Fabulous tool for a newbie web builder like me
What do you like best about the product?
A single place to test all of the different browsers to spot glitches in my design and layout was an absolutely massive time saver for me. As someone who has not previously been engaged in the actual building of sites and the UI side, at first I wasn't able to test my layout on anything other than the devices I had around me in my office. But I am Apple-centric so I missed out on how my site appeared on the Android interface and did not know how to address this. That is when I found BrowserStack and was able to quickly spot all the things that I ought to address. I could then make the required changes and get it tidied up across all the different possible browsers. So that was fantastic. It's so weird, this was flagged as being AI generated but it is genuinely all in my own words... Not sure what more I can offer!
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not a power user as such, but I did find the time limitations on the free version were frustrating. It's not something I will use often enough at this time to justify the paid subscription though, so I had to accept these pain points as part of the free service...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cross browser testing in one place has been a huge time saver for me and has improved the quality of my sites, as they now don't look ridiculous on certain browers, which they did before I found this tool...
Essential for every website developer
What do you like best about the product?
This is really THE way to quickly test on a variety of devices. No fuss, just click which screen resolution, which device, which browser and go. A bit slow at times but for testing purposes more than sufficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes you do have to search a little longer among all the options but rather too much than too little.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a website developer, the key is to test that your websites work well on all devices. With browser stack, this is really easy to do. It also saves you an awful lot of time and money compared to owning and trying all the devices yourself.

What do you dislike about the product?
The devices can be a little bit slow sometime, I assume this is caused because you're using a live device and not a virtual machine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had a client in India complaining of a spicific issue with one of our websites, because of BrowserStack we were able to mimic this users experiance using both their location and browser. This resulted in us being able to fix the bug that the user was experiencing.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes you might get lost exploring the numerous features that Browserstack offers to find a solution for your usecase. In that case, just reach out to the customer support - the're always ready to help ;-)
Also, working in your internal test environment through BrowserstackLocal can be quite slow sometimes due to its technical implementation.

What do you like best about the product?
Browserstack likes to play bait and switch with reviews, promising 20€ vouchers and then saying "oops, you were too late" after you finalize your review.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Automate UI can be a little convoluted at times. Id' love to have more ways to group and sub-group tests.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Detecting issues in specific devices/browsers, external changes to our services caused by 3rd party dependecies, subtle integration changes that unit tests can't detect in dev environments.
It helps reduce time to detect and to mitigate bugs. It helps reduce downtime and lost revenue.
