Great for Small Teams, Struggles at Scale
What do you like best about the product?
The seamless syncing of files from local devices to the cloud is indispensable. I haven't found an easier way to transfer work that's more complicated than a Google doc between my laptop, my desktop, and my phone.
What do you dislike about the product?
When using it in a larger company of over 100 people, boxes and files frequently fell out of sync. Also, people with less tech savviness would sometimes share links as local file paths, meaning we'd have to translate them to find the files. Not to mention the several times that an admin had to fix the company Dropbox because somebody accidentally deleted an entire division's folder. We ultimately ended up switching entirely over to Google Drive, which offered a more seamless sharing experience at the cost of the extra flexibility of file types that Dropbox offers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I need to work on the same design files on multiple devices, including mobile devices. Dropbox helps me keep these files all in sync, and as long as I'm online I can seamlessly hop from my desktop to my tablet and back without even noticing a sync happening.

Most flexible and dependable option
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox never lets me down. No matter what type of device, network, or location I know I will be able to access my files. Other products only work with their apps or devices or make you jump through hoops to get full access. They can also be buggy and crash often. Dropbox is well known so it also syncs with a wide variety of apps and websites. Dropbox has earned my trust to work in a variety of places and conditions without fail so it is worth every penny. I can use a basic account and not feel pressured to upgrade.
What do you dislike about the product?
If I had to suggest an upgrade, it would be to offer document creation like google docs and auto save.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Access across locations and devices.

So great for an automatic backup
What do you like best about the product?
I'm a photographer who works in a shared office, and I love that I can easily access my work computer's files when I'm at home. The automatic back up system is something I've come to rely on as it's so straight forward and easy to get your head around. If I need to free up space on my computer, I can easily make something 'online only' and get my hard drive freed up.

The site is perhaps a little in need of an aesthetic update?
