Great for File Organization and Sharing, But Limited Storage Space
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can organize my files well, and share them with others while being able to limit access to viewer or editor!
What do you dislike about the product?
The storage is really small. I cannot share videos for school and work, only enough space for files needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to access and connect near Microsoft and upload any file
Great for File Sharing, But Extra Storage Costs Disappoint
What do you like best about the product?
Sharing files is all that I have ever used it for, and this function appears to work well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having to pay for extra file storage. Also I haven't ever been shown any other features so I don't really know how to comment on them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing big files is a benefit, but we also use Sharepoint for that. Dropbox is helpful for one-off information sharing though.
Reliable File Sharing with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate Dropbox for its ability to share large files that are too big to email such as audio, video, CAD files, huge PDFs, and big photos, without having to shrink or compromise them. It's incredibly beneficial for us as it allows seamless sharing as long as we have enough storage space. Additionally, the flexibility to organize files into folders and share them with different groups based on project requirements is invaluable. I also love that Dropbox offers scalable storage options to align with our needs and budget.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the process of sharing files on Dropbox increasingly confusing and not as straightforward as I'd like, particularly with the different methods such as shared folders and shared files. It often becomes problematic when sharing with others who have limited space in their Dropbox, as the system tries to add the file to their Dropbox, which could be full. This limitation makes it difficult for others to access files directly from my Dropbox. Furthermore, I'd appreciate the option in the sharing menu to allow files to be shared directly from my Dropbox without them being added to the recipient's Dropbox.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Dropbox to share large files like audio, video, and CAD files that are too big for email, allowing us to send anything we want without compromising file quality.
Efficient, User-Friendly File Sharing with Dropbox
What do you like best about the product?
I love how Dropbox simplifies the management of my documents by allowing seamless access across multiple platforms and locations. The ease of setup and use makes it a favorite for handling both business and personal needs, from storing pictures to various documents. The ability to easily share files and collaborate with others across different computers is incredibly advantageous, and it's great being able to work with Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, and PDFs all within one platform. Additionally, the convenience of being able to access my files from different locations with just a simple sign-in makes it an essential tool in my daily workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like Dropbox to allow documents to be used within the platform itself, instead of requiring them to be downloaded.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox allows me to use documents across platforms, share them with others, and access them from various locations, enhancing collaboration and ease of use.
Stable, User-Friendly, and Trustworthy Storage Solution
What do you like best about the product?
I find Dropbox incredibly easy to use and share files, which makes it the most valuable tool for both personal and business purposes. The setup process is very straightforward, allowing me to get started effortlessly, and the intuitive interface simplifies management across various devices. Dropbox’s ability to sync everything online provides me with reliable and efficient storage, enabling access to my files whether I’m at the office or at home. This is particularly beneficial when I need to work on different devices such as a desktop or notebook, and it facilitates convenient sharing with third parties. One of the standout features is the ability to check files directly in the browser without the need for installing Dropbox, though having the app installed on my computer improves the experience by keeping the folder automatically synced. The stability and consistency Dropbox offers as a trusted platform is crucial, particularly for a big company like mine. All these factors together not only enhance productivity but also bolster my trust in Dropbox as a reliable storage solution.

Excellent photo, video and document storage and sharing

I have been using Dropbox for ten years to organize my personal photos, videos, and important documents, finding it invaluable. I appreciate its ability to keep everything organized by year, which makes it easy for me to locate and share photographs, videos, and documents. The ease of use and its reliability stand out to me, as does the flexibility to set up folders exactly as I need them. Dropbox's functionality, especially in terms of organizing and sharing files, helps me a lot. I find Dropbox worth the annual fee I pay because it provides the extra storage I need. The product's value is evident in my continued commitment to using and paying for it yearly. Considering all these features and benefits, I am confident enough in Dropbox's offerings to rate it a definite 10 out of 10 in terms of recommendation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel the annual pricing for Dropbox is somewhat high, costing me about $119. With current financial constraints, especially with money being tight nowadays, a lower price would be greatly appreciated.

Secure Storage for Memories, But Limited Free Space
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy that I can securely and safely offload photos, videos and files from over the years without worrying about it being deleted. I also love how easy it is to navigate, organize & move items around both on my phone or on a laptop.
What do you dislike about the product?
I believe that we should get a little bit more free storage than what is provided. I don’t utilize Dropbox enough to pay for a monthly subscription.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Freeing up space on my cellphone and laptop devices without the risk of the hardware dying.
User-Friendly Syncing, But File Recovery Could Be Easier
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is very user-friendly, making it simple to sync or unsync different folders on your computer depending on your storage needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times it happened to me to delete files/folder by mistake, and I wished it would have been easier to retrieve them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping a huge amount of files from the past 20 years, with the possibility of "hiding" them, but still accessing the if necessary.
Reliable, User-Friendly Storage—But Pricey
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox has been the "gold standard" in secure storage for me for over a decade. I don't know what I would do without it. It is user-friendly, accessible from all my devices, makes sharing easy and is seamlessly integrated with apps like Excel and Word for Web.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest downside is the annual cost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have a remote team and need a secure place to store, share and iterate on files and assets. I need a long term solution for storage that is secure and stable. And I need to be able get to my source files in one click (e.g. Excel spreadsheets).
