Swiss Army Knife Software

What do you like best about the product?
The modularity of Monday is what makes it a valuable asset to any team. We use it for several different primary functions, and are always able to find a way to make it solve the problems we're facing. Monday provides you the building blocks to build your own solutions. We use it for both internal tasks as well as some customer facing ones, too.
What do you dislike about the product?
There can be a learning curve to figure out the best way to use Monday features to solve your problem. We've been using Monday for almost 6 years now and still regularly reach out to Monday support to ask questions on the best way to approach solutions (Monday support has always been excellent).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We primarily use Monday for two things: lead management, and task management.

The ability to email boards directly has been incredibly valuable for lead management. We currently have all 7 of our store's leads flowing into Monday where we tag and categorize them all. We also routinely export them into external software for analysis.

What do you like best about the product?
Workflow automations have saved significant time crafting emails for creative approvals and edits.
What do you dislike about the product?
Inability to attach board creative to automated email

Monday.com Work Management sorts all project deadlines and automates approval process and creative fulfillment, especially with connect boards and mirror columns.

What do you like best about the product?
Work Management has significantly improved our teams communication through its feature rich platform. Integrating into everyday use has been easy with its intuitive user interface and customer support availability.
What do you dislike about the product?
One challenge with Work Management are the limited Charts and Dashboard options. Being a data analyst, I wish this feature would expand on the current available options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Work Management is solving missed communications and created transparency of projects. The departments have broken down their "silos" providing clear expectations and increased collaboration.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the flexibility it offers—in how I set it up, manage my day-to-day work, integrate with other tools, and automate processes. There’s rarely anything project-related that I can’t accomplish in Monday.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s a powerful tool with a wide range of features, and it takes time to fully understand and make the most of them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping things structured, organised, automated (where needed) and it also keeps me moving projects ahead faster than without it.

Organizational Boost with Some Setup Hurdles

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to set groups, to set tabs, and to favorite certain boards in monday Work Management. Setting groups for certain programs and people, as well as events, helps us stay organized and find exactly what we need without looking through lots of other employees' tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initially, it was a little frustrating to get everything set up. Different boards, the different people, the different tasks. It took a little while to get accustomed to how you enter the data, how it's captured, how you can access it, how you set up your boards, and how you organize them and find them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use monday Work Management to stay organized. It helps me track all the tasks that need to be completed and the time and duration for each task.

What do you like best about the product?
monday Work Management has been so helpful for our company. We have used it to keep track of schedules, dates, to-do lists, etc. So user friendly and pretty too :)
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing! There really hasn't been anything that we dislike about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is much easier to keep track of documents on here than it is to keep track of them in folders or on a drive. We can easily find documents and dates for projects.

Great tool for communication and transparency

What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com has greatly improved our internal communication by allowed transparency into specific boards, for live updates. It's an integral part of our daily work processes. Easy to integrate with other systems to allow for realtime notifications. Boards are simple and easy to create/edit. Love the Llamas.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love deeper search options. Everything else fits my needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Realtime notifications of employee terminations and status changes, fed from a Sign Now document. We are now much more efficient in processing these requests. 2. Complete transparency into New Hire Status board. All hiring managers have visibility into incoming applicants, to know where they are in the process, and anticipated start dates. 3. CRM development notes. 4. Project planning (staffing, Christmas party, etc). 5. Use the form to obtain specific, detailed requests recagarding changes needed to employee settings in CRM.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the work flows and the ability to customize each board the work for each project I have. It helps keep things organized and documented so I know how each project is going.
What do you dislike about the product?
The use of 3rd party apps can be somewhat cumbersome. I do like there are different applications you can integrate, but its also frustrating at times, when you can do a lot of the same things on excel and not have to pay or add on these features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping everything in one location and to be able to see the 30,000' view vs having to use multiple software's to do the same thing.

Small Business Must-Have

What do you like best about the product?
Monday has made managing events for our small business so easy. Everything is in one place, organized, and we all have access and can see the status. I was using a simple Excel sheet and it was driving our team crazy because I had to keep sharing it or make sure everyone had a link to it. With Monday, it's just an app and everyone has access to changes and updates. It really has been a life-saver.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like more options in terms of charts and analysis. It would also be great for integration with Google and Apple to be made a little more simple (being able to export contacts into my Apple contacts with just a click).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping all of the information in one place, organized. It also is letting me easily track revenue, types of events, etc. This way, it's easier for me to see where we are generating the most revenue-- which events are best, geographies, etc.

What do you like best about the product?
The capabilities and integrations are endless which has helped us bring all of our 3rd party apps into one central location.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is that it is very complex. Strongly recommend the onboarding program when signing up. I wish their Customer support was more helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before monday everything was monitored through emails, excel and in meetings. Now everything is in Monday.com that allows us to track progress, manage projects and give all team members visibility to tasks.
