What do you dislike about the product?
Issue is pricing. As your data grows, costs can increase quite fast, which makes it less friendly for startups or teams trying to stay lean.
Overall, it’s great for ease of use, but can feel restrictive and expensive as you scale.

Amplitude Supercharges Insights with MCP Integration, AI Agent, and Standout Guides & Surveys
What do you like best about the product?
First, the MCP integration has been a genuine productivity multiplier. Being able to query Amplitude data directly within my existing workflow, without switching context, has dramatically shortened the path from question to insight. Tasks that used to require multiple steps across tools now happen in a single flow.
Second, the integrated AI agent makes the platform accessible at every level. Instead of manually building charts for every business question, I can ask naturally and get to answers faster. This has been especially valuable for ad hoc analysis and exploratory questions.
Third, Guides and Surveys is a standout feature. The ability to trigger in-app nudges, onboarding flows, and feedback prompts based on behavioral data closes the loop between analytics and action. It lets you engage users at exactly the right moment, with minimal engineering overhead.
Together, these three capabilities make Amplitude feel less like a BI tool and more like an integrated part of how the product team operates.

What do you dislike about the product?
Event management and schema changes can be challenging at scale. When event names evolve or need restructuring, it tends to have a knock-on effect across charts, dashboards, and cohorts. A more guided migration experience would go a long way in reducing the maintenance burden that comes with a maturing data taxonomy.
Some of the more advanced features have a learning curve. Tools like Pathfinder or custom formula metrics are genuinely powerful, but they reward users who invest time in understanding the platform deeply. Better in-product guidance or contextual tooltips could help teams get more value from these features sooner.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude solves the core challenge every product team faces: turning raw user behavior into decisions you can act on with confidence.
For us, this shows up in a few concrete ways. Funnel and retention analysis lets us understand where learners drop off and what keeps them coming back, which directly shapes how we prioritize features and iterate on the learning experience. Cohort segmentation means we can go beyond surface-level metrics and ask sharper questions, like how engagement differs across skill levels, markets, or acquisition channels.
More broadly, Amplitude reduces the distance between a business question and a reliable answer. That benefits the whole team, but especially as a product manager it means I can walk into decisions, whether about monetization, onboarding, or feature prioritization, with data rather than instinct alone.

Real-Time Insights and A/B Testing Made Easy with Amplitude
What do you like best about the product?
"Amplitude’s real-time tracking and user-friendly dashboard are game changers. I love how quickly I can set up A/B test tracking and see immediate results.
What do you dislike about the product?
"The pricing structure can be quite aggressive as you scale. While the free tier is generous, the jump to the paid 'Growth' or 'Enterprise' plans is significant and might be out of reach for mid-sized startups.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Option 1: Solving "Data Democratization" (The Team Player)
"Before Amplitude, our product data was siloed, and every question required a ticket for the data team.

Fast, Easy-to-Use AI Insights for Day-to-Day Performance Checks
What do you like best about the product?
The AI feature and overall speed make it easy to use day to day, especially when I need to quickly check the most recent performance. The AI feature also helps answer questions without needing to know the technical side of creating dashboards.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great to have a feature that compares your performance to market benchmarks, beyond the current analytics suggestions. For now, I’m using the outcome of the chat with the AI tool and pasting it into other AI tools like ChatGPT to get clearer guidance on the steps needed to fix a problem.
It would also be helpful if it could tell you which events you’re missing in your setup, so it can guide you in setting up Amplitude correctly and, in turn, give you more accurate results.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Knowing where the problem is without chasing my tail, and being able to see how one specific phone brand is performing versus another, makes a big difference. The answers take seconds now, not hours like in the past the smar asstinat made it go beyong the normal data and finding ways to eget analytical feedback without the need for the actual data to be there , example , it was able to know arabic search keywords wjust by the unicode , this was not possible .
Empowers Data-Driven Decisions with Ease
What do you like best about the product?
I use Amplitude Analytics to understand user interactions and make data-driven decisions. I'm able to track user behavior, analyze funnels to identify drop-offs, and measure retention and engagement over time. It's especially valuable for evaluating the impact of new features or experiments across user segments and monitoring statistical significance. I appreciate how it allows me to get self-serve insights quickly, reducing dependency on manual analysis. I like that it's easy to gain insights without heavily relying on data teams. The speed at which I can explore user behavior, build funnels, and segment users speeds up decision-making significantly. I value the standardized metrics tracking, quick anomaly detection, as well as building quick dashboards and utilizing MCP connectors with AI tools like Claude and Augment. Additionally, using MCP connectors in Amplitude allows me to leverage AI tools to schedule dashboard deliveries, create dashboards, summarize A/B test results, automate event tracking, and alert when results are statistically significant.
What do you dislike about the product?
One consistent challenge that can be improved is to make standardized templates available for events tracking and data-quality issues. Sometimes there is a limit on how much UI resources I can use in Amplitude and I have to rely on external data sources for that. Finally, clearer and more pro-active signaling around statistical significance and experiment readiness would make it easier to move faster without second guessing results.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Amplitude Analytics to understand user interactions and make data-driven decisions. It helps me track KPIs, identify drop-offs, and measure feature impacts without relying heavily on manual analysis. This speeds up decision making and reduces dependency on data teams.
Speedy Insights with Minimal Effort, but Needs Event Clarity
What do you like best about the product?
I think the session replay and the session replay agent features in Amplitude Analytics are really valuable. What I like more about Amplitude is the speed. If I have to do the same analysis on SQL, like BigQuery, it would take me quite some time and require a lot of manual effort in writing queries and fine-tuning filter conditions. With Amplitude, it's just a quick drag and drop, and once you know how to use the UI, it simplifies a lot of manual effort. You can quickly get to an insight rather than wasting time doing the same thing on BigQuery. So, I'd say the speed, along with a lot of these AI features, are what stand out for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think right now, for me, the biggest disadvantage would be the events. So what happens is, as a data scientist, I use SQL a lot, and the column names that I use on SQL or BigQuery don't necessarily always match with the Amplitude events. Amplitude doesn't directly give you a one-on-one mapping, and it adds a lot of complexity on top of a simple event metric. It's quite difficult for me to understand what a particular event does when I try to use it on a funnel or something. Right now, we don't have a data dictionary that tracks the actual conditions for each of these amplitude events. I have to dig deeper into the queries that populate these events, so clarity is probably the biggest disadvantage. For a new user, it's easy to end up misusing an event or using an incorrect event for their analysis. I think having a data dictionary would be useful to understand what each event in Amplitude does and what the actual conditions applied on top are. Right now, we're limited to the definitions of only a few events, and there's a lot more untouched value within the event side of Amplitude. That's something I feel could be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude Analytics helps me with user journey tracking, quickly identifying where users drop off and understanding segments. It speeds up data analysis compared to SQL, allowing faster insights. The funnel and cart analysis features identify friction points without heavy engineering, enabling data-informed decisions quickly.
Real-Time Customer Insights That Drive Better Decisions
What do you like best about the product?
It's very helpful to find out how customers use our services in real-time. The metrics we collect help us make decisions that will affect our customers' use of our own products.
What do you dislike about the product?
Finding the information I need is daunting since it is largely dependent on admins across orgs that make decisions on what is collected. This means what is collected is not always clearly defined.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The largest problem we have solved is understanding user drop-off rates during Meetings. Fixing this problem has been a boon to our business.
