Arctic Wolf strikes a great balance between cost, capability and personality
What do you like best about the product?
Arctic Wolf has been a valued team addition at our organization. Our concierge team is always readily available. Our Tickets and questions are always responded in a timely manner.
What do you dislike about the product?
The attack vector feature is not available. External vulnerability scan does not show the attack vector, most of the time they are false positive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vulnerabilities exist within all endpoint devices. We can quickly identify the vulnerabilities and take proper action. It helped us save money and time for better security.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are a small to mid-size organization, Arctic Wolf brings a lot to the table. It will help you save time, money for better security operation.
A real security partner
What do you like best about the product?
Our concierge team is extremely fast and helpful and provide a high level of detail to any potential security issues that they find. They are an integral part of our cybersecurity team.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I dislike with their service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Arctic Wolf provides us 24x7 monitoring of our networks and systems.

They are a great security partner and one that I would recommend.
Great product
What do you like best about the product?
Fairly simple implementation. Great onboarding team that walked me through the whole process. Took a few weeks to be up and running with sensors and agents installed acorss the network.
What do you dislike about the product?
There has got to be a better way to do reporting than forcing me to login and download PDFs one by one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a smaller business, we didn't have the budget to start a security team. Arctic wolf is filling that void and allowing me to focus on the company.
Implementing AW Managed Risk and Managed Detection Response
What do you like best about the product?
They provide a level of knowledge and expertise that we did not internally posses.
What do you dislike about the product?
The implementation process was a little elongated. We needed to work with our Managed Service Partner and a third party hosting provider so that added some complexity and length to the timeline.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are still in our implementation phase so nothing as of yet.

What do you like best about the product?
We are already well equipped to monitor network/log activity, but we do not have 24x7, 7-days-a-week staff, so having them monitoring during our off hours is the best aspect of their services.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because we already had LogRhythm deployed, and continue to use it, we do get a lot of duplicate data generated. Maybe if there was a way for AW's monitoring to take into account what our own LR system is monitoring, that could help reduce the duplication.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having the off-hours monitoring was a concern, especially given the fact that some cyber liability insurance companies are starting to penalize you with higher rates if you do not have 24x7 monitoring. It has been good to have additional expertise beyond the couple of our own staff who are well-versed in cybersecurity monitoring.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We had a weekly touchbase with Arctic Wolf technicians for the first couple of months after implementation, then we cut that down to a monthly cadence, and now we are on a quarterly cadence. This has been an ideal approach for us.

What do you like best about the product?
Reports that immediately tell us when something happens and lets us know what AW is doing to mitigate it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't had any issues with AW so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They manage all our systems for vulnerabilities and all incoming and outgoing traffic for risks.
Artic Wolf has been easy to do business with and isa solid partner. We highly recommend Artic Wolf.

The Artic Wolf solution is simple to deploy as well as simple to manage once it is deployed--which is a why it is liked by both our sales and technical teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Artic Wolf has grown rapidly, and because of this we have changes account ownership on the technical and partner sides, many times. By the time you find a cadence, your team is changing again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to get all our data from throughout our networks aggregated and analyzed in real-time. Which decreases our time to detect something happening in our network. Additionally it helps us maintain our regulatory compliance.

We recommend Artic Wolf to other partners and regularly recommend it to our clients.
Efficient and Simple
What do you like best about the product?
The best part, so far, is how easy it is to deploy on all of the company's computers. Even the manual installation is a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times we have to manually activate Cylance. The deployment does not always registers it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We protect our assets by having CylancePROTECT monitor, block and filter any unwanted software, websites, popup and installations.
Long-time Customer
What do you like best about the product?
AW ability to block traffic from hosts if required. We also like the scanning of all of our traffic to the Internet
What do you dislike about the product?
It costs money. We wish it was free, but realize that it would not be the service it is if it was free.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We could never afford to purchase a SIEM/ MDR solution and the full-time staff required to man it. AW provides IDS, IPS, scanning of all of our traffic, and even monitors our Office 365 access.

Great next-gen antivirus product with an easy to use console
What do you like best about the product?
Cylance is an easy to configure antivirus product with a great console. The reporting is great and the threat reports are incredibly thorough. The agent is also very reliable.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think the MacOS client is as reliable as the Windows client. We had numerous issues after upgrading to Mojave with Cylance. The issue was fixed with an agent update but that took over a month.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cylance provides another layer of defense for our endpoints. We have centralized reporting and oversight with Cylance. We have also been able to tweak the security settings based on departments and users.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Cylance is a great product and definitely worth the money. You should still pair it with other security solutions (application whitelisting, limiting administrative rights etc).
