What do you like best about the product?
I like that Dropbox is user-friendly and cost-efficient. I love the fact that you can make your own folders, which makes naming and sharing easy. The initial setup was very easy, and the customer service is very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really don't have any suggestions. I think Dropbox works very well. And if anything, maybe the user interface could be a little updated. But other than that, I think that the system works as intended.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox solves organization and sharing problems, helps with large media files that can't be emailed, and makes adding users to shared files easier.

Effortless File Sharing and Collaboration with Seamless Desktop Integration

  • March 13, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is our go-to for cloud storage and document sharing because it is truly effortless. The product enables us to collaborate on documents internally and share files externally. When we share externally, people can still access files through dropbox.com without needing an account or an app. I also appreciate the desktop version Dropbox because it integrates seamlessly into my drives that are already stored on my device.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only issue I've ever encountered with Dropbox is related to storage settings. It can be challenge to determine which folders or files are stored locally and taking up too much space on your drive. However, once located, it's easy to switch to online only and free up space.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox enables cross-team collaboration across multiple products in real time. Other products might work within a web browser, but Dropbox creates solution that works in multiple scenarios (online, on desktop, with and without internet, etc.). Thanks to Dropbox, we can confident work on files, save them, and trust that our colleagues will be able to access them within seconds.

Easy, Convenient Cloud File Sharing and Safekeeping

  • March 12, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's an easy and convenient way for anyone to share files and / or keep them in the cloud for safekeeping.
What do you dislike about the product?
While not as frequent as other services, the reminders to upgrade are mildly irritating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox helps me share large files with others. Some files are too large to be sent as attachments in email. Dropbox helps avoid the need to create a zipped archive with files split. Some recipients don't know how to reassemble files split into zipped archives. I also use it to keep some of my files in the cloud, where they are easily available to me wherever I may be, as long as I have a phone or laptop with an internet connection.
