Vonage provides excellent solutions for startups
What do you like best about the product?
It is very flexible and it is suitable for any situation. During this COVID-19 pandemic, we had to limit our staffing and we just wanted one extension at a basic cost. They did it to suit our needs during this rough times.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I can think of. Vonage is excellent!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vonage is a great tool for our customer service team. Customers can call us 24/7 and we can communicate with our customers as well. They provide recording of calls, virtual receptionist, messaging, and voicemail as well. It's great!

Great Business Solution
What do you like best about the product?
The service is impeccable with almost no downtime in several years of use. Their support team when onboarding new employees in remote locations is phenomenal and they've been able to troubleshoot our town's rural internet system in conjunction with their phone system with ease. We love their SMS system - it makes reaching out to a guest from one platform easy and allowed us to stop using personal cell phones for work-related concerns both with our vendors and our guests.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only concern I have is the way the physical line has to connect to the modem directly due to our local internet. Not necessarily a Vonage issue but would love to see the tool shaped to help those in rural areas more - but that almost has to do more with our style of internet server rather than Vonage's service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to connect with our guests and each other while working remotely. We've also found their text service to be invaluable in this fast-paced sales world. Guests are much more likely to respond quickly to a text than an unknown phone number calling them or an email which may take time to get back to.

Admin Portal is easy to navigate and configure

I can't think of anything at the moment. Actually the virtual receptionist setup is a little tricky.

Saved allot of money vs. PBX system. Flexible for a small company of remote workers.

I would recommend this for small business on a budget

What do you like best about the product?
The feature set is excellent and ability to use mobile app, desktop app, or physical phone (or all together) makes it a very flexible solution. In March, most of our office started working remotely and we were able to pull that off without a hitch. They also offer a stellar Call Center package that no one in this price range can compete with.

Sometimes support needs some support. For most things they are fine but occasionally they do drop the ball.

Remote working has been a breeze as far as communications go

Definitely worth a look if you are interested in a wide set of features at a low price point

Vonage has made it possible to bring my office phone home during covid lockdowns

Calls occassionally drop, but not often.

Vonage has been easy to use, their customer service has been on top of all issues that came up.

Controlling all the features of the virtual receptionists and call groups can be a bit difficult. Running meaningful reports has been a struggle as well.

Vonage business is helping us stay connected while working remotely.

Make it easier to monitor Vonage users through meaningful reports that are easier to understand.

What do you like best about the product?
The system, with the exception of Meetings and the mobile app, is close to flawless.
What do you dislike about the product?
Meetings works quite poorly in terms of audio and video quality. The Vonage Mobile app is very unreliable and of poor quality.

the problems are all with Vonage Meetings and the Vonage mobile app as described above.
