Fast and Reliable for Large Assets, but Pricing Jumps Between Plans

  • March 19, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As a developer, I consider it a strong option for its speed and reliability. It handles complex file structures well and stores large assets without issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
In my opinion, the pricing tiers have a massive price hike when I move from the free plan to the Plus or Professional plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves my problems with fragmented workflows by keeping client feedback on my coding, design assets, and storage maintenance in one place. It also bridges the gap between Slack, Google Drive, and my local folders, so everything feels more connected and easier to manage.

Convenient Storage and Sharing for Large Files

  • March 18, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Convenient way to store and transfer large files. Quick and easy to use, and we can send to non Dropbox users as well. Dropbox is a reliable cloud storage platform I use to store, organise, and share files across devices. It makes collaboration easy with features like shared folders, file syncing, and real-time updates. I find the interface clean and straightforward, which helps me manage documents without any hassle. It’s also useful for backing up important files and accessing them from anywhere. Overall, it’s a simple yet powerful tool for both personal and team productivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's limited to just dropbox without other systems as compared to something like Google drive
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storing and transferring files quickly and easily

Seamless Auto-Sync Across Devices That Just Works

  • March 16, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
From my experience, the biggest advantage is that everything stays updated across my devices automatically. I can save a file on my laptop and instantly access it on my phone without emailing it to myself or using a USB drive. It just works in the background, which saves a lot of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Another downside for me is the pricing when you need more storage. While the platform works well, upgrading can feel a bit expensive compared to some other cloud storage options that offer more space on their free plans.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using it, I used to email files to myself or carry them on a USB drive just to move them between my laptop and phone. It was messy and easy to lose track of the latest version of a document. Dropbox removes that issue because my files are automatically synced and available anywhere.

Another problem it solves is sharing large files. Instead of dealing with email attachment limits, I can simply send a link to a file or folder. That makes collaboration much easier and faster.

Organized File Storage and Easy Team Folder Sharing with Dropbox

  • March 16, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
With Dropbox I love that you are able to create different folders of files and keep them stored in one place but in an organize system. I also love that you can assign different team members to different folders where they can add and access files. In addition, drop box allows you to have enough and a lot of storage for your files and recovery so you never loose them and know where they are at all times. At last, you are also able to edit files directly in one system and the system is able to handle a lot of files t once.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the moment I don't like that you are not able to lock your folders so it is not leak and someone else is able to access it and also not hack prevented.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox is solving having one software besides outlook and Gmail to store files but have them into different folders and not having to pay extra money just to have this feature. It is beneficial by allowing business to run smooth and having all the employees access everyone files in one place without having to stress where everything is. Also, the software is able to handle a lot of files at once without hassle and interruption.

Platform-Agnostic Dropbox That Integrates Seamlessly Across Our Tool Stack

  • March 16, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Unlike Google Drive or OneDrive, which want to keep you inside their own ecosystems, Dropbox is platform-agnostic. It integrates seamlessly with everything—Adobe Creative Cloud, Slack, Zoom, and even Microsoft Office. This makes it the best choice if your team uses a "heterogeneous" mix of tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Is often criticized for being more expensive than its big tech competitors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox solves the problem of digital fragmentation by using AI to organize and search for files across all your different apps in one place. This benefits you by saving time and reducing stress, allowing you to stay focused on your work instead of hunting for lost documents.
