Consistent Performance

What do you like best about the product?
I need files quickly synced across multiple devices in different locations. Some of them need to be shared. Of all the syncing services I am using, Dropbox is the fastest and most reliable. No mysterious, unexplained delays. And having all the main features avaialble in the right-click menu in Windows, whether online or local, is an added benefit.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does not seem to be well-accepted by some corporate organizations. I guess all file sharing sites are suspect these days, but some IT departments forbid access. Not much we can do about that. Other than that, I have no complaints. This product is much better than the competition.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox allows me to quickly move data from the lab where it is generated to the office in another location for processing. I can remotely transfer the files and get them almost immediately. It also serves as a backup for many important files.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can save files from my computer and always have them in my cloud. As a designer, I work with big files, and often, I have to share them with my clients. I love that all my files are backed up, and I can start working on one computer and continue or finalize a file on my iPad or another computer. This is one of the memberships I will keep for years.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much I dislike about Dropbox.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing my files. Being able to have everything in the cloud and being able to upload it to the my computer when needed.

A simple function has stopped working and terrible support

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I am able to create many folders containing photographs for my clients to access. In the past this system has worked nicely.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have been a Dropbox user for at least 15 years and it was my preffered way of sharing large file photographs for my clients. However, recently one of the functions stopped working, the simple method of sharing the folders with my clients. When I contacted support they asked me to download some program that I need to set up and record some internal function and then send the file to them. I studied the instructions and determined this was way to technical for me to perform and would take up too much of my time. Basically, they are asking me to trouble shoot the problem. I had always thought it was the role of the tech company to troubleshoot an issue and not ask the client to figure it out.

I have repeatably informed Dropbox technical staff that I am unable to do this and asked if they are able to screen share and perform the troubleshooting themselves. The response is yes, but not in the elevated department in which my case has been turned over to. This higher level support is not able to screen share. I replied, asking to have my case turned back over to the support team that can help but they have not done so. I keep asking to have this fixed and the person handling the case keeps replying that they are unable to screen share. This person does not acknowledge my request to turn it over to the support that can do this. They just keep replying with the instructions to carry out the dowload of the program and how to internally record the functions of Dropbox and to send them the file.

I am losing patience with the obvious decline of support that Dropbox supplies. It is like I am in an alternate universe in which the recipient of my messages does not understand English and repeatably ignors my requests. Like a robot they just keep replying with the samemessage, I just don't get it. This is how a client for many years is treated?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Access to high resolution photographs that I shoot for my clients

Well known platform, available for most devices
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it difficult to navigate and organize. I don't find it very intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Many outside partners have a Dropbox account so it is a platform that we can suggest for moving large content files like Hi-res photos or video.

Data everywhere

What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox was super easy to setup & integrate across all of my devices. It has also made accessing & sharing large amounts of data easier than going through a drive thru for a bit to eat.
What do you dislike about the product?
For me personally, the only down sides would be when someone I would like to share data with is unfamiliar with the software and the software not having a "media player". Which would allow the seamless review of multiple audio files.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox has become a digital office space that I can access whenever I see fit allowing me to work at the pace I prefer.
