Great automation and date tracking with easy assignment capabilities
What is our primary use case?
My office is a boutique immigration firm. We use Monday to keep track of our active cases from beginning to end.
It helps us organize our different departments and keep track of who had what case and how they are working on it. We use Monday to provide guidance on different cases from beginning to end. We also use Monday for administrative tasks and projects. We are able to organize our different departments and sort out important cases on Monday. The automation helps everything run smoothly.
How has it helped my organization?
Monday has greatly improved the accountability everyone in my firm has regarding cases. Case managers are able to quickly assign cases and we can keep track of the entire process on Monday.
We are able to see all the active cases we have on a day-to-day basis and quickly assign them if they are unassigned. We have been able to organize each department thoroughly and separate them as necessary. We also have used Monday to aid in administrative tasks throughout both offices. It aids in our office-to-office communication as well.
What is most valuable?
We thoroughly enjoyed the automation to help us see where our cases are going next. The entire visual aspect of Monday is also a great resource for our firm as it makes it easy for us to point out certain things and for our management meetings to go smoothly.
The ability to track dates and times we need cases to be completed has been of great use to my firm. Our attorneys are able to monitor and track our cases with ease every day as they please. It has greatly improved how we track out cases and hit our deadlines.
What needs improvement?
Having more integrations for different specialties that use Monday would be great. Monday is awesome as it is, however, expanding would also be helpful.
Monday should have people reach out to different heads of businesses in different sectors to see how they use Monday and create more templates and maybe even videos on how they use it so there are more ways for people who are just starting out to find more examples to see how to tailor Monday to their needs.
I met up with a specific immigration attorney who helps immigration firms organize and pull their business to more paperless solutions she introduced us to Monday and showed us how she uses it and we tailored it for our needs.

My office has been using Monday.com for over two years.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
We only used paper to "assign"/give assignments and Excel to track our cases. It was hard to keep track of who had each case and how they were doing with the assignments. The papers would also get lost in files or paper stacks, so a lot of assignments were falling through the cracks. It was hard to maintain and the switch to Monday was excellent for our case tracking. On Monday, we are able to notify those who are newly assigned to a case and track their work as well. All of our case tracking and assignments are easily visible to everyone in the firm so that nothing falls through the cracks if it is put on Monday.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
Having someone from Monday work with you on your needs for Monday is a great way to get started. It helps you see the price you should go for.

We met with an immigration attorney who works with organizing businesses. She said Monday was the best one so we stuck wiith it.

Almost Perfect Project Management Software
What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to use Monday to organize projects and collaborate with team members who share those projects with you. The new addition of sub items also helps keep the length of lists under control.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have to organize my boards either by time periods or projects but ideally, I would like to do both and the Gantt view is not what I mean. I want to toggle between them so that I can have different views of what needs doing and what is done.

Monday helps me organize many complicated projects across several clients and several partners with ease.

This is probably the best project management software out there and they are coming out with new features all the time to make it better.
Great way to organize your workflow
What do you like best about the product?
Can create separate boards for each department and link them together. The best feature is the automation! We can have things move and update automatically with minimal effort so nothing gets missed.
What do you dislike about the product?
They do have technical issues periodically which can hinder production. It also takes quite a bit of training to figure out all the features and get them to work properly.
Main dislike is that it doesn't work well as a CRM - mainly only use for workflow.

We have established a steady workflow with Monday.com. It has helped us worked together to collaborate on projects and keep everyone informed of the process for each customer.

What do you like best about the product?
It is one of the best software products I ever used till now. Monday has lots of cool features such as different views of the same board to please all members of the team irrespective of their personal choices.
Automations are one of the best features where you can automate routine tasks and notify people across different platforms.
Adding new features and hosting webinars to learn more about them is one of the best practices.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike in the product package apart from room for improvements, which I am sure Monday developers actively work on and bring to customers ASAP.
One area of improvement would be MyWork which brings data from all the boards but doesn't have different views as of now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communicating effectively across teams and domains. This software enables us to be productive and same lots of man-hours on communication and updates.
Managing projects, tasks, production, and teams becomes easier with the tools provided.

I highly recommend this software if you are looking for using it to manage tasks/teams effectively.
Works well, but can be glitchy

It is easy to organize all my leads and have a detailed list of notes and who has worked on what within the program.
What do you dislike about the product?
Once there is a lot loaded in, it can crash. Usually, it does not take long to fix it, but it is worrying whenever there are many leads to put in.

It makes getting my tasks completed a lot easier. Having everything tracked also holds the rest of the team accountable.

What do you like best about the product?
Our team has NEVER had a program, platform, or software that matched our needs like MONDAY.com! Several teams at our nonprofit have become remote since covid, and finding Monday.com has enabled us to stay organized and connected with updates and collaborate across all our projects and tasks. We have grown to use it with several departments now, which has increased our ability to be more efficient and transparent in our work. There hasn't been anything we dislike; I just have not gotten the time yet to dig into all the options that would enable our boards to be as efficient with integrations and other options. I look forward to getting to that point and taking some things to the next level.

What do you like best about the product?
I started using Monday.com with my team and then started using it myself to track my own projects. I love the main tables; I can see all of my projects and their statuses, and when I'm finished with one, I use one of Monday.com's automations to move it to the "Done" group. The interface is clean, intuitive, and easy to use. I don't know how I'd live without Monday.com!
What do you dislike about the product?
Familiarizing yourself with the software does take some time. Monday.com has so many different integrations, features, and automation. Luckily, they have many instructional videos to help you out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Monday.com for project management and planning. Using the software also helps our team stay aligned on what everyone is working on. The clean and simple interface allows me to focus on priority projects, but I also am aware of future projects.

Monday.com is very user-friendly and shows a holistic view of your teams' projects. We like how we can add updates to an item if we want to provide more context. Monday.com allows you to be as detailed as you wish.

Monday.com is the tool you need for project management! The features are well thoughout and make it easy to collaborate with others. They continue to build out new features, and offer Pro Tips. Highly recommend!

It can be a bit difficult to train new users on the many features and ways to set up the project boards.
