Dropbox has never failed me!!

  • November 29, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love Dropbox's ability to integrate with my desktop. I've never lost one file since I've been using it for over 8 years. I love the collaboration tools where clients can tag, highlight and comment.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the desktop view on the internet could be a little more user friendly and updated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When I deliver PDFs of my work, clients can easily use my shared Dropbox link to highlight specific areas so I can see what they're talking about! So much easier and precise than them listing them for me.

Not a fan

What do you like best about the product?
Important to have a way to share large files.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have always found Dropbox to be somewhat cumbersome to use. Also they apparently charge for both sides of the transaction. If you send me a file it seemes they debit my account and debit your account. Clients who are not very tech savy were always reluctant to use this and there are many easier to use and less expensive options today.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I mostly used Dropbox to share and transfer large files.

What do you like best about the product?
It's User Interface and ease of access to file storage is nice
What do you dislike about the product?
It's the same file storage again when comes to free version.
This may garner the user's attention though but it makes them a bit disappointing that they have to get into subscribed version to access more storage
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox is one of nicest tools around.
It facilitates multi device login so that we can access the docs seamlessly and it's a reliable one.

The one thing that dropbox solves for me is sharing the finalised content with the clients regarding the product promotions. It's easy for the client also to review from their side and provide review for it.

What do you like best about the product?
Cloud services with collaboration between teams, the ease of use and number of features.
What do you dislike about the product?
Up to date, I have no negative comments about this product and its use on a daily basis.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Syncing documents, folders, and more, and having the opportunity to provide access, edit, and more features to different users across the organization. With several files being worked on across different locations, Dropbox makes our life easier every single day. It notifies us when changes have been made, and keeps data at the blink of an eye for all of our members.

Alternative of Google cloud or space and Data store

  • November 16, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
*File storage. Anytime/anywhere access to files. ...
*Advanced data protection: Version history and file recovery.
*Advanced sharing permissions. ...
*Advanced productivity tools: Dropbox Paper. File locking. ...
Team Folders: Content owned by a group rather than an individual.
*No satey issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
It uses AES-256 file encryption once your data is within its network. For an extra security layer, it uses two-factor authentication. A significant disadvantage of Dropbox is that when you are uploading files or information to the cloud-based storage system, it does not scan for viruses before they begin to upload
*Most often used to drop any file.
*Sometimes takes longer time than expected to upload a file.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Share files.
Store and organize.
Sync your devices.
Protect and secure data.
Connect remote teams.
Keep work moving.
Always-on backup.
Dropbox just edges out Google Drive based on security, but it also offers slightly easier file sharing and faster syncing, which make it a better service, particularly for those who collaborate on a lot of documents.
