Our Silent Partner
What do you like best about the product?
We consider Arctic Wolf our silent partner. We send a tremendous amount of data to them to analyze and report back only the actionable items. We depend on them daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
We get detailed weekly reports and would like that detail on a monthly cadence.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Arctic Wolf solves our staffing shortage and provides us with an up to date Cybersecurity knowledge and presence.
Arctic Wolf!
What do you like best about the product?
Their always available to be of assistance when needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike anything. Arctic Wolf does a great job.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to alert the company of any security tickets that arise.
Great Product, Great Customer Service
What do you like best about the product?
Arctic Wolf provides valuable insights into our IT vulnerabilities and their staff is incredibly helpful, insightful and friendly to work with.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not had any issues or bad experiences with AW. They've always been responsive to our needs, especially when there were active risks to address!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
AW is providing insight into our IT exposure, recommendations on how to resolve and following up to ensure items are addressed to avoid risks
A high level of trust
What do you like best about the product?
The cloud integration has been a life-saver repeatedly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not necessarily a downside. It's more of a wish. In addition to the big providers they integrate with, I wish AW integrated with some industry specific vendors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In a nutshell, it's visibility and staffing. We cannot afford the type of security team necessary to do what they do for us.
Arctic Wolf Security Review
What do you like best about the product?
Finding security holes and correcting the issue. I also appreciate the continuous monitoring of the logs.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a significant time commitment to resolve the issues. I also wish that the agent supported the VDI environment. But I know that is coming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I said earlier, the logs are constantly being monitored.
Triage team are always ready to help
What do you like best about the product?
The triage team. The time taken to respond is wonderful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. I do not see what to dislike since we have joined
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Incident respond time has been a major help.
Gives us an extra layer of protection in our environment
What do you like best about the product?
I like the cloud sensor integration that works with our Office 365 environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
We ran into an instance of high-bandwidth use on a backup cellular internet connection, but we were able to solve it with firewall rules.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The product gives us insight/reports about traffic/events in our environment. The reporting shows information we probably wouldn't have otherwise. It is a nice additional layer to other security products we have.
AWN MDR and MR Service Review
What do you like best about the product?
AWN is a true extension of my IT organization! AWN's MDR and MR services have helped us identify weaknesses in our security framework, and we can more confidently ensure business operations knowing AWN is monitoring our transaction logs. Building both the MDR and MR capabilities internally would cost 10x+ what we pay today!
What do you dislike about the product?
Integration with the AWN Security & Operation Center (SOC) does take more focused effort and resource time than we first thought; part of that was my IT organization not asking all the right questions upfront. For example, we assumed the AWN SOC was monitoring our Cisco / Meraki transaction logs; AWN quickly remedied the situation and have plans to integrate them into their SOC framework.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
AWN SOC monitors a plethora of transaction logs and triages the events down to actionable/addressable work, which is something my team does not have the capacity (time & labor & skill) to do effectively. This allows my team to focus on the security hardening (build) while AWN takes on the operational (run) aspect.
Comprehensive solution with a single source for all log events & alerts
What do you like best about the product?
Dedicated, reliable security team who has gotten to know our environment and understands what makes us unique. Arctic Wolf doesn't expect us to conform to their offering, which makes them unique from the other vendors we compared.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a customer for nearly two years, we have not had any issues with things we don't like. They accommodate the request if we find something we would like to see in a different format.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
24x7 log monitoring and alerting is a requirement for our industry. We are a small internal IT department that would never have the staff expertise to manage a solution of this caliber in-house.
An Expensive Blackbox and Horrible Partner
What do you like best about the product?
I like the idea that ArcticWolf is a product helping SMB/Es mature their cybersecurity posture. I think in certain situations, it can be a great fit. However when compared to other options out there it doesn't measure up.
What do you dislike about the product?
We received little value from ArcticWolf. The product offered little visibility when we were using it (they claim to offer more now, but I haven't personally seen the new additions). Anything you want to look at or changes you need to make in the product must go through their engineering team. As an MSP, this is a horrible way to do business for us. On top of that, the sales and account management team is very pushy, even to the point of going around us (their "partner") directly to our clients because we weren't "moving fast enough" for them. I'm sure their impending IPO has a ton to do with that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were using it to solve the issue of complex cybersecurity for SMB/Es that are our clients. At the end of the day it didn't really solve that for us as we saw little value being added.
