Reliable Syncing and Effortless Collaboration

  • December 11, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Dropbox is how reliable it syncs files across all my devices. I can start working on something on one device and pick it up on another without any issues. It's simply seamless and consistent, making it very dependable. Dropbox keeps my files accessible, organized, and securely backed up. It lets me move between devices without losing progress and makes collaboration simple by eliminating version issues and email attachments.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dropbox works very well for me, but one area for improvement could be a more intuitive file organization tool. An easier way to clean up duplicate or outdated files and, hence, search filters, or smart automations will also make managing a large amount of content even smoother.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox solves file storage, access, and collaboration issues. It eliminates limited device storage, prevents data loss by backing up files to the cloud, simplifies sharing without email attachments, and resolves version control problems by keeping files synced across devices.

Seamless Syncing, Highly Secure, but Pricey

  • December 11, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Dropbox stands out for its seamless file syncing across all my devices, making it effortless to pick up work from phone to laptop without missing a beat. Smart sync is a top feature, keeping files accessible online-only, which frees up massive amounts of local storage while still showing everything in the folder view. Password-protected sharing links and expiration dates add strong security for sending sensitive client files. The version history has saved projects multiple times by letting me revert to earlier drafts after accidental overwrites. Its clean, intuitive interface means there's no steep learning curve, so teams onboard quickly and collaborate smoothly. Dropbox also pairs seamlessly with tools like Slack, Microsoft Office, Gmail, and Zapier to automate workflows and centralize file access. The initial setup is straightforward, taking just minutes to install the app, sign up, and start syncing folders across devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dropbox has some limitations like higher pricing for advanced features and occasional sync delays with very large files, which can frustrate power users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox solves accessing files anywhere, keeps everything backed up safely, and simplifies sharing large documents. It streamlines workflows, saves storage with smart sync, and secures sensitive exchanges with password-protected links.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Dropbox is very fast and secure for keeping my files safe. It provides 2GB of free space which is sufficient for my personal use. The synchronization of large files is possible in less time, and I appreciate its smooth interface. I can also use it on my mobile through the app, which makes it very good for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think everything is okay if you provide some extra space more than two GB, then it is super for personal use. And for business use, it may be your other condition, but for personal use, if you provide some more space, then it is super.

Feature-Rich Storage with Seamless Integration

  • December 11, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Dropbox for being among the most reliable online storage solutions with features that boost productivity, security, and teamwork. Dropbox Rewind is incredible for undoing mistakes and recovering from file corruption or malware attacks. Smart Sync is a lifesaver for maintaining access to all my files without using up local storage, which is especially helpful on ultraportable devices. Selective Sync allows me to choose which folders are kept locally, optimizing my device's performance. File Requests make it easy to collect files from anyone, even without a Dropbox account, streamlining submissions and client interactions. I find the Advanced Link Controls fantastic for secure file sharing with features like link passwords, expiration dates, and download restrictions. The setup is straightforward, and I love how easily Dropbox integrates with other tools like Zapier, IFTTT, Trello, and Microsoft Office, making it a complete workflow system.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of Dropbox’s coolest features feel like they’re hidden behind a VIP pass. If you're on a free plan or Plus, a few of these won’t show up for you. Rewind is a tool that is normally operable only on paid plans. Smart Sync is not available in the free version. File Requests, on a free plan, count uploads against your storage. Advanced Link Controls, like link passwords or expiration dates, are limited to higher-tier plans.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Dropbox for sharing large files and collaborating with clients. It simplifies accessing files, offers storage that's cloud-based, and makes connectivity and sharing easy. Features like Dropbox Rewind and Smart Sync enhance productivity and data management without taking up device space.
