Great at data storage, but lacking in collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
It's simple to use. Everything follows logical folder structure and it's very simple to control permissioning and sharing for internal/external parties.I appreciate the version control capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest issue is collaboration and simultaneous editing with peers. I understand this is not the main focus of Dropbox, but competitors like Google Drive and Microsoft Teams have this feature. I can open PowerPoint and Excel on my desktop and save in Dropbox, but I run into editing conflicts with peers. This means I create a v1 to vX versions of a file, leaving me with a ton of archived work. Sometimes it's just easier to use Google or Teams where I can work on a single document with someone else at the same time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem is solves is cloud data storage. I work in a team of 3 and it's helpful to have all of our documents hosted in a single place.
Best in class file storing and sharing cloud platform

Dropbox has maintained well balance between its free and paid customer, it is free of drawbacks. Basically its an excellent service,so no question of any dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used Dropbox to store files specially from my website as it can be very easily be connected to WordPress. These files can then be transferred to the concerned departments without any hassle.
Great place to store and share documents and files
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is user-friendly tool for storing and sharing files that are too large for gmail. I use a laptop supplied whatever company I am working for, so Dropbox has become kind of a central repository for personal files.
It is also easy enough to use that when I share something on Dropbox with a non-Dropbox user, they are able to figure out how to set up an account.

What do you dislike about the product?
Since I like to share files on Dropbox, it would be nice to have a chat feature so I could discuss the file that I am sharing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox solves the attachment limit on gmail, and the issue that I consistently change laptops so it is a nice central repository for personal files I want to keep.
Dropbox has a lot of pros and cons
What do you like best about the product?
I love that its easy to upload and create folders to organize my stuff. I shoot video so i have a lot of big sized files that need a place to live. I like how its integrated in so many apps.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how it's very confusing to share with people sometimes. I also don't like that if I send them a big folder of files, it has to zip the files instead of downloading them individually (unless you click each one).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instead of sending hard drives back and forth, my company can use Dropbox to send large video files.
Great place for files
What do you like best about the product?
Upsides are you can upload any documents for other employees to review. You can also create links to share. It is easy to use and user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Downside would be having to create a login when viewing the files.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sending links to other departments and to store important information
Simple and easy file sharing!
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best is that Dropbox is fast and reliable. It is also easy to use and navigate. Dropbox also has great features, such as; file sharing and content collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside of Dropbox is that uploading bigger files take longer, so that's something that should be considered improving.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest benefit of Dropbox is having access to my files anywhere. Also, I like the fact that my files are easily shared with others. This makes it easy to collaborate and share my content with others.
Fairly good file share and back up software.
What do you like best about the product?
Pretty easy to sue and instal. Prettyy easy to share and set up controls.
What do you dislike about the product?
No real connection to other apps. Bad at reminding to share when required compared to other apps
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had a problem of sharing files and documents between colleagues. We did not require online updates at the time
Dropbox - an easy way to organize and share files
What do you like best about the product?
The navigation interface is much better and easier to use than it's competitors. Quick link sharing and uploads make workflow that much better.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest downfall of dropbox is the price - compared to Google Drive which gives you a good amount of free space - Dropbox quickly forces you into a paid plan. The pros much outweigh the cons here.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
File management between our team and clients. We use it for both internal organization and client facing. Rather than emailing files and having them get lost in hundreds of email strings - we can just send a share link to our client where they can upload or download what is needed.
Dropbox: One of the best cloud storage
What do you like best about the product?
I like most of the features of Dropbox but the best features are Sync Folder,App Centre, Smart Sync. It easy to access, edit & implement straight from cloud storage. I use dropbox frequently as it can be accessed from both laptop and mobile devices anytime and from anywhere. Customer support are also responsive. Implementation is also easy from dropbox with the help of Microsoft and Google Workspaces support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dropbox is one of the big cloud storage. Previously Dropbox had a data breach in 2018, so privacy was a concern that I dislike about it. But they don't any collected data to the advertisers like Google & Microsoft.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox is helping me to access files from anywhere and it is easy to edit on the go with the help of integration with Microsoft Office Workspaces. After using Dropbox for 3 months, I am much benefitted from it. The new features also saving my limited physical stroage. Though I can access all the files anytime on the go.
Best Online Storage for Documents
What do you like best about the product?
As a business professional, Dropbox has been indispensable to my workflow. Its robust file synchronization ensures my team and I can access critical documents on the go, streamlining collaboration. Sharing files and folders with colleagues is effortless, making teamwork efficient and productive. The enhanced security features provide peace of mind, knowing our sensitive data is well-protected. Dropbox Business has become an integral part of our daily operations, boosting productivity and facilitating seamless communication within our organization
What do you dislike about the product?
While Dropbox has its merits, there are two aspects that I find less than ideal for business use. Firstly, the pricing for larger teams can be quite steep, and it can add up quickly as you scale your organization. Secondly, while the collaborative features are helpful, I've encountered occasional syncing issues that have caused some hiccups in our workflow. Despite these drawbacks, Dropbox remains a valuable tool for file storage and sharing in our business
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been using Dropbox for a while now, and the biggest problem it solves for me is the sharing of files currently working on with my colleagues. Using it, we all work on the same work together and can edit and transform each other's work easily.
