Great for organizing photos
What do you like best about the product?
I love Dropbox. It allows me to organize all my photos into files and allows me to store more photos than my devices can store. Also allows me to access my Photos photos on one device instead of over multiple flash drives.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a while to upload a bunch of photos and it gets kind of costly on the upgrades
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows everybody to access your photos for projects
World's Easiest Backup for Your Computer
What do you like best about the product?
Once you get it setup, Dropbox makes backing up a breeze. It also makes it simple to share files, or to open up files on another computer.
What do you dislike about the product?
The setup is not intuitive and it's too easy to skip over folders. So you may think it's backed up, but it's not
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy backup and sharing of documents
Dropbox is great for work and for personal storage
What do you like best about the product?
I use Dropbox for personal storage like my walk-in photos for renting my condo and general overflow of photos on my phone. I also use it for work. I save a variety of files, photos, videos, and large document scans. Dropbox is always easy to use and does everything I need it to.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that I can think of right now. I enjoy using Dropbox
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps with storage capabilities and file organization.
Okay to use, but the whole 'look' could do with a major update.
What do you like best about the product?
Arguably the only place to send, store, receive large files. Everyone uses it so I have to as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's utterly hideous and remids me of the days I was using Windows 95
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Doesn't really do either, other than the fact that the poeple I work with use it, so I have to as well. It seems to be the only main option for sedning, receiving and storing large files for a group to work on simultaneously.
Best organizing tool in my opinion
What do you like best about the product?
I can access all of my files anytime anywhere
What do you dislike about the product?
Cost of the product is somewhat high I feel. It could be a larger storage for the price
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration of users
Stable and reliable
What do you like best about the product?
Synching between devices and a good cloud backup sulution.
What do you dislike about the product?
On occations upload / download speeds are slow. It takes quite a while to batch upload new files.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing business documents and ability to edit as a group
Best cloud storage system I’ve tried
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use for the Dropbox desktop app. It's like saving files to my computer. It's also easy to access shared documents without having to login to a website.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've used other cloud storage solutions, and comparatively there's nothing I dislike about Dropbox. That's why I've gone up to premium plans year after year.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox makes it easy for me to know that all of my documents are backed up, while it also being an organized and easy to use day-to-day file storage system.
Easy, reliable and organized
What do you like best about the product?
It always works as expected. Also integrated with many of my apps.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't think of anything. Maybe the requests to consider upgrading.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Offline storage, accessing from multiple devices.
Universal File Sharing
What do you like best about the product?
It is available across all my devices. It is reasonably priced.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally some files have been deleted - probably by bad synchronisation in an app. I have been able to recover the files though. I wish there was a standard folder synchronisation protocol that all apps could use and was widely understood. I wish I could see a log of what has happened to files - which device updated what. File synchronization can be slow. I'd like it to prioritise files that I have changed most recently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I need to synchronise chordpro files across multiple devices. This works, but very occasionally files went missing. I think this was down to a software issue on an ipad.
Constantly needs attention
What do you like best about the product?
I love the app, and easily accessing saved documents. Documents seem secure and I'm able to search for things easily. The document scanner is fantastic, quickly scanning multiple page documents with little fuss.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dropbox relies on an app on all connected devices and isn't quite as simple to integrate as Google Drive which offers nearly all the same benefits. A subscription to Dropbox is constantly pushed through email and pop ups and although I do pay for extra google storage it applies to my entire google account, not just drive. Also, documents need to be stored locally for quick guaranteed access (particularly if no service/WiFi is available) which is true of all cloud based services but is a drawback.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Accessing information remotely and securely, allowing me to see what I need where I need it.
