The best all in one project management tool for university research.
What do you like best about the product?
Our work manages a large portfolio of research grants within a university. Monday.com allows us to keep up with all project aspects in one place. With the easy to use project gantts, our team can keep on top of upcoming milestones and funding opportunities of our active projects. We can also create and manage all of our reporting in one place with monday.com workforms.
The automations ability make these projects easy to build upon eachother and the notificiations make sure nothing falls through the cracks.

What do you dislike about the product?
I think there could be some improvement of the workforms like being able to create tables and input graphics and headers to make a form easier for the users. I love the ability to integrate my email within monday.com but wish I had more ability to edit these emails with graphics for when I want to advertise an upcoming event.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
monday.com allows all of our instituions' research grants to live in one place. With its' use of automations and workflows, we are able to manage different timelines, priorities and reporting of our projects effectively.

Ease of use, easy to integrate and train new team members. Features mean we can have the whole company involved

Wish we could communicate to others who aren't users of the system to provide project updates,

It is very easy. User friendly. Many ways to organize projects.

At the moment I do not see issues. It has been a year.

For a global team, Monday is the best tool for our us!
What do you like best about the product?
We manage all of our activities, worldwide, everyday. Monday is the perfect tool for that. Easy and useful layout, very intuitive, amazing way to manage the activities.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am part of 5 diferent boards. It should be easier to manage the daily activities in one "personal" board, merging everything that today, is separated.

Manage my team worldwide. I love monday and its very easy to implement our strategical and operational ideas.
Fantastic tool for managing workflow
What do you like best about the product?
This is a great tool for managing projects and workstreams for both small and large teams. The automated tasks has been a game changer in creating workflow transparancy across our organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be helpful if there was a way to integrate monday.com and slack more seamlessly beyond just a communication standpoint.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday.com is helping our team solve project collaboration in a remote world. It has been key in allowing our teams to work effectively in different timezones.
The Project Management Tool for Creative Leaders
What do you like best about the product?
We use Monday for Marketing and Creative project management, and now other departments have started it to use it for IT projects, general onboarding, etc. We love the easy-to-implement templates, very helpful video tutorial center and database, instant ability to change roles and member responsibilities as projects evolve, daily bird eye's view of every project board and management of resources, files, and updates in an organized way. The automations accelerate our review proces by instantly letting us know when an item is ready to be looked at. The app is also helpful for project managers on the go!
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much we dislike about monday; I still think it's the best project management tool I've used to direct my creative team as well as work with leaders across departments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Marketing and creative work is very detailed work... Previously, managing projects via emails would result in important key details falling through the cracks or the wrong versions being used. With Monday's system, we ensure that all key details are gathered in 1 place for each project, and the Files tab ensures we only ever use the latest edited files.

What do you like best about the product?
Extremely easy to use, customize, and order data that flows well, without extensive need for programming skills.
What do you dislike about the product?
We dislike almost nothing about the tool. We switched from a Sales tool that was unneccessarily complicated and not tuned to busy lives of small business owners.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to very effectively track our clients, the key person at that client, the sales cycle and our wins and losses. The tool has been a great way for a small team at a small company to track and effectively keep up on our business development.

Previously we tracked projects on a spreadsheet. Monday.com eliminates the messyness of managing a spreadsheet.
