better than comcast or qwest

hardware is reliable and easy to use

What do you like best about the product?
Vonage has all the features you need in a VoIP service. In addition, their tech support is responsive and knowledgeable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Configuring the auto attendant is a little confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I now have the flexibility of making and receiving calls when I am away from the office. I can make calls through the office phone system and the caller ID shows my office number.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You can shop around and you MAY find a cheaper price but consider the service after the sale.

What do you like best about the product?
When updating phone lines or adding a new person on the team, the customer service reps are fast, very kind and easy to contact.
What do you dislike about the product?
This may not be something that is easy to fix, but we have a minimum of people whose numbers we can block. Spam calls come in often and we wish we could limit them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy to transfer, conference and connect with clients.

some time messages are not delivering then we need to logout and login back to our application.

Quality services, Tons of options
What do you like best about the product?
We switched to Vonage from another company. Every issue that we had with our other phone company has not been an issue with Vonage. Call quality is clear, there are tons of options for our services, and our plan was catered to what we needed. The transfer to Vonage was incredibly easy and effortless. Everything is easily laid out and easy to navigate! No confusion!
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, we have not run into an issue with Vonage that causes us to dislike the service. We are somewhat new to the services, but at this time, everything has been better than our expectations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Clear communication! Clear call quality, text message ability, call recording to catch missed opportunities. The calls come through on my phone and computer, so I never miss a call.

Best pricing, quality, and customer service we have received in our past experience with other companies and our experience of seeking a new service.
Ok VOIP system, but had major pitfalls
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to use the app on my phone and have it separate from my cell phone.
I like that the bills are consistent each month. They are easy to understand and there are never any surprises. I love that I can get my voicemails in my email and never see the blinking light on my phone!

What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the items on the online portal are not always intuitive in the admin area. Sometimes it takes a little while to connect to a representative when calling in with technical issues. The phones do have technical issues like dropped calls and poor connectivity often.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Vonage Business app is great for our employees. It helps them connect with others while on the road and never miss a phone call. People never miss their messages because they come straight to their emails. It is easy to forward calls and messages. Unfortunately, calls are often dropped and there is often poor connectivity with the service.

Vonage Business is a great VOIP company. They have provided us great service and we are happy.

What do you like best about the product?
In our case, there were many improvements. The call clarity is excellent and represents a vast improvement over our prior system. The ability to load our phone books to each extension has provided a great convenience. We have implemented the mobile app which has enhanced our ability to service our clients, in or out of the office. The ability to control the outbound caller ID has been helpful, and the virtual receptionist(s) and the associated options provides us with more then we had hoped for.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initially, the wires to the desk were annoying, but we solved this problem by using POE to eliminate the power cable, which we found helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Initially our main problem was call clarity and no associated phone book. That is, no phone book directly accessible from the telephone.

The best phone system ever!
What do you like best about the product?
Ever since we switched to Vonage, not only are we saving a ,lot of money every month but we have phones with so many features and as the Admin, I found it easy to install and manage. The Vonage App for the iPhone is amazing as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Every now and then we experience a dropped call but it it far and few between.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not having a full time receptionist, Vonage makes it easy for our clients to call us and reach us without any difficulties.

Not as hard to understand as I thought
What do you like best about the product?
I'm learning the phone system and with me not being very teckie, it's a bit of a learning curve but just have to get rid of my fear of trying.... so far, so good so I'm happy.
What do you dislike about the product?
That I can't print off emails from the email screen unless I download. If you can print off without it, I can't figure out how.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Long distance.
