Effortless Browser Testing with Convenient Setup

  • March 23, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the convenience of testing different browsers that I don't have a real device for using BrowserStack. It's great that I don't need to get a real device or install an older version of a browser to test something. The ease and organized setup make testing straightforward. The BrowserStack Chrome extension is quite good, enabling me to open one browser on one device to test across all environments. The initial setup was easy, involving just installing the BrowserStack extension and logging in.
What do you dislike about the product?
Need more Android devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use BrowserStack for different browser testing. I don't need a real device or to install older browser versions. It's convenient and organized. The BrowserStack Chrome extension lets me test all environments from one device.

Great tool for testing the app on different devices and platforms

  • March 23, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
My team is using browserstack daily to run automation scenarios on real Android and iOS devices, as well as manual testing during features development. This allows us to cover run tests in the cloud and cover the majority of different devices and OS.
What do you dislike about the product?
The ability to test on two devices simultaneously was an add-on feature but we recently acquired it so I'm able to compare Android and iOS app behavior side by side which is a huge benefit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Browserstack eliminates the need to have too many physical devices running different OS versions to test features on. Also I can simply address some customer issues by reproducing the issue on a very specific device and OS version.

Effortless Cross-Browser Testing, Minor Performance Hiccups

  • March 23, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I mainly use BrowserStack for cross-browser and cross-device testing. What I like most about BrowserStack is how quickly I can test across different browsers and real devices without any setup. It's very convenient to reproduce issues in specific environments, and it saves a lot of time compared to managing everything locally. I also like how easy it is to switch between devices and browsers and start testing instantly. The initial setup was pretty straightforward. You can start testing directly from the browser without much configuration, and connecting it to a local environment is also simple. Overall, it didn't take much time to get up and running.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the sessions can feel a bit slow or laggy, especially on real devices, which makes debugging less smooth. It can also take time to start a session or reconnect if it drops. I've also seen occasional inconsistencies in performance, and the pricing can feel a bit high for smaller teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use BrowserStack for cross-browser and cross-device testing, eliminating local setup needs, quickly reproducing bugs, and catching UI inconsistencies. It saves time and hassle, switching easily between devices and browsers, and improving test reliability across all environments.

Real Device Testing and a Unified QA Platform That Boosts Speed and Consistency

  • March 23, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
First, the real device testing (not just emulators). Meaning we don't have to maintain our own device lab while still testing real‑world conditions, including legacy browsers and OS.. This is key for us, since we build customer‑facing portals, public websites, and native applications, in a highly regulated industry where backward compatibility matters.
Second, their unified platform for manual, automated, visual, and accessibility testing reduce tool sprawl and context switching, which improves the speed and consistency of our QA team.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform's learning curve can be steep for new users. Onboarding and configuration (capabilities, local testing, parallelization) can be complex. Pricing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly, we don't need to maintain our own device lab, which helps reduce costs.
