What do you like best about the product?
I like almost all features of browser stack like cross-browser testing, multiple platform testing etc. But the best feature I liked was its ability to record and playback test execution.

I did not find negatives but it could have had the ability to store the logs, videos for a longer time period.

Recorded playback/download of test case execution, which helps in reproducing the defect.

I use BrowserStack to test website on different devices

  • March 05, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have a lot of devices I can use to see how a website works on different devices. It provides more accurate results than the device emulation provided by the browser.
What do you dislike about the product?
The same IP address is used on all devices. I haven't found a way to test a website that is available only in a specific region. Also not all browsers are supported. I can't get real device when connect from Safari.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can test my website and apps on different devices. BrowserStack has main manufactories like Samsung, Google and Apple, that covers almost all devices around the world.

Improves testing efficiency and overhead

  • February 28, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
App automate and app percy have been a huge help to my team in automating more tests and getting results faster, cutting down own our overall testing feedback loop. App Percy has recently unlocked an entirely new avenue of testing for mobile native apps as well with visual comparisons. Functional testing is still needed of coruse, but it doesnt cover subtle UI differences that could be bugs.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are very few things to not like about BrowserStack. Maybe some more in depth filters in the list of sessions to filter on mobile platform, appium driver type, or even specific appium capabilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Device management overhead for phones/OS versions/etc. Much easier than managing our own device farm and the infrastructure like machines / autmoation environments behind that.
