserStack and would rate it an 8 out of 10.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a bit slow sometimes and the UX can be a little rough. Changing browsers or devices feels a bit sluggish.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use BrowserStack to ensure websites are responsive across devices. It solves the need for testing with Tailwind and different viewports. I find the live and automate testing features most beneficial for checking browser rendering and viewports.
Easy Integration and Use with Comprehensive Logs
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of integration and ease of use. It’s also easy to identify elements, and it can run in parallel. I can get all logs as well, including network logs, Appium logs, and session logs.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn’t support Play Store accounts when 2FA is enabled. Sessions also aren’t clearing immediately after completing runs, and the device IDs are unique each time. Because of this, we’re not able to keep using the same specific device consistently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Appim Inspector’s inbuilt features, we can identify elements easily. For automation, we can run multiple test cases, which reduces a lot of time compared to using a physical device.
Essential for Mobile Pentesting, Needs More Security Features
What do you like best about the product?
I find BrowserStack incredibly helpful for mobile pentesting because it makes it easy to see network calls and conduct security testing, which is tough with manual setup. I also like how easily I can switch to multiple versions of iPhones for testing. This feature is especially valuable because we can't afford to maintain multiple phones for testing every version. The initial setup of BrowserStack was super easy, which is another plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think add few more options for security testing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find BrowserStack helps easily see network calls for security testing, making the manual setup less hard. It lets me switch between multiple iPhone versions for testing vulnerabilities, which we couldn't afford with physical devices.
