Amplitude Review

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the visualization technique for Amplitude Analytics. You can create lots of different dashboards and cohort analyses and everybody in your company can reach these reports. In that way, they can see the performances just in a second and after that create some actions according to the Amplitude Analytics reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is getting very slow and you can not work with the large data set. It may be easier to create dashboards with sessions like other cohorts. There should be some default dashboards and we should use them for our different measurement reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In my company with Amplitude Analytics, we are creating custom dashboards, cohorts for the different performances. In that way, every team is able to check their performance and create actions according to the metrics in Amplitude Analytics.

Excellent Tool for Product Analytics

What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude makes product analysis and visualization very easy to develop and iterate over, enabling you to focus your time looking for insights rather than preparing data.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not as powerful to make customizable dashboards as the traditional BI tools like Tableau or Power BI and other types of event-base sources of data beyond customers behaviour related ones (like a driver app) may not be the most suitable alternative.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understand our customers behavior through their interaction with our platforms. Showing the ways our users engage with the app and website, I can provide valueble information to our PMs and POs to help them discover sources of improvement.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get Amplitude's free ebook on product analytics ("Product Analytics for Dummies") for free directly from their website. This will serve as great introduction to the types of analysis and tools available on Amplitude.

The easiest analytics tool for Product Managers

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it's easy to build your own dashboards even if you never worked with analytics before. It's pretty straightforward. And super useful for Product managers, lacking the attention of the data team. You don't have to guess how events call, it's all written in the extension, so you can check it whenever you follow user steps that you want to analyse.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think I am lacking some hints when the dashboard isn't rendering. It could be just a delay, cause the data set is quite big, or I could have chosen the wrong attributes
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using it to track health metrics for media products across website.
For A/B test tracking and for some indication of SEO metrics disturbance.
Recently we also start implementing the quasi-experiment approach and It's very easy with Amplitude to build a/a test based on data in the past, as it's all stored

What do you like best about the product?
I love how fast it typically is and the wide range of analytic tools it puts at our disposition. I use mainly funnels, segmentation, user lookup, and event management tab.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the new features in Beta are less useful than they were before (root cause analysis is worse now, in my opinion, there are some redundancies in other features)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving mainly product performance or adoption questions, and it is beneficial to give the product managers feedback on what is working and what isn't. I think it has contributed to faster learning about our features.

Reliable tool for product analytics

What do you like best about the product?
Simple interface and easiness when using the tool, the raw data from chart can be easily imported to google sheet via sn add-on to be processed further to gain good information
What do you dislike about the product?
Some basic graph features mainly on event segmentation, such:
- Double y-axis feature
- For the formula feature, the graph is separated and cannot be merged into one graph with the original event
- Can input only one formula in one chart
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can track a good amount of reports about growth/quality in all business' events, even can sniff a list of fishy transactions/actions based on some parameters in order to reduce the campaign abuse

What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use, has a very clean look and is the key tool for me to track performance for organic content.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is hard to track more complex customer journeys across different pathnames without manually implementing a lot of URLs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am tracking performance of my written content. With Amplitude I can analyze which pages have the most impact and react a lot faster on changes.

What do you like best about the product?
Funnels, segmentation & Retention come in very handy if we want to start doing a quick analysis on our own, without running a query
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Amplitude is too slow to pull the data I'm looking for & I can't trust the customer journey. It would be great if we could get journey insights & better customization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Amplitude for Product analytics on activation, retention & customer journey.

What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of setting up the data that I need to visualize
ability to cross join data from several table into a great visual
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that I can only go back 12 months. This is a massive downside as I always need to join the data back outside of amplitude to go back to historicals
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can consolidate all my views into a single one, build dashboards that are used by other stakeholders and make thing simple for them to understand

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about it is the easy way we can build charts and dashboars. It's totally custom to my needs. Besides that, it's very easy to copy the chats and use them for others metrics. I can see all my chats very easily in the same page, when I put them all together in a Dashboard. If I could say whats I think about the amplitude in only one sentence, I would say that amplitude makes my life easier and helps a lot my productivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not been using amplitude for a long time, so I don1t have a lot of bad things to say about it. The first thing that took me some time to understand its the event. Amplitude has its own events that need to be implemented on the website. Because of that, It took me some time to understand what were the events I had to track on amplitude. Besides that, it also took me some time to understand whats were the metrics I had to use to see the information I wanted. Sometimes it gets hard to filter the information you need. It took me some time to understand what are the fields related to the user or to the event, and then what are the event that added up when we used the unique events
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Amplitude in my daily routine to understand my user journey. I use it to check my performance daily and mainly to check the conversion rate between my user journey. It makes me much more productive because I can visualize all the steps of my user journey very quickly without the necessity of looking at different screens. Besides that, If we think about time, it benefits me financially because I can be more productive and use my time to the things that matter; it's automatically updated, so I don't have to use my time bringing data together. I can spend most of my time analyzing the data.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Everyone who needs to make your day easier and analyze data should use Amplitude. You can build chats and dashboards vey easily, and, the best of all, is that you can adapt the chats you already have by only changing some metrics.
