What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Dropbox for its generous initial 5GB of free space, which was a key factor in my decision to switch from Evernote. The ease of setup and the intuitive interface made the transition smooth and hassle-free. Dropbox has proven itself as a reliable platform for keeping my important documents and pictures safe, giving me peace of mind by retaining files I thought were lost. I enjoy the feature that allows me to send links to friends so they can view files I choose, adding a layer of convenience and shareability. Its long-term stability over the years has solidified its role as the perfect storage solution for me. I've been using Dropbox since it began and have found it incredibly useful for storing session files, music, and other essential items, especially for business, music, and recording purposes. One of the standout features for me is the ease and speed of setup - it was very easy, very quick, and you could easily get started with it. Dropbox is very user-friendly, making it simple to use for everyone. I primarily enjoy its capability for file sharing and serving as a reliable backup system, ensuring that my files are safe and secure. These features collectively contribute to why I continue to use Dropbox alongside other services. Additionally, its reliability is so satisfying that there is nothing I'd wish to change about it. Indeed, Dropbox aligns perfectly with my needs, making it a significant tool in my daily operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the Dropbox desktop application's handling of file synchronization problematic. When I load Dropbox onto my home computer, it tends to remove the files from the virtual storage and add them locally to my computer. This creates an issue where if I delete these files from my computer, they are also deleted from my virtual or cloud storage, which is frustrating. This behavior forced me to stop using the Dropbox application on my desktop and to access the service exclusively through the web browser.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Dropbox for secure file sharing and backup, making my sessions and music files easily transferable. It's user-friendly, quick to set up, and keeps my data safe, though desktop syncing issues led me to use it through the web browser.

I appreciate Dropbox for being a reliable platform that I have been using for about ten years, both for personal and work purposes. What stands out most to me is its ability to store and sync my files effortlessly across devices, specifically my phone and laptop, which helps in keeping everything organized and accessible. The sync improvements have been noticeable over the years, especially regarding photo syncing, which has become much smoother, allowing for a more efficient experience than it was initially. I value how easily I can share folders and files with others, ensuring seamless collaboration. Knowing that I can depend on Dropbox for all my storage needs gives me a sense of security and convenience. Additionally, I am encouraged by Dropbox's continual improvements and its capabilities in file sharing and storage, which indicate a commitment to evolving and enhancing user experience.

I find that Dropbox doesn't fully match the feature set of Google Drive when it comes to document handling. While Dropbox Paper exists, it lacks comprehensive document functionalities that I need, which forces me to rely on Google Drive for certain tasks. It would be beneficial if Dropbox could enhance its document management features to a full-scale level, similar to Google Drive, allowing me to consolidate my file management needs within Dropbox and avoid using multiple platforms.

Effortless File Syncing with Dropbox, But Occasional Link Sharing Issues
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is. You download it on your computer and it does the work. There is no need to sync anything, as it does it for you. Sharing links is also easy. I find that using Dropbox is much better than, for example, Microsoft OneDrive. For me, Dropbox is the easiest method. "Download and forget", which is exactly how I want it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the link shares can be difficult; the recipient can't open the document you've linked.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not having the same file across systems; by using Dropbox, I can access a file no matter where I am. It's synced on both my phone, my computer and another computer at the same time. I don't have to do any extra steps for it to work: it just works.

I love how Dropbox makes it unbelievably easy to send and receive large audio files. Setting up a folder for music, putting it in Dropbox, and sharing it with someone is straightforward and quick. Its intuitive interface means I don't have to learn a lot of technical stuff to use it effectively. I've been using Dropbox for over ten years, mainly for sharing songs from my studio with others and occasionally storing important documents to access them from multiple devices. This ability to access files from all my devices immediately is something I greatly appreciate. Additionally, I find Dropbox's reliability impressive; everything works smoothly without any complications or problems. I initially started using it because I needed a solution for sending big files and was intrigued by how well Dropbox performed compared to other options. I enjoy that I can put QuickBooks backups in Dropbox too. Its ease of use, reliability, and ability to synchronize across multiple devices are key features that make me continue using and recommending Dropbox to others.
