Solid Tool for Cross-Browser Testing as a Student
What do you like best about the product?
To be honest, the device library is insane. I'm a student, and I don't own like 10 different phones, so the ability to open a real Samsung or iPhone right in my browser to test out my GitHub Pages site was super helpful. The UI is pretty intuitive too, so I didn't even need to look at any documentation to figure it out. The partnership with GitHub that gets you the free mobile plan is a really nice touch, too. As a student, that kind of stuff matters a lot.
What do you dislike about the product?
The remote devices sometimes have a delay, especially with mobile devices, where clicking around is a bit delayed. Also, the price is high if you're not using a free plan. I wish there were more features included with the student/edu plan because many students would actually use that more if it were more accessible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used to test my website by simply resizing my browser window, which I’ve realized isn’t accurate at all. With BrowserStack, I can open the site on real devices and check how it actually behaves, which helped me catch layout issues I otherwise wouldn’t have even known about.
Effortless Cross-Device Testing with the Latest Phone Models
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about BrowserStack is how easy it is to switch between different types of devices. It makes it simple for me to test both my mobile and web applications across a wide range of devices. They also have newer models of different phones available, which helps me confirm that my application is working properly on the latest devices as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Under heavy load, the session sometimes crashes, which leads to a poor experience. The UI can also lag when testing demanding applications, especially on older models.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack helps me ensure my web and mobile applications run efficiently across multiple devices, including a range of Android phones and iPhones. It also helps us make sure our features are available to users on everything from low-end devices to high-end devices.
Fast Setup with Comprehensive Testing, Needs Smooth Navigation
What do you like best about the product?
I use BrowserStack to perform user testing on my website. I like how it makes testing across multiple devices and browsers easy, and I can even test from different regions. It's easy to use and spins up pretty fast. The initial setup was extremely easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigating between different BrowserStack products can be confusing and internal promotions can feel bothersome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use BrowserStack for testing across multiple devices and browsers, and even from different regions.
BrowserStack: Industry-Standard Real Device Testing with Seamless CI/CD Integrations
What do you like best about the product?
Browser Stack is widely considered the industry standard for cloud-based testing, primarily because it provides instant access to over 30,000 real mobile devices and browser combinations. Reviewers frequently praise its ability to catch "real-world" bugs that emulators often miss, making it an essential tool for ensuring cross-browser compatibility and a seamless user experience. Its greatest strengths lie in its user-friendly interface and robust CI/CD integrations, which allow teams to automate their testing pipelines with minimal setup. By enabling parallel test execution, it significantly slashes testing cycles, helping developers ship code faster without the massive overhead of maintaining an in-house hardware lab.
What do you dislike about the product?
The most common complaint is latency. Because you are streaming a remote device, there can be a noticeable "lag" between your click and the screen responding. This makes manual testing feel sluggish and can cause automated tests to time out or fail randomly if the connection dips.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instead of buying dozens of expensive physical iPhones, Samsung Galaxys, and PCs, your team can instantly test on actual hardware through a web browser. This ensures your website or app works for real users—catching hardware-specific bugs that "fake" simulators and emulators often miss. It essentially replaces a massive, expensive in-house device lab with a single, always-available login.
AI-Driven Test Management with Speed Boost
What do you like best about the product?
I like that BrowserStack is online and cloud-based, which is very convenient. The recent introduction of AI features is impressive. The test case management tool integrated with AI really helps us a lot, especially in writing more test cases. It is very useful that these features are neatly integrated, and by connecting with Jira, we can write more test cases effortlessly. Additionally, the speed improvement compared to TestRail and the ease of setup with assistance from the BrowserStack team are aspects I really appreciate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigating the product sometimes can be difficult for a person who has never used the product before.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack replaces TestRail, speeding up our process and scaling test cases. The AI feature helps us write more by integrating with Jira.
Streamlined Testing but Flaky at Times
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate BrowserStack's ability to instantly access a wide range of needs on a single platform. The Test Management feature helps us organize test cases effectively, and the visual UI testing catches issues that might otherwise be missed. The initial setup was simple and easy, and we received the needed support from the BrowserStack team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found that the live feature is sometimes flaky and doesn't reflect the real device infrastructure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack helps us catch visual UI issues, organize test cases, and test on real devices. I appreciate the ability to instantly access a wide range of needs on a single platform.

What do you dislike about the product?
Areas of improvement:
We are using LIVE product and while using it on different OS/platforms, if the issue is specific to specific screen size, browser stack captures users screen size due to which the issue on resp screen is not captured.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Browser stack is currrently working on a feedback that was provided by the seurity team wherein instead of installing binary on each user's machine, we can install it in a centralised server so as to avaoid any security related gaps in the approach. We would be able to integrate TCMS within JIRA so that team does not able to specifically login to BS to create/update and execute test cases, all can be done through JIRA integration.
Comprehensive Device Testing with Realistic Feel
What do you like best about the product?
I love that BrowserStack provides a wide range of devices for testing mobile and web apps, which eliminates the need to own specific models like an iPhone or Samsung. It’s great that it feels like using an actual device rather than an emulator. I appreciate being able to explore the device itself, which lets me check out settings and features beyond just the app I am testing. BrowserStack is particularly valuable because it includes devices that are less common or no longer popular, which helps us handle customer complaints effectively. Joining the team on BrowserStack was a simple process, just requiring an email invite.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel the debugging could be a bit better, if I can see console logs from the apps in the device would be really helpful. Also installing the apps takes a bit of time, but I don't think that is a BrowserStack issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't need to have a specific iPhone or Samsung model to test our app. BrowserStack offers a wide range of real devices, helping us identify bugs on rare or older devices we don't own.
An Essential Tool for Comprehensive Testing
What do you like best about the product?
I use BrowserStack for testing the Clarity SDK JS version in real scenarios. I appreciate the wide range of real devices it offers, which helps detect issues before release. I like the rich variety of devices, operating systems, and the network monitoring features that help in pinpointing where issues actually occur. The initial setup was super easy, which was a big plus for my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
While using BrowserStack, I feel like it could be improved by adding some AI features. It would be really helpful if it could review the session and provide a detailed analysis of errors and logs. Having a tab for each session that shows what went wrong, with error details grouped by types of errors, and providing a report with that analysis would make things better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use BrowserStack to test on a wide range of real devices, detecting issues before release. The variety of devices helps identify problems specific to certain ones, and the network monitoring pinpoints where issues actually occur.
