Monday transformed our project management from chaos to clarity

What do you like best about the product?
My small design team had a highly positive experience implementing Monday as our project and design management software. The platform provided us with a seamless and efficient workflow, allowing us to collaborate effectively and complete projects on time.

We found it easy to navigate and customize according to our team's specific needs. The ability to create custom boards streamlined our project management process, enabling us to stay organized and track progress effortlessly.

The collaborative nature of Monday was a game-changer for our team. We appreciated the real-time updates and notifications, which kept everyone informed about project changes and deadlines. The option to assign tasks, leave comments, and tag team members within the platform greatly enhanced our communication and coordination efforts.

Another aspect we found valuable, especially as designers, was the visual nature of Monday (something about competitors, like Asana, felt way too visually busy and clustered). The ability to upload and share files directly on the platform, as well as create visual project timelines, boosted our productivity and ensured everyone was on the same page.

Monday's integrations with other tools we use such as Adobe CS and Slack provided us with a seamless workflow, eliminating the need for constant switching between applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
One aspect that could be improved is a more seamless integration of different workspaces and boards. Currently, the process of integrating multiple workspaces can be confusing and lacks clarity. Simplifying the integration process and providing clearer instructions would greatly improve the user experience and make it easier for teams to collaborate seamlessly across different projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlining Project Management: Monday solves the problem of scattered project information by providing a centralized platform where our team can access all project details, tasks, and files in one place. This saves us time and effort, as we no longer need to search through various tools or platforms to find the information we need.

Enhancing Collaboration: With Monday, we can easily assign tasks, leave comments, and tag team members, promoting effective collaboration within our design team. This eliminates the need for lengthy email chains or separate communication tools and enables real-time communication and updates, fostering a more efficient and cohesive work environment.

Visualizing Workflows: Monday allows us to create visual project timelines and boards, providing a clear overview of project progress and helping us visualize the entire workflow.

Improving Communication: Monday's notification system keeps everyone on the team informed about changes, deadlines, and updates in real-time. This reduces miscommunication and ensures that all team members are aligned and aware of project developments.

Increasing Efficiency: By integrating with other tools like Adobe Creative Suite and Slack, Monday eliminates the need for switching between multiple applications.

What do you like best about the product?
Incredibly intuittive to use - no need for training or tutorials. Easily keep track of projects and move things around quickly and far more nimble than using Jira, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Linking items within boards does not work that well especially if you have a master private board and have items feed other boards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeps all current WIP organized and quickly accessible for review.

What do you like best about the product?
With monday.com, the ability to design, create, and implement specific workflows seamlessly with one platform has been most beneficial for my organization. While using monday.com, leadership has a centralized location for information and data.
What do you dislike about the product?
The features and capabilities of monday.com can be overwhelming with all of the templates, apps, and information to make the platform fit your established workflows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prior to beginning my current role, my organization used email for communication and documentation storage. There was so much segmentation among the other departments that a centralized location was the next logical step to increase efficiencies and productivity.

What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com has helped our team stay organized and on track with our myriad of projects, campaigns, and assignments. We would not be where we are right now without Monday.com.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some automations and integrations that would be helpful. I've submitted suggestions to support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had no system for tracking campaigns and projects, and now, it's 10x easier to collaborate and coordinate across multiple business sectors and teams without relying on exhaustive email chains or meetings.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to build workflows that are specific to you and automate the heck out of them is one of the "out of the box" abilities that we love about monday.com!
What do you dislike about the product?
The My Work feature is nice but once you have a lot of workflows going, it gets pretty daunting if you don't fine-tune it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
100% company-wide visibility of the work needed to get done. Also fully visibility of accountability of the work that needs to be done.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how smart it is, it moves things easily and it is simple to set up automations. It is a lot more visually appealing than most other crms
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much I can fault Monday on, I do think as users go over 15 there should be a better price per user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It accurately helps us have an overview of our tasks and helps us manage our teams effectively, and allows us to track things in real time. It makes our jobs a lot simpler.

What do you like best about the product?
Monday.Com has helped all our staff have a central place for information and work more collaboratively as a department. We manage over 150 events and services a year, plus dozens of projects, and it helps keep everything straight. We're also starting to dive into using the Forms feature to help expedite and streamline the intake of needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest downside is the limitations of the software versus the website. You cannot link a file from Google Drive from the software, only via the website. I'm hoping this gets resolved soon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've had several staff changes in our department over the last 3 years, and Monday is helping us go from an individual-centric workflow to a department-centric workflow. This helps us organize 150+ events and services a year so we don't miss any details, better serve our internal and external clients, and stay more organized as a staff.

How customizable it is without a steep learning curve

Sometimes when you are dealing with a large amount of information, the program can be slightly glitchy and slow to load

It is allowing me to track our sales data and clients giving us valuable insight and CRM

What do you like best about the product?
We are just learning about all that we can do with monday.com; learning about the automations/integrations between other apps.
The fact that we can automate many manual tasks is fantastic, since this saves our team time to focus on other more creative aspects of our work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initially quite daunting, but once you get started it gets easier. The more I use it, the more I understand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automation & workflow management. Automating many of our manual tasks results in more time available for the creative part of our work. Once the automations are checked and in place, we can rest easy, knowing that communication is going out correctly and processes are being followed.

What do you like best about the product?
The learning curve needed to utilize this program well was not that steep, meaning I learned how to utilize the program relatively fast. Some of the other subcontractors that I asked to use the program reported the same result.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since our company was so small, I got lost in some of the bells and whistles. To be fair, Monday.com reached out to see if I needed help with onboarding and getting the most user experience as possible. I was at the very beginning of our startup and just didn't have time. There were also other aspects that I needed to use but required an additional monthly fee.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management, delegation, and task management are the three of the top problems that Monday.com addressed very well. Unfortunately, I have not used Monday.com as proficiently as I was at the beginning of our startup.
